AquagriTech values urban bio-waste to make natural food of fish associeted in one system with plants that assimilate the excrements of fish for their growth, the water is so filtering and return to the fish tank. The cycle saves 90 per cent of water, optimizes spaces so ideal for cities, requires no effort, no expenses and no special knowledge. It's integrated in an urban greenhouse that produces healthy and fresh fish and vegetables no stop in the year, and in the culture kit connected to the phone for families in order to control themselves their alimentation from his kitchen or living room. Our main objective is to make healthy and adequate food for everyone, regardless of social level.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
Since November 2017 with own resources, we have set up 3 prototypes of culture kits of fish and tomatoes that works with 3 families who currently enjoy a good independence and food security. And by these feedbacks, we had actually obtained 100 validated orders in Congo and abroad. We plan to eventually offer AquagriTEch kits connected remotely manageable with his smartphone. The company is registered in July 2018, We are a finalist at the 2018 African Business Summit competition in Johannesburg, winner of the Tony Elumelu Foundation 2018 Program and best start-up of the year 2019 in the Congo by the Total group, which allowed us to finance the acquisition of our site and start the construction of a 300 m2 connected greenhouse and an animal feed waste treatment workshop and a large kit design workshop. By July we launch the production of the greenhouse and the official launch of the site.
