Explain your project in details:

Today's youth are tomorrows future and it continues to become increasingly important that we take that into consideration the significance of educating and promoting social work and entrepreneurship amongst today's youth. Voice Your Opinion is a platform that connects students to NGO's and lets students express their ideas by connecting to NGO's and taking their ideas forward. For example, per se you had an idea such as setting up a donation camp, however, you need an NGO to help you take this idea forward on a large scale and you need to be able to connect to this NGO to conduct your donation camp. This is exactly what VYO does. It manifests various categories such as poverty, women empowerment, etc, one can pick an NGO from these categories and contact them. The website also offers a variety of volunteering opportunities to help those that don't have an idea but still want to take civic action. This website is primarily targeted to students, however, adult volunteers that want to be apart of the website can choose to use it as well. This website isn't one that generates revenue however, it doesn't run ads and is primarily for the benefit of society. Attached below is a video previewing the website.

Your profile as an entrepreneur

Considering that I am only in my sophomore year of high school, I believe that I have a long way to go as far as being an entrepreneur goes. However, I've always loved leadership and innovation, voicing my opinions out, being the first to raise my hand in class and much more. Being a single child, I've learned how to express myself as an independent and self-reliant individual. However, I've only attained this confidence from various programs that I have joined and things that I have started. In the year of 2017, I joined a worldwide entrepreneurship competition. My team first competed nationally and won first place and then competed internationally and won second place. This entire experience not only taught me a lot about myself, my strengths and weaknesses, but it also taught me about various aspects of starting a business and helped fuel my passion for entrepreneurship and marketing. Furthermore, I started researching a lot more about social problems and stumbled upon the field of Social Entrepreneurship. After stumbling upon this field I took a course from Harvard about social entrepreneurship and innovation and started two companies of my own, Voice Your Opinion and Each Reach Teach. An award that continues to motivate me is an award that I got from one of my school farewell events, I was voted as most likely to be president. This award has a huge role to play in what I do today and what continues to push me that extra level.
