Explain your project in details:

An e-library that has educational resources for secondary students. This library will have both online and offline facilities depending on the scope of the information to access. This will be like our physical library but the difference is that you don't need to be in the library to access the resources. It does not require the internet to access resources if you have access to the computer with the software. The student will only require the internet to log in and access the resources when they are off campus(can't access the laboratory computer) making it cheaper and easy to maintain. The library will contain resources in form of pdf, , video tutorials with subtitles and many languages , revision questions from level 1 to level 7 in order of complexity , local and foreign case studies and examples ,learning resources about basic life grooming and life coaching(leadership ,public speaking etc) and many other accessible forms. The library is cheap to maintain since information can be uploaded to the server at any point and the available information can also be edited if any changes occur along the way. The company intends to purchase copyrights of the contents to be used so as to ensure the licensing requirements of the authors, publishers and respective boards are met. The system was designed in accordance with the ZIMBABWE COUNCIL FOR HIGHER EDUCATION ACT but can be replicated in any country.

Sustainability and future plans

The e-library will be installed in school that already have computers first and a payment plan will be negotiated on how other schools could benefit from the initiative so as to ensure that every school has access to the library come 2027. The system will also be supported by an offline application that will be accessed on Google play store and also WhatsApp bot so that students can make use of all available platforms to access educational resources. The library will start function within 72 hours of installation. The system will only require a once off installation charge and it will have an infinite life as long as the educational resources in the service are still relevant. We have already engaged a solar company so as to have an alternative source of power for areas that are remote so that they can power their computers and access the e-library once the software is installed. We intend to use equity funding since it is relatively cheaper and easily accessible.
