Sustainability and future plans
As a pilot, WeBarterFirst currently collects specified waste fabric for a Lagos-based fashion brand which upcycles them into functional fashion items. Your profile as an entrepreneur
A seasoned Business Analyst and Product Manager with an Engineering background and 11+ years of experience working with leading organizations across the Energy, Healthcare and Electronic Manufacturing sectors. I consider myself to be a natural Change Agent, as I constantly present creative yet sustainable solutions to the problems/gaps I identify around me. I have also been privileged to gain influence, business acumen and hone my skills through my career. I strongly believe Nature presented a model for the planet's sustainability in the natural ecosystem. Increasing concerns for global warming, the contribution of the fashion industry and prevalent waste fabric in Western Nigeria where I am originally from combined with this belief to inspire the idea that is now split into WeBarterFirst and BEEHC. I am 34 years old, a female Nigerian citizen currently residing in Canada.
