Home in a Bags objective is to increase natural disaster preparedness and aid in the restoration process post disaster. Our aim is to promote preparedness to the masses through social awareness campaigns. Our innovative approach consists of having shelter solutions for displaced individuals, tips and tricks for preppers and power/communications. When infrastructure goes down Home In a Bag will provide portable power, communications and shelter.

Sustainability and future plans
Social good and finical profitability go hand in hand with the mutuality assured prosperity branding of HIABs business model. We plan to make Home in a Bag as well rounded as an idea as possible in preparation for industry experts investment. Currently we have Canada number 1 B2B sales expert as a mentor. Our business model is niche, solving a problem, scalable and has a return customer. Beginning 2020 we intend to have a drop-shipping website available and brand awareness campaign promoting mutually assured prosperity so that we may be judged on our contribution to the community while accruing industry experts. We currently are in contact with a Canadian government agency to get market analysis on the portable shelter industry. The prepper industry is gaining main stream popularity as well as outdoor recreation sector.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
I am a 25 years old, Grenadian citizen living in Canada and Tsungai Chimbwanda (cofounder) 22 year old Zimbabwean/Canadian. First hand experience of displacement is the motivating factor behind HIAB. We are committed to elevating humanity by combining social responsibility with entrepreneurship to create change in the world. The abundant access to cutting edge technology gives the ability to tackle some of the hardest problems plaguing or planet in a feasible. Currently I am camp councillor for youth from low income families and disadvantaged circumstance where they learn learn skills like leadership, resilience, and responsibility. We believe it is important for cultural art to be implemented in the graphic design of HIAB disaster zone shelter. It is important for displaced individuals to know that HIAB had their interests in mind as a temporary home so that it can be better accepted by individuals in that area.
