Explain your idea in details:
This present project is initiated by Mr. Tiany CAMARA and will extend over an area of 150 hectares (20 ha of heavy soil and 10 ha of Dior soil). The components are: field crops; vegetable and fruit growing on heavy soil; poultry farming and beef fattening. Field crops (winter crops) will be grown on 10 hectares. This component will concern millet, maize, rice and peanuts. Market gardening will be done on Deck Dior soil on an area of 5 hectares with speculations such as zucchini, onion, eggplant, okra, cabbage, salad, tomato and peanut out of season. The number of cycles per year is fixed at 3. In terms of fruit, there will be an orchard of 60 hectares composed of the following species: citrus (lemon, orange, mandarin, avocado and mango), pineapple and banana trees. Laviculture will have the following specifications: flock of 6,000 subjects (broilers and laying hens), number of rotations per year: 3. The fattening activity, with a starting workforce of 20 subjects, will experience an annual evolution of 10% until the fifth year when the number will finally reach 150. This project aims to propose a local food solution, creates maximum jobs to maintain food self-sufficiency in the short, less, and long term. for this the key activities are agricultural production, distribution and service. this project is part of the second and eighth sustainable development objectives and A market analysis allows us to classify the segments into 4 target groups that are: Individuals / households: They need quality pineapple and buy in markets, roadside for family consumption or alone. Culinary providers: They are looking for fruits, vegetables, cereals, eggs, good quality chickens for menu preparation. This segment is more demanding on quality (products, delivery times, availability). Production companies: They have products for processing into Juices, jams, dried fruit, mashed potatoes. Beginning farmers or private investors: Need advice, rejects. the success factor of this project lies in the potential experience that the project leader has and the diversity of product offered compared to the very virgin target market.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
