External Thermal Recovery System.

My solutions proposed applications are designed to alleviate individuals who reside in countries that experience bouts of extreme heat. My proposed solution considers the implementation of a home-based thermal recovery system that will be used to absorb external thermal energy which thereafter will provide a source of clean renewable energy. My approach considers utilizing Vanta-black aluminium alloy as roofing and also as a heat sink/thermal switch in conjunction with a thermal electric generator (TEG) and HVAC unit. The aluminium alloy roofing is used as a heat sink/thermal switch that absorbs and controls the flow rate of thermal energy which is then transferred into a TEG so as to collect the thermal energy. Additionally, an HVAC unit is used to reduce and control the temperature of the TEGs cold side which thereafter produces a controlled thermal gradient (electricity). Moreover, the HVAC unit is also used to control the residual temperature in a residential building. Ultimately, this approach will globally reduce the urban heat island effect which thereafter will produce clean energy and reduce hydro bills.

Worldwide, billions of people are facing the global effects from climate change. As a result, life threatening conditions such as extreme heat waves are hindering many peoples daily lives. Side effects from extreme heat can include but is not limited to, mental stress, physical stress and financial stress etc. Extreme heat is yet another burden to bear in this forever changing world that we live in. My solution is designed to harness thermal energy which will produce clean energy while reducing the heat island effect and cooling residential buildings Via HVAC unit. This proposed solution could be globally implemented and used to help mitigate threatening environmental conditions such as heat and extreme heat. We need more ways to mitigate extreme heat. My proposed solution is designed to be sold and distributed to a large market (infrastructure such as residential buildings). This proposed solution could also be implemented throughout non-residential building such as offices, hospitals etc. I consider this approach as environmentally friendly and economically sound for the user and product/company.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
My proposed solution is merely conceptual so I have not yet drafted a business model. However, installation fees of this solution would approximately cost 12-15 USD a sq ft, plus an additional one-time lump sum fee for purchasing a TEG. I am also assuming that residences will already own a central air/HVAC system. That being said, I require financial assistance and a mentor ship in order for my proposed solution to achieve fruition. I require financial assistance for the purposes of filing a patent, R&D/quality control, purchasing and or renting space for R&D, paying staff/utility/maintenance running costs etc. An approximate cost guesstimate to start-up, manufacture and sell my solution as a finish product would be 100,000--125,000 USD. I will also require a side-by-side mentor ship from an individual or a group of individuals who can assist with overall day-to-day management.
