Explain your idea in details:
The main objective of Clean-Tech Republik is to impart entrepreneurial and leadership education and support to technology start-ups working in the climate and environment domain. This ensures that technology products and ideas that may remain confined to the labs actually get a chance to test their commercial potential and social impact. Hence, we contribute to innovation, economic growth and challenge competitors to improve. We are different from traditional entrepreneurial support organizations in the sense that we have no physical or brick and mortar space. So our programs and activities are conducted virtually through digital mediums or hosted by our partner organizations if a physical event is required. We organize and curate different activities for entrepreneurial capacity building, including the following: - 10 Minute Talks bite sized learning modules on elements of sustainable business pre-recorded and shared on social media via Facebook, YouTube - Hackathons to crowd source technology for impact ideas specifically focusing on clean technology both virtual and physical - Capacity Building Workshops focusing on a specific entrepreneurial capacity development topic such as developing ideas into prototype, sustainable business model development or pitching for impact both virtual and physical - Innovation Boot Camps 3 to 5 day events to help ideators convert their ideas into a viable business model both virtual and physical - Virtual Clean-Tech / Climate Start-Up Accelerator - Climate Entrepreneurs Business Coaching & Mentoring - Networking Events & Mixers a community exchange event to showcase different start-ups and getting to know people in the community

Clean-Tech Republik core focus is on SDGs number 4 (Quality Education) and number 13 (Climate Action). Focusing on entrepreneurial education for climate action, our key performance indicators include the following: 1. Our target is to reach 1000 young people and women across Pakistan i.e. 100 beneficiaries each in 10 cities 2. We envision at least 20 products to commercialize and launch across the period July 2020 to June 2021 who go through our innovation boot camps & virtual accelerator 3. Using a climate impact forecast tool to quantify the positive impact our start-ups have on the environment and climate through reduction in CO2 emissions, reduced water consumption for production or various other life-cycle measurement indicators relevant to their start-up 4. At least 3 corporate partnerships to support the development of climate entrepreneurs We will also be able to address income generation and livelihood opportunities through the establishment of the start-ups. Since the start-ups focus on climate action and clean technology, there is an indirect contribution to the SDGs number 5 (Gender Equality), number 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation), number 7 (Affordable & Clean Energy), number 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), number 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production), number 14 (Life Below Water), number 15 (Life on Land) and number 17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals)
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The business model focuses on B2C, B2B2C and B2B. 1. B2C Model Each participant of a workshop or networking event will contribute a small fee (ranging between Euro 5 to Euro 50) depending on the event for the learning session. Also the business coaching and mentoring services will be charged. 2. B2B Model For maximum outreach and scale, we will offer this program as a marketing / supply chain / talent pool development initiative to corporate sector. Whether the industry is looking for technical people, or a solution they need to implement, we will use the program to develop a corporate sector resource pipeline and for this, the business / industry will pay for service. 3. B2B2C Model In this scenario, our activities will be co-branded and sponsored / supported by the corporate partners. This will be through their community development initiatives. Also, we will be challenging the corporate sector to provide in kind support such as mentoring / coaching, physical space, or collaboration for pilot testing of start-up products that can be implemented within their industry.
