Ultra Violet Light Auto-Sanitizing Door Handle.

My proposed solution considers the use of a Far-Ultra Violet Light Auto-Sanitizing Door Handle to prevent bacterial contaminate spreading. This solution will be applied to essential facilities such as retirement homes, prisons, hospitals etc. The Far-Ultra Violet light (200-222 nm) will be configured and shaped into various styles and sizes. Moreover, the UV light will be encapsulated within transparent plastic along with small embedded motion sensors. The embedded motion sensors will detect when an individual removes their hand from the door handle. Afterwards, the ultra violet light will pulsate, subsequently auto-sterilizing the handle free of bacteria.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
In the USA alone thousands of hospitalized at risk patients such as the elderly die from cause related illnesses spread by bacteria. My proposed solution will help prevent these at risk patients from coming into contact with germs by means of auto-sterilizing door handles free of bacteria. By using Far-UV light we can make sure that this product will not penetrate the outer dead (non living) layers of human skin or the eye, but is still considered effective at inactivating bacteria and viruses. My proposed solution could be used for instance to prevent the spreading of the present virus (covid 19).
Plans for implementation and sustainability
This proposed solution is merely conceptual so I have not yet drafted a business model. However, in order for this proposed solution to be a viable finished product I will require financial assistance and a mentor-ship/guidance. I require financial assistance for the purposes of filing a patent, R&D/quality control, purchasing and or renting space for R&D, paying staff/utility/maintenance running costs etc. An approximate cost guesstimate to start-up, manufacture and sell my solution as a finish product would be 75,000--100,000 USD. I will also require a side-by-side mentor ship from an individual or a group of individuals who can assist with overall day-to-day management.
