Gruinvild: Sustainable Agriculture

The idea aims to raise funds for the creation of Gruinvild, a non-profit organization focused on the sustainable development of family farming and small agribusiness, with a focus on the production of fruit and vegetables, as well as the preservation of Atlantic Forest(Mata Atlântica) remnants. that are inside rural properties (creation of RPPNs) in the State of Espirito Santo-Brazil. Gruinvild's preliminary objective is to disseminate Environmental Education to all farmers and their dependents, as well as entrepreneurial education.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
The promotion and implementation of sustainable family farming Estado do Espirito Santo-Brasil has the ability to impact sustainable development, as it proposes the use of techniques, management and technologies that reduce the impact of the production of vegetables, fruits and eggs on the environment. The goals for achieving sustainability are: reforestation and the creation of RPPN (Private Reserve of Natural Heritage); the low-cost development of a biodiesel plant based on residual vegetable oil to supply the two-wheel tractor; adequate soil management plan and management of water resources; decrease the school dropout rate of children and adolescents who are children of farmers and the diffusion of environmental education. Evaluations will be carried out on production capacity, producing more with less. Verification of Increase or decrease of native tree cover on the properties benefited by the project and with the help of universities to check the levels of CO2 emissions annually.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The idea will be structured as a non-profit social company, offering services and products that promote sustainability in the field. It will seek as sources of financing the large international (national) and national organizations, funds to support Research and Innovation and other entities that work in the financing of projects with social and environmental impact.
I am Gislaine Ferreira de Sousa, I was born in the state of Espírito Santo-Brazil, I am 28 years old, I have a lato sensu specialization certificate in Environmental Management and Education, currently pursuing a Professional Master in Socioeconomic Environmental Sustainability at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP). I worked in 2019 as a professor of entrepreneurship in the state education network of Espírito Santo - Brazil and, in this position, I was the supervisor of the research project Sala Verde Empreendedora, winner in two categories of Mateense Science and Engineering Feira - FEMACE.
