wazazi mobile phone clinic
Explain your idea in details:
Africa is one of the continents responsible for most maternal and infant deaths, with more than 300,000 women dying each year as a result of to give birth and pregnancy complications, this is more than war and terrorism, though many people don't know it, The biggest challenge facing many pregnant women in Africa, not to attend the clinic on time and not going completely, there are various reasons why pregnant women do not open the clinic, such as: 1. Shortage of health facilities 2. Long distance to health center 3. Poor service at health facilities 4. Lack of resources at health facilities 5. Poor infrastructure 6. Lack of money, cost, laziness, shortage of doctors, cultural traditions and more. so from those challenges I have been looking for a solution that will significantly improve clinical services, which is to create application software that will be used on mobile phones and will deal with various pregnancy equipment, which are easy to carry and walk anywhere and some of material used in testing, such as: 1. heart rate 2. Measurement of temperature 3.urine protein dipstick text 4.urine tester 5. weight measurement 6. pressure measurement 7. HIV test 8. scanner measurement, ultrasound and more So all the test equipment is small and can fit in a bag like a laptop bag. application software will integrate with the doctor and after the tests you will send the tests to the doctor through the application and after the doctor has done the tests he will give you answers and give you advice, the application will have all clinical procedures such as regular clinics, will give you a chance to express yourself and provide audio and text service
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
A large percentage of Africans own mobile phones especially in Tanzania and the main goal of creating a mobile application called the wazazi mobile phone clinic is to want to deliver clinical services to the beneficiaries in a timely manner as this service can be used at no cost to individuals and small health facilities. Wazazi mobile phone clinic is a clinic that connects to a doctor Directly via the Internet for example on this epidemic of covid 19 corona virus many countries made lockdown, using this service pregnant women they could access the clinic as usual without go out Externally, most devices in this service use a charge system and a battery cell so that they can be used in any area without electricity, One of the challenges in Africa is the shortage of a specialist doctors but through wazazi mobile phone clinic we have been able to find solution.will be able to serve more clients and short time, this application will also help provide fertility education to participants, so through the wazazi mobile phone clinic I am sure it will be one of the solutions to reduce maternal and child mortality and reproductive diseases, Many parents will be convinced To join this service to avoid the challenges they face, this service will reduce the persecution with occasional nuisances, using this system many women will live happily and peacefully, especially in rural areas.By using wazazi mobile phone clinic I will have achieved the goal 3.Good Health and Well-Being, and goal 4: Quality Education.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
using my company I will request cooperation from different organizations including WHO and UNICEF and other health and technology organizations with the aim of accomplishing this concept of parental health through mobile phone application software and web interface. WHO and other partners would use this opportunity to increase their effectiveness in fighting and reducing parents and child mortality, I would be glad the africa government health centers would be given this service free of charge, health organizations should be involved with the distribution of this serviceThis program can be used on different health facilities and connect to the big center which will have professional doctors who will be receiving tests such as scanner pictures, ultrasound and other tests they will investigate and return answers and advice, this will make this service be available nationally and anywhere that is scarce in countries like Tanzania. I would advise health organizations to prepare the project as donors especally in African countries and starting in my own country Tanzania, this project will involve the health of the rural parents and the health of the parent wherever, you have no cost, and individuals they will download the application through their mobile phones and take the test equipment to the appropriate location and start the application
