Managing Inequality: The Principle Of Humanity
Published on July 1, 2020 um 16:38
Explain your idea in details:
In one part of life or the other, we've been faced with one form of inequality, be it bullying, gender inequality, racism, social bullying, or even in work places. Inequality is now an essential social misconduct, that every one has been faced with. Inequality is the bedrock of other social problems. Listening to Kemi's story, she said that the drug addict and cultism she is into today, is a result of bullying (which is a form of inequality). According to her, back then in Secondary School she was constantly bullied by the big kids, because of her meek and gentle nature, and to be able to stand up to them she had to join a gang. Prior to that, in her University days, it developed into cultism then drugs. This is just one of the instances of the relationship between Inequality and other social vices. Well now we have a solution, but is something that can't be achieved without you. For Inequality in all it forms to be reduced and eradicated, we must understand "The Principle Of Humanity", that humanity comes before any other thing in an individual. We must recognize that the person is human, before looking at their skin colour, nationality, ethnicity, race, gender, age, body figure, religion and background. It's essential to understand that the person also has feelings just as we do, before taking action on them.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
In accordance to the Fundamental Human Rights, The Principle Of Humanity aims at providing a conduct to which individuals should follow, act and react, when dealing with fellow individuals. Yes agreed we all have our differences with people, but they shouldn't be judged based on their skin colour, nationality, ethnicity, race, gender, age, body figure, religion and background, but on their human nature and attitude. The Principle Of Humanity aims at making an Inequality Free World. As an African, I know I'll one day walk down the streets of New York, and I won't want to be judged based on my race, nationality, skin colour, etc. They're certain jobs you'll like to take, but you can't because of of individuals involved and how they'll react to you, because you're female or male, or cause of your skin colour, nationality, etc. This Principle would help to shapen our minds towards the right action to take on individuals based on humanity only. Due to the relationship of Inequality to other social vices, applying The Principle Of Humanity would be a drop in other social misconduct we're faced in. Look forward to an Inequality Free World, Look up to The Principle Of Humanity.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Yes, we children are the leaders and hope of tomorrow and the tomorrow starts today. For us to have an Inequality Free World, just as the Fundamental Human Rights are taught in every school to the students, The Principle Of Humanity should also be included in the educational curriculum. So as to affect the child from a young stage, building a strong affection for others in their tender hearts not minding skin colour, nationality, ethnicity, race, gender, age, body figure, religion and background. As young persons, which minds are being shaped every day, it's essential that the principle be invested into their daily lives, so they know how to deal with it, when faced with it, and how to relate with other individuals. Teaching young persons this would make inequality a problem of the pass, as it is a gradual process, then forever. As a teen, Entrepreneurship Campus is the present means of advocacy for this idea, and in subsequent times others will join.
