GraYes: The creation of the wise
Published on July 7, 2020 um 18:38
Explain your idea in details:
Millions of elderly people in developing and poor countries are living in nursing homes. Life here is a little different as if they are all waiting for death. The joys of their lives are almost over. GraYes's goal is to make this time in the lives of seniors the most beautiful time of life. GraYes will provide the necessary materials to the elders in the old age homes. They will use their talents to create different types of products including handicrafts, arts, etc. The money will be given to them by selling the products made by the elders. This will create new possibilities, dreams, and hope for survival among them. Most of the seniors in the old age homes are retired or come from good families. Keeping them focused on one task at a time will increase their thinking as well as their thinking and creativity.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
One day everyone will have to grow old and survive at this age. We get a very beautiful youth and always look at old age with a blind eye. We never want to think that this youth is not permanent. When I start thinking of old age, it is too late. We become physically weak, financially indigent, and unemployed. At this age, we continue to be discriminated against. This initiative will play a leading role in fulfilling the goal of 'SDG 1, No Poverty'. The elderly are an important part of our world, they carry a lot of history and experience. So everyone deserves poverty alleviation and beautiful life. The people in the old age home do not get all the facilities of the society. It is believed that they stay in an old age home due to negligence. GraYes will remove this injustice and inequality towards them. According to SDG 10, GraYes will work to ensure all facilities including their social status, economic growth, etc. and to eliminate inequality.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The entire plan needs to be divided into several stages of implementation. First of all, we have to identify the old age homes and negotiate with its operators. Second, all seniors need to be motivated to do something through several workshops and training and be taught hand-to-hand work. In the next stage, we have to raise money in several ways. Raise money through crowdfunding, donations, bank loans, investing, etc. With that money, the materials have to be collected and delivered to the elderly. In the next stage, handicrafts, art, and other products made by all the elders will be marketed for sale. In the last stage, the money earned from the sale of those products will be handed over to the elders. And this is how the business model will be run in a completely natural process.
