Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
The centre has just five months until now, and I was able to recruit five people whom I'm developing to be the facilitators for the centre and until now they got more than experience, they are the ones who provide IT services to our clients, they created a lifetime thing because previously they had no employment. As for the future days the centre will be able to generate more new employments and developing many of young people who will employ themselves on IT, audio production and singing, they'll be able to pay their bills and depend on themselves, and that is what I call economic development for youth.
Sustainability and future plans
The centre's main activities are IT services, Training, Audio advertising of which are done with innovation, our first customer is a young person who seeks to have professional technology skills and the second are companies and anyone who might need tech service. The centre will be charging a small amount of money from young people in the tech program to help sustain the activities. Apart from helping people who are not able to pay music recording at one time, the recording studio will be able to provide recording services to people who will be able to pay and also will be used to produce audio advertisements for customers. The centre's development vision is to be the leading tech centre in the southern part of Tanzania to reach that we plan to develop as many youth as we can to make them professionals and finally to form a community of tech young entrepreneurs who will be able to contribute more to the communities and sustain their lives.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
I'm a under 30 young community activist who started invested my efforts on developing myself and engaging with community works since when I was 17 years old, after my ordinary level studies I realized my passion on community works and technology so I started joining some innovation hubs, participating to community events and made myself a social activist with a passion on technology and in 2016 I joined one of the living labs called RLabs Tanzania as I believed that I must get something new in my mind and thankfully that I learnt many things regarding personal development and business, I also started a community based organization which of which I was hosting youth talks events called Ypain (Youth positive attitude initiative now) Talks which was a platform by which many of young people were impacted. so then I was recruited by RLabs Tanzania as a Technology lead of the organization until now
