This project aims at improving the quality of education by providing a vital instrument used in schools, professional training facilities and private researchers. The four channel web oscilloscope is a hardware device with four inputs this device connects to a smart device (computer or android phone/tablet) the waveform of the four inputs is simultaneously displayed in a browser. The user can then see the signal quality in real time and also record or analyse the result and then know what decisions to take. In many schools that cannot purchase the traditional type of oscilloscope because its too expensive, the students are told that for example an AC signal lucks like this but the students have no opportunity to see it in reality and they cannot also manipulate or use instrument. My smart oscilloscope model is capable of providing a student each with this very important scientific instrument which have many options to ease the understanding of electrical signals in system design, maintenance and research.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
This project will go a long way to improve the quality of technical education in our communities because many students see electricity and electronics as a mystery since they cannot see what is actually flowing inside the wires. It will make students to develop passion for science and engineering which will go a long way to provide us with good quality engineers and entrepreneurs that can be able to provide solutions to our local problems and challenges.
Sustainability and future plans
By providing solutions and services to the public we hope to generate income revenue that we will be able to create employment and also inspire others to be creative. With this project many will come to discover other services we provide. So far, we have worked with several schools around that have shown great interest in this instrument and from our studies many institutions are interested in this project. We think if we have a financial source of capital we will do mass production to supply to our customers as the instrument will be needed in many developing countries especially in Africa.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
Talla Brian Monde is a Cameroonian born on the fourteenth of April 1983. I have from childhood always loved technology and science always ask so many questions trying to find out how things work and why things happen learning what others have done and trying to do things my own way. My educational career below has helped to develop this talent in me. - CAP in electrical equipment technology - Probatoire Technique F2 Electronics - Baccalaureat Technique F2 Electronics - ATD in Electronic engineering theory from the City & Guilds of London - ATD in engineering project from the City & Guilds of London As a young guy in the secondary school I discovered that the only electronic service provided in my country was maintenance. Knowing that I was creative, I started thinking of how I could come up with an electronic systems design company in my country. This became my vision so in school I was studying not to have the certificate but to be able to realize my vision I read extensively and did allot of experiments. Early 2009 my vision became a reality I started producing electronic control modules on command for companies and individuals with the trade mark TBM ELECTRONICS. September 2010 I change the company name to Microelectronic Engineering Cameroon (MECAM) Mbariko Bambot Armstrong Joined the company.
