Explain your project in details:
Our project is aiming to create sustainable environments to children who are the most marginalized in the community and help them to thrive and create good future through provision of quality education and holistic care. Marginalized children can be a great people and do great things, but the problems are the environment they live, largely prevents them from doing so. They have different talents and visions as far away as other children. But some challenges prevent them. It was at this point we decided to set up this project to be the bridge to help these children to achieve their potentials. Stand for kid objectives are: i. To provide quality education to marginalized children. ii. To provide safe environment for learning iii. To help them to overcome economic and social challenges facing them iv. To strengthen their talents and turn it into source of income v. To protect against violation of their rights vi. To provide holistic care vii. To provide hope and path for reaching good well being Our activities is to reach out to marginalized children and provide to them with appropriate services for their well-being, teaching them various lessons and games after school at our specialized centers, guiding them to become independent and strong in the sphere of life, and also provide free education to them in our school from preschool classes to class three. We also make sure they get all the missed services like the children in healthy families get. Our work is done by reaching out to the child directly and enabling him or her to succeed by making him or her more like other children in a better economic family
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
The project has been able to reach over 200 marginalized children by providing free education and enabling others to access school supplies. We have also been able to have an evening gathering center for additional lessons and games. The project also managed to bring back 10 girls who had dropped out of school, and started a kindergarten school. The project has also been able to have a group of teenage students who became pregnant as teenagers by teaching them entrepreneurship and encouraging them to move forward.
Sustainability and future plans
The project is looking to drive itself and have its own revenue sources. At the moment we rely on sources from our donors and member fees, We hopes to have a school that caters to marginalized children and those comes from the better economic families. Those in better economic families will pay a school fee. The project will find a variety of partners and stakeholders who will be partnering with us to bring hope to children who are economically disadvantaged. We are using participatory approach to make the project a community asset for the development of children.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
I am a Tanzanian youth over 30 years; I have been involved in solving the challenges facing children for over 8 years. Since graduating from university in the field of international relations, I have been working as volunteer or employed in organizations that involved with helping children especially vulnerable. Issue that excited me to do it was after seeing that any child could do great things and becomes a great person to solve family and societys problems, so I decided to start a project will enable disadvantaged children to do great things based on the God-given talent, society will achieve sustainable development.
