Explain your project in details:
Transparent Advocacy Development Analysis, TADA is a social engagement platform designed to simplify sustainability by making complicated issues in our society easier for everyone to understand. The goal is to create an online hub to further awareness around all global issues including but not limited to Human Rights, Legal Reform, and Ecological Stability. There is a need to increase social engagement, organizational accountability, and access to credible resources. We will accomplish this by building a social media-style platform for users to connect over common values, share their perspective, and learn from one another. TADA will engage our community with meaningful media curated to target specific causes. Similar to Pinterest users can log on, select their preferred topics, then gain factual and entertaining content. Such as podcasts, books, music, TV shows, movies, music, and art. Profiles will allow members to share their inspirations and personal goals. This application will help users learn about how to build a sustainable life. Our mission is to create an environment where people feel comfortable having a constructive conversation beyond bipartisan affiliations. TADA Hub will publish articles that cover multiple perspectives on a wide range of issues. The intent of this site is not to tell people what to think based on our beliefs, but to help people open their minds and consider different points of view. In addition to being an issue-based resource, this platform promotes activists and organizations that are genuinely influencing progress.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
TADA Hub will build a network of Advocates, Artists, and Educators devoted to making a positive impact. While fostering this community, an application will be designed to promote their message and continue the discussion around social, environmental, and economic issues. As our website is in development, we are seeking guidance and the resources to build a team of individuals passionate about sustainability. Our purpose most aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 17 to increase innovation and implementation of all goals through global partnerships. There is a demand to learn about how to improve our society. This educational service was created to help people understand their power to change social norms, learn about important causes, and find ways to make the most of one's ability to influence change. TADA will showcase unique organizations that are impacting user-selected topics. Whether it is fighting for social justice or against economic inequality, people care about values. About two-thirds of consumers prefer purchasing from companies that do good or share a common value. This group will also change their purchasing behavior and avoid organizations that go against their beliefs. Our purchasing power is one of many ways we can make an impact to further sustainable goals. Every day we purchase a wide variety of products needed to sustain our lives. Every item bought has a direct impact that we do not always have the time to thoroughly research. Then by the time, we realize where our influence has gone it is often too late. Each dollar is a vote with a decision that has greater consequences than can be imagined in that initial moment. TADA Hub will allow users to track the causes that matter most to them and the accountability of organizations that influence these issues.
Sustainability and future plans
TADA will begin by promoting sustainable practices to value-driven consumers. These buyers make their purchases based on their beliefs and have an immense opportunity to make a difference. This market is estimated to spend about 150 billion dollars on sustainable products by 2021. Our service assists these individuals in making impactful purchases. This group of conscious consumers is interested in social awareness, personal wellness, protecting the environment, and/or corporate social responsibility. While each issue relates to different generations we will initially target Millennials. Whether you attempt to recycle or commit to a minimal waste lifestyle, we welcome all who are interested in exploring opportunities for sustainable growth. Our timeline starts with the promotion of conscious consumerism and minority-owned small businesses. Online accounts will allow users to access our services and connect to social networks. Advocate accounts are free for members to voice their concerns, follow others for inspiration, support good causes, gain reliable resources, and receive exclusive rewards. All Users will have the right to opt-in for email subscription and to be included in research analytics. TADA will offer a monthly subscription for Activists and Organizations to engage with a values-driven audience. Activist accounts have access to promoting campaigns and hosting online collaborative events. Business accounts will allow organizations to participate in our rewards program and share their commitment to sustainability. Once established, we will offer to consult and help companies adopt practices to support The Triple Bottom Line. Our fundraising to build this platform will begin with crowdfunding. Then TADA will advertise for nonprofit organizations and Certified B corporations. By promoting people and groups making a difference, everyone can learn how to take action in a way that best suits their values.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
Hi, I am Brooke Williams a 26-year-old entrepreneur with a passion for sustainable growth. For the past eight years, I have devoted my career to helping brands increase their exposure and sales with strategic marketing for the hospitality and political industry. While working as a Field Organizer on local campaigns, two problems became evident that led to this organization. The first is a struggle to communicate and engage with those who have opposing views. The second is a lack of awareness and access to credible information. Both lead to misunderstandings of our influence. We all have different definitions of a sustainable future, each with a unique perspective. Transparent Advocacy Development Analysis, TADA is designed with the hopes of helping people relate to different points of view and take action towards furthering social, environmental, and economic growth. This organization was officially founded while studying international business and sustainable development at Spelman College. My drive to achieve such an endeavor comes from my family. If there is one thing we can all agree on, it is that we cannot all agree on most things, especially when it comes to politics. From them, I have learned that our difference in opinions is what makes us unique. Even though we can be on opposing sides of a debate, at our core we share the same values, being the safety and wellbeing of our family. With this in mind, we can appreciate each other's perspective. The ambition to create TADA comes from a necessity to highlight sustainable practices, simplify complex issues, and continue everyday conversations about supporting our communities.
