Explain your project in details:
Patient's Live Saver System has the main aim of saving the patients life using real-time data, and that is why I call it live, how it saves the patients life, the system of recording the patient's data (24/7)e.g.,level of oxygen, heart rate and body temperature and then send the data to the doctor's mobile application so that the doctor will check the patient's condition at any time and anywhere, where it saves a life is when the patient's condition is getting worse, the system will send an alarm to the doctor's application to notify the bad condition of the patient, so the doctor goes to see the patient. In many hospitals right now if the patient's condition gets worse at night it is not easy for the doctor to know it because the doctors are not with the patient all the time. But using this system the relation between the doctor and the patient will be very simpler because the doctor will be receiving the patient's condition all the time. Objectives of the system.(1)Checking the patient's condition all the time- this is very important because it helps to monitor the patient's health.(2)Notifying the doctor when the patient life is at risk - so not only recording the patient's condition but also the system can notify the doctor if at all the patient needs more help when his/her condition gets worse. The whole idea showing the innovation and creativity, for example, the idea of sending an alarm to the doctor, this is a creativity, because I may decide to send the patient's data to the doctor application, but still, the doctor can't check the data all the time, sometimes he/she may be sleeping,so in order to solve this challenge, I decided to introduce a notification/alarm to doctor's application when the patient's condition gets worse.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
Sustainable development can be done or maintained by health people. From the system objectives, the target is to provide instant help to the patient in 24 hrs a week. So the impact of the system on sustainable development is huge because those who can develop that sustainability are healthy people, and the system improves the people's health in one way or another. This project achieved a lot, e.g., while testing the system, the system was able to notify the increase of blood pressure of one of the user/patient who tested the system, and this helped the patient to take a quick reaction and went to see the doctor. The success of this system is measured by checking the number of patients whose data recorded send a notification to the doctor's mobile phone and get instant help from the doctor.
Sustainability and future plans
Until now, I am finding myself to implement the project. After the full implementation of the project, I am expecting to sell the system to different hospitals and provide the system for free to those hospitals which are in rural areas and can't buy the system. What I planned to do is to use a quarter of the money which I shall get from the hospitals who pay for the system, and apply the money to set up the system to hospitals that can't pay to get the system especially in rural areas.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
My name's Nelson Kipengele, 26 years old. I was born and raised in Tanzania, where I studied a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha under the Information and Communication Unity. Now, I am doing online classes with Coventry University of the UK and expect to finish my studies in September 2020, but also I am working with the Right Student Accommodation Company, which is located in the UK as a Software Developer. I worked with Inspired Ideas LLC as an Intern Software Developer. I got a chance to explore a lot about computer technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence, because the company was developing a healthcare software application that was connected to Artificial Intelligence technology. From this point, I saw Software Development from a different angle, and now I am interested in developing software applications which connect to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technology.
