Explain your idea in details:
How it works The idea behind the No Hungry Students Campaign urban farming initiative is that we as South Africans dont need massive areas of land to farm on a sustainable micro level with little or no land. To become a No hungry Students campaign farmer all a person needs to have is a piece of land /yard thats available that will allow us to plant some vegetation and fruit some just contact us with trees or a tree and vegetation that bears at least 5 kg of fruit and at least 1 kg of vegetation per harvest. We intend on having a functionable website, where individuals/schools and cooperatives with land can fill in their contact details and type the number of fruit trees they have or wish to have we buy these fruit and veggies and resell some of our store at selected food stores across the city we also intend to venture in import and export opperatunities
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
To create jobs to curb hunger and poverty
Plans for implementation and sustainability
We have to establish droop off points for eazy collection of goods to help us create a systematic approach and possibly creating more urban farming opportunities.
