Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development

The ideas we should selected for implementation as a venture should be aligned with the challenge of sustainable development. So though our project's main SDG are number 8 and 17 we do not limit those to be implemented to these very goals. Any idea selected may with goals 8 and 17 extend to one or three others.

Plans for implementation and sustainability

The funding we are applying for should be the core financing for our idea implementation. It should help to be seeking for additional funding near angel investors, crowdfunding networks and via social media. Next level should be equity funds and partnership with microfinance institutions and banks in a win-win deal

Your profile

I'm Oscar Séka. I was born on march 12, 1978. So I'm 43 this year. I've got an associate degree in psychology. But I made a career in the field of social entrepreneurship. I've been training and coaching very young entrepreneurs since 2014. I've been promoting the Anzisha Prize in my country (Ivory Coast) for 7 years now. My colts reach the top three of this completion thrice. In 2014 with Ribla Neda, in 2016 with TYEGRO-CI and in 2017 with Volaille d'or. Now I'm looking for partnerships and sponsorships to be implementing the Youth Transition Capital to bring a sustainable solution in tackling the global, continental (Africa) and national issue of high unemployment rate among youth. Seen that some 70 to 80% are jobless in Ivory Coast according to a recent statistics released by the AfDB (African Development Bank). My experience revealed that talented potential young entrepreneurs exist who need to be granted a financial opportunity so they can contribute to jobs creation and reduce significantly unemployment.

This initiative should make a true difference when it comes to developing a new cohort of young entrepreneurs who are challenging the unacceptable high under and unemployment rate affecting their peers and even adults globally. Youth Transition Capital ambitions to create a strong solidarity chain of opportunities serving the interests of both investors and funds seekers. It in the end claims to help all those creative entrepreneurs left behind by the traditional financial services access an original funds to start and be successful with their entrepreneurial journey in the framework of a safe and flexible business ecosystem.
