Explain your idea in details:
Situations have proved it; the world can now just be cured by innovation. Nevertheless, innovators are still very disadvantaged mostly by the lack of good channel of connectivity and information. This Initiative is therefore the solution for innovators who are in darkness and tend to lose their ideas that could really make a positive impact in the developing world. The main Objective is to help innovators bring out their best ideas to the world so they can be productive. We do that by going into the field searching for some ideas that seem innovative, examine them, categorize them, link the developer to a patenting company and get suitable investors.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
By helping innovators, inventors, developers and creatives we will be able to boost development. We have set an equation that is going to be operated with: Innovation+ sustainable partnerships= Development+Entrepreneurship+Industrialisation On that equation lies a way of the future and the path which should be followed by the world to bring about sustainability and ensure that the goals are met in all aspects.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The Organization is non-profit, it is also a financial dependent organization. With that in position, we target companies that support innovation and technology as partners as so they can enter into sponsorship agreements both with our clients and with the Organization itself. The Organization also targets hiring a team of goal driven human resource and not money driven as to ensure that there is total adherence to the meeting of goals than to the achieving of monetary. It is also open for donations from individuals, companies and governments that wish to promote innovation through the Organization. Innovators that get assisted by the Organization are asked to give a return of about 10% of the benefits they get from the ideas to the Organization so it can continue running its functions and assist more innovators. There is also a provision of proposals for producing innovation resources and learning materials so that they are sold to keep the petty expenses to balance.
I am 20 years of age, and the love of science and seeing change is something that I have grown with. In 2014 I started a study on electrical energy after observing something interesting about a cooling fan. In 2017 I finally concluded my study and named my invention "The Shepherd Energy Saver" and received an official record of Invention from Montgomery Patent and Services, USA. The project is currently under patent procession with Davison Patents still in the USA, though I am considering transferring the patent to the local institution (BIPA) for patenting then will proceed thereafter with Davison in getting a trademark and license. After having fought through tough situations in getting my idea to get to the working and implementing phase I came to learn that in Namibia there is a very serious situation of negligence in terms of handling of creative content. With that observation I decided to start a Non-Profit Organization to fill that gap. I am also a science student at Botho University studying for a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management, I am also at the University of Namibia studying for Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with Applicational Biomedical. I am also writing 2 books and 1 which I have completed and only still saving up for publication costs. The completed book is an anthology of poetry that I compiled, the other 2 in writing one is a motivational book, and the other is sci-fi. Last year I also won the UNDP Covid-19 Creativity Challenge with an artistic awareness writing titled Caution to survive.
