Regional Coding School

Explain your idea in details:
We want to create a company that will have a social and solidarity component, offering free learning on digital professions in Cameroon with a focus on the CEMAC sub-region. The learning method envisaged is an active and project-based pedagogy where the learner is confronted with concrete situations through individual and group projects. The projects submitted to the learners respond to the aspirations of national and international companies. Our goal is to enable the talents of today to become the best developers of tomorrow and thus facilitate their socio-professional integration.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
In Cameroon, as in several countries of sub-Saharan Africa, there is a strong mismatch between academic training and the needs of the economy. Our ambition is to offer several targets (young people, professionals, companies, etc.) high-level training, in order to allow CEMACs, but also the continent to truly enter the digital world. Several schools train engineers, who unfortunately have difficulty with computer basics, such as coding. It is like in several other fields, in particular in the civil engineering where, there is a lack if not the inexistence of masons, tilers. Concretely our regional coding school will allow: - facilitate the professional integration of young people - reduce poverty - give companies, professionals well trained on programming To measure our results, we will have some performance indicators: - Number of people trained and integrated or having created their own company - Number of companies requesting the expertise of the structure - Number of partners mobilized after the third year of activity
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The implementation plan is broken down into the following points: - Finalization of the economic model and the Business Plan - Obtaining national approvals with the administrations concerned - Finalization of the action plan for the first three years - Prospecting and selection of candidates for the first phase Regarding the sustainability of the project, the training will be almost free for young people (with annual vintages of 30 learners), but for training for professionals, the training will be paid. Also, services rendered to businesses will be invoiced. This in order to allow the project to live by its own resources.
Your profile
My name is NDI MBERE Noé I am 36 years old. I am an economist and business advisor. I worked in an employers' organization, as manager of a capacity building unit. My motivation comes from the fact that many young people engage in dangerous activities, in Cameroon as in the entire CEMAC sub-region, for lack of opportunity or discouragement. Digital offers an infinite universe of opportunities, only populations continue to position themselves just as end consumers. My academic and professional background gives me enough elements to measure social indicators and make a contribution to solving society's problems. I am an expert certified by the International Labor Office (ILO) on entrepreneurial issues.

When it comes to learning to code, there is already a wealth of high-quality knowledge and resources available for free on the internet. Furthermore, both offline and online, there are a number of communities that provide free mentoring and guidance to students who want to pursue a professional career in this field. How can your concept stand out and benefit students in your region more effectively in this situation?
Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. Success is not final, failure is not fatal, It is the courage to continue that counts.
Your idea is very smart and practical.

Awesome Idea, I think such a training should be spread to another field (carpenter, house builder etc.) Because sub-sahara Africa is lacking expertises on those field. SO i would like you to add as action plan a spreading of such learning to those fields
