This idea aims: 1. Globally wants to promote access to drinking water of sufficient quality and quantity in order to improve the living conditions of the populations and contribute to socio-sanitary progress in the city of Kamanyola in South Kivu in DR. Congo 2. Facilitate access to drinking water of sufficient quality and quantity in water environments by strengthening and developing a source to improve the living conditions of the populations and contribute to socio-sanitary progress in the city of Kamanyola in the South. -Kivu in DR. Congo. To achieve the objectives, this project / idea focuses on the following activities: 1. Identify the causes of insufficient access to sufficient water in Kamanyola; 2. Organize capacity building sessions for beneficiaries in water treatment techniques, source protection and site development in the city of Kamanyola in South Kivu in DR. Congo; 3. Organize an awareness campaign for the local participation of communities and facilitate the start-up of activities to strengthen the source of drinking water in the city of Kamanyola in South Kivu in DR. Plans for implementation and sustainability

The implementation of this project will be led by ICPEDH in the city of Kamanyola. In this regard, ICPEDH will work in close collaboration with a local committee for the rational management of water sources and distribution. This committee will be strengthened in capacity, will have the direct task of carrying out activities throughout the project area. This local committee constitutes a solid mechanism for the appropriation and sustainability of project activities in the course, medium and long term. However, ICPEDH will have the task of: Setting up and coordinating the activities of the project in the city of Kamanyola, South Kivu, in DR. Congo; Monitor the activities of the focal points on a monthly basis for the continuity and ownership of awareness-raising, installation, tracing and distribution of water, then sanction this monitoring with monthly pooling sessions and production of monitoring reports to be submitted to the partner of support for project activities; Carry out mid-term evaluations to work around any difficulties that have arisen The beneficiaries of the project will be grouped into a local rational water management committee in the city of Kamanyola, South Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
