My name is Davis Kivairo Chore, I am 28 years old, a medical laboratory technologist currently pursuing MSc in Healthcare Management. During my 5 years of experience in the medical field, I realized many health providers and consumers lacked adequate information on health accessibility, availability, and affordability. This led to misinformation leading to delayed diagnosis, over-expenditure in health, or even misdiagnosis on patients. Although the quality of service delivery had improved, many patients lacked the correct link to better, quality, and affordable health services and products. By providing health insights, education, promotion, and linkages between health providers and consumers will enable early detection of non-communicable diseases and help prevent more than 80 percent of community infections and diseases.
