Explain your idea in details:
The central idea of my future project is to unite technology, innovation, and development. An app in which several women will have access to opportunities (contests, courses, lectures...) and share experiences and advice. Moreover, the main goal of this idea is to promote female emancipation and gender equality, helping in the process of building empowered and innovative women and leaders willing to change the world. Because it is so broad and has so much potential, it is possible to adapt several other projects to the ideals of this project. Some of the plans for the future are to promote Edu4Her's associations with language schools, exchange agencies, Olympic knowledge committees, NGOs on empowerment... Another very striking feature of the idea of this app is to connect people with different life contexts, highlighting the importance of diversity, empathy and respect for differences.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Some of our goals are to enable women to enter the job market and to make girls aware of their strength and abilities. In addition, we aim to train leaders who can change the world and integrate people from different backgrounds into a very diverse community. We also intend to get young people more motivated to study through just one platform. The biggest goal is to get global visibility and create a very large and broad community with no fixed or pre-established measurements. In Brazil there is a saying "the more, the better". In addition, the intention is to realize the plans for the future mentioned earlier and ways to analyze the success of the project are to create forms for the participants, do opinion polls, create and analyse graphs about the development of the participants and the content they are accessing and some other things
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Besides the ideas already mentioned, in order to make the project more comprehensive and complete, I am looking for partnerships with exchange agencies, language schools, NGOs and perhaps strong women for interviews or special lectures. There are no ideas of collaborators yet, but the promotion of the app can occur through social media and the internet, which will certainly attract audiences, funders, financial sources... It is important to keep in mind that it is an idea to be developed that is still very early, but has a lot of potential
My name is Ana Vitória Lamounier and I am 14 years old. My most precious assets are my family and books. I was born and grew up in Brazil and I can be considered a privileged citizen, because not all Brazilians have access to health, education, and sometimes not even to food. Since I was very young I have participated in competitions at school. I am very competitive and love to challenge myself, besides having the motto of the 3 D's (discipline, dedication, and determination), which lead me and my actions. At the age of 11 I got a scholarship in a private school and there I started to develop and create social projects, besides starting to believe in education as the basis for anything. This is my motivation. To bring education into people's daily lives and help them see their potential. Besides, I am a young woman and I know how the traditional society sometimes tries to control our actions. My goal is, in a gentle and efficient way, to help break these paradigms and enable the ascension of women in the job market, in more political positions, as well as to promote sorority. In 2021, with the pandemic, different opportunities arose and new doors opened for me, so I had a game project approved and chosen as one of the 20 best in Brazil by the Change the Game championship, in partnership with Google, besides being a finalist in a math competition in one of the best colleges in the country and in the National Chemistry Olympiad! Seeing my development as a person who aims for success and getting closer to it every day is very rewarding, and I would love to be able to provide the same for other young people and women around the world.
