Explain your project in details:

I want to place computers at Rural schools starting with 2 schools at a time. Where each learner will pay an amount of N$20 per year, and after 5 years the computers will belong to the school. The main objective is to assist rural schools not to just heavily rely on handbooks, but give an opportunity for learners to research on different topics related to their subjects and this is under the UNDP sustainable development goal. The money gathered will be used to establish computers at others school, not a waiting after 5 years but as soon as the money is enough to buy other computers, 50 computers per school, than the computers will belong to the school..

Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development

With this project being implemented at Namibian Rural Schools. Its an opportunity to reduce the access to Information Communication Technology (ICT) gap between rural and urban schools. most of the learners in urban schools have access to computers in variety way, siblings who are at university, community library and computer centers, so they can go search on the topics of their choice in term of education to enhance their knowledge while learners from rural schools, the fact that there is no computer labs at their schools, it goes down in the community there is nothing like computer center or community library for them to research on the internet and get soft copies of information on subjects they don't understand or want to know better. With our project we will facilitate ICT development in rural schools in Namibia so as to increase access, equality and equity in education for sustainable rural development in Namibia. "an educated community is the best community to live in" There is a high possibility of the project to grow rapidly as we have no competitor. And there is no project that ever existed in Namibia like this unless in future it will arise. The fact that the computers will belong to the school after a period of 5 years is another advantage. As we will fix the computers and replace that need replacement than we give it in the hands of the school management team to continue as it belong to them now no longer for the company. Another possibility is that the government is now having financial setbacks so this platform will be a hand in meeting the government half way.

Sustainability and future plans

Its a project of two partners, I'm the founder and I have a colleague who will assist me to ensure this project get started soonest. Placement of computers at schools in rural areas where tutoring of learners will commence. there will be maintenance of those computers after every two months by the management as we are both in the department of IT. we will buy desktop computers from a trustworthy supplier that will guarantee us with reasonable price and quality Desktop computers. we will ensure that the tutor is one of the best, one with not just skilled in the subject of IT but with character and behavior straight as she/he will set an example of us at that specific school where our computers will be set. For the start up we will use a borrowed capital from a bank, that will be enough to buy 100 computers for two schools as a start up and to buy few items needed such as Air corn, tables and chairs. This project will sustain itself, there will be no need of a second loan, and the maintains of the computers will be done by the two partners (founder and colleague) as the founder is a 3rd year IT student and the colleague is a Computer scientist graduate. The money that will come in will be saved up and used to order computers for the next rural school as they are so many of them tat need this service. There will also be a computer center on after every 3rd village for the non-school going community members who need to learn computer skills. We will also begin ordering laptops and sell out to those who need it for personal uses and will be on a reasonable price with no lose made.

This is a great initiative, keep it up! It is unfavorable that these opportunities aren't normally offered in the classroom so organizations must provide them.
Good luck !

The important thing is not being afraid to take a chance. Remember, the greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it.

Your project is amazing!
