Explain your project in details:

The purpose of the project is to advocate for the urbanization process of rural areas in China. The widening gap between the rural and urban areas have posed stark resources imbalance and amounts of migrant workers. The project upholds the idea that takes the talents urbanization as the core, consolidate the prop-up industry, boost the transition from traditional urbanization to the new modernization track typical of intensive, smart, green and low-carbon features. The project adheres to the guideline of common prosperity and balanced development, ensuring public service and resources universally benefit the rural and urban areas. The project assert to absorb local residents back to their home village to have decent work opportunities at their neighborhood, building new and vibrant homeland, encouraging balanced and coordinated development. The division and boundary between the city and the rural is not embodied in the decent income, broad medical care, high education quality, refined infrastructure, spacious housing and cosy living environment, which consists of the basic welfare of every citizen. Balanced development embraces persists not only between the rural and the urban areas, but also between developed areas and thee underdeveloped areas in the village, which is the requisite to resource allotment and infrastructure reconstruction.

Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development

The project will be committed to the sustainable goal: No Poverty. Up to the end of 2018, 70% houses of the villages in China are vacant or merely sheltering the elders and kids, as their annual revenue from farming can only keep a basic living. Limited education resources, isolated transportation and backward sanitation condition has impeded the village development and caused the long-lasting poverty. The intensive and smart urbanization will lead the village to explore exclusive resources, build specialty industry and develop patent product and technique. The green and low-carbon urbanization requirement will preserve the village from pollution and degradation toward extensive growth model. The project is coherent with the goal of Quality Education. The urbanization will advocate for sufficient fiscal commitment to teaching facilities and faculty treatment. The kids will be guaranteed to accept complete compulsory education in their hometown and reached the academic eligibility to apply for higher education. Quality education is the critical step to break the vicious cycle, a closed cycle that intercepts all the possibilities for the better, as kids born from the rural families tend to drop out at teenagers age, depart for the metropolitan factory, and take up trivial low-end work, settling at the margin of the urban. They have no solid intelligence and edgy technique that help them to exalt to higher social caste. Quality education exactly plays the decisive place to enable the youngsters born from the village to get rid of the constraints generated by their background, as quality education fosters inspiration, shapes broad vision, enriches the mind and creates entire change to the personality.

Sustainability and future plans

Our project will illustrate how the specialty industry chain helps absorb talents and increase permanent residents, how the automation and technology innovation boosts productivity and tolerance of the rural areas. We will spread basic knowledge and cognition on the policies, benefits and subsidies the government is extending to strengthen the construction of new village and boost rural urbanization process. We will conduct in-depth surveys on the topography, industrialized level, folk arts and crafts of the village to help explore the exclusive highlight. We will motivate local private enterprises and non-profit organizations to join in the project and develop their advantages in the connections and influences. We will reach out for the education administration to post our suggestion on enhancing rural education quality. We will push out the plan to the authority and local village regarding a range of subjects from reconstruction of lavatory, sewage disposal, planning of recreation places, to the medical care reform. We will bond the cooperation between the developed city and underdeveloped ares to foster exchange and collaboration. We will spread the awareness on low-carbon and clean energy actions, as well as water recycle and the discrimination of recycled garbage and harmful garbage disposal. Therefore, the implementation of the project involves villagers and neighboring citizens as well as related authority and an array of stakeholders. The rural areas are exuberant with all sorts of an expanse of sustainable farmland, plantation, living stocks and mineral resources, which will definitely foster a booming economy, after the areas are scenically planned and well developed. The rejuvenation of rural areas will raise employment rate, boost economic growth and reward the support of all stakeholders. After the widening gap between the village and urban is eradicated, the pressures stemmed from traffic, housing, employment, to resource shortage and labor force squeeze will be alleviated.

Your profile as an entrepreneur

I am Wei Xiaojia, currently a sophomore student from UCI. I have studied the entire urbanization course of US over two months. Its not until mid 19th century influenced by the industrial revolution, that the industrialized steps began to apparently sped up in US, which subverted original urban landscape, driving up the urban population ratio up to 28.2% from 8.8% in 1830. With the benefits of trolley car powered by the second industrial revolution, the proportion of urban population attained 51.4% in 1920. Compared with the US urbanization course, Chinas rural shift implies distinct Chinese characteristics. The industrial revolution failed to ripple through the isolated village. To make a better living, the villager with labor capacity generally headed for the metropolis for sake of more income, excellent living environment and massive working opportunities. For all the inconvenience and discrimination, many migrant workers tend to move the whole family to the metropolis after they have the ability to make a stable living there. However, the household registration system has imposed a range of problems barring migrant workers from due welfare and social securities. Therefore, the project is designed to conduct in-depth probing into the barriers to the rural urbanization track, and work out the solution to the long lasting problem.
