So many times we have depended on the countries outside Africa for development and research and discoveries, but now with the idea of Gorilla where we would be able to advance Africa's technology, research, and business. Gorilla is a system that is built to help scientists and boost technology in Africa, where we even have our own server host to help application developers emerging from Africa to host and sell their apps, and companies or individuals save their information on the cloud (Africa cloud system). Our objective is to move away from being dependent on the European systems and technology when we can create our own. We so often cry about the internet being slow or being hacked, even our info being sold to some companies or people we don't know this is because we don't own systems and technology that we can secure in our own way and help our own people in science, technology, and education. Another objective is to create a window of opportunities and creativity in the innovation sector, where developers have a platform to save their work locally and be active to develop their own OS, apps & systems. Gorilla gives an opportunity to create a platform where we can store information locally (cloud storage) and is accessed at any time and this will even help with scientific research and innovation. My approach is to create it in phases where first we create the cloud storage/server host to help developers and companies save information or apps locally. Secondly, we create supercomputers to help in scientific research, innovation, and development Gorilla offers digital solutions that improve corporate profitability and provide in-depth business performance analysis easily and efficiently. Our mission is to guide our co-operates through their journey by delivering innovative, creative, and research solutions.

Africa doesn't have a supercomputer, something that helps us solve problems or development. This gives us a chance to create our own system and storage where we can save data in Africa and have our own developments in Africa. This will impact scientific researches to help with medical discoveries, tech innovation, and the development of applications. I am 34 years old, from 2005 l fell in love with technology to advance and impact our African continent and businesses. For so long we have depended on the outside discoveries or technology to advance ours in Africa but what if we design a system or technology of our own that might save us in the way we want it and have our info protected here locally. This helps us, individuals, co-operates, and medical labs to advance their research, applications, and software. We have the resources and education to build this kind of system. It saddens me to see our international systems that have been built with the help of our brothers and sisters from here. What if we corporate to build this kind of system that can put Africa on the map, create our discoveries, and host applications and information (cloud storage).

Your intent to develop an African based server is a lofty idea. Not many think of this and when they do, it seems impossible to implement. I will vote for your idea to pass into the final stage.
