Local Government with Osvaldo Joao.

Stage of Idea planning stage

Explain your idea in details:

My ideia seeks to address the lack of proper information about Local Government. Local Government is the the new process that our country (Angola) will implement in 2022 which is the implementation of the Local Government for the first time in the history of Angola. My team will do everything to ensure that people from my communities are aware of this process and that they are kept up to date on what Local Government is and the benefits that this implementation will bring to the people in our communities and in general for all of us. The objective is to make everyone to understand the advantages that local government can bring to a country as being the foundation to larger national government functionality and to make sure the next generation of Angolan youth are inspired by what can be done and are given tools to become productive, capable and successful countrymen. One example is to create systems to make sure children have access to clean water and food. I am committed to achieving very significant goals with this project because people in my country, especially those with communication difficulties, have to be able to be described what Local Authorities is, what advantages and disadvantages this process has for people, and what can be expected from Angola with the implementation of this process.

Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development

This project will be appropriately done to support all people to be integrated into local authorities due to the fact that it is currently noted that the government has not provided this information in a broader and in more active way around the population, especially those people who live in rural areas and with great difficulty in accessing radios and televisions to be adequately informed about it. I'm going to create a group of 4 people among which is me Osvaldo João as an Analyst at Local Authorities and I will be the presenter of the program and in turn I will be dealing with the issues of educating all those people who don't know about this process. There will also be a cameramen who will help with the filming, someone who will work on editing the videos, and finally, someone who will work with the media who will post these videos to the general public, both nationally and internationally. With the initiative of this project I believe that I would be contributing to my community in terms of educating those who know little about the implementation process of the local authority and also want those who do not have access to powerful TV and Radio channels to be appropriately informed about these issues. As an Angolan, I feel that I must share the knowledge I have in this matter because I believe that this opportunity will be one of the most viable ways to help in my country.

Plans for implementation and sustainability

The partner I identified and confirmed is a business mentor called Inene dos Santos. As the project deals with a creation of an online Tv channel he will help me by offering a venue where we will have debates and interview some people about local government matters. He will also help us with the processes of the creation of the online platform where we will be posting our contents like edited videos and etc educating our communities and province about the new process that our country will experience for the first time in the history which is the implementation of Local Government in 2022. With me being the Tv presenter I will do everything to ensure that these young people are fully informed about this, and it will be a great honor for us. In addition to that, there is someone very interested in helping me with this project, and I believe that this will be a very fundamental piece for the success of this project. I will have one of the great Business Mentors of Angola, who will support me with everything necessary for this project to prosper in the coming years.
