The Dirt Solution aims mainly to help protect environments from hazardous plastics waste, this will help secure healthy environment. The plastics are collected, managed properly, reused and recycled into eco-brick and pavers.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
1. Economic Impact - Extreme Reduction of Waste Removal Cost. Removing waste in our communities, streets, etc. are expensive. This allows dwellers to improperly mange waste. Our involvement creates drastic reduction in waste removal cost. - Stimulates Good Economy Recycling makes serious economic impact, it empowers the young generation. The Dirt Solution works with determine young people, especially females for job empowerment. 2. Environmental Impact The desperate call for action to assist in making environment very healthy has become more alarming and urgent. We are very effective in reducing the pollution caused by plastic waste in the environments.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The Dirt Solution operates as social enterprise to help reduce plastic waste and recycle into eco-bricks and pavers. These eco-bricks and pavers are sold for low price to create business sustainability. We are established to contribute in solving social problem. With this, 50% out of the profits are reinvested into solving social problem. We also strive for grant as a mean of sustainability.
I am Emment Kou, a Liberian, graduated from the St. Michael Catholic High School, located New Georgia, Gardnersville. I was born January 7, 1992, age 30yrs, live in a small community called Iron Factory, Block "C". I have strived as a young boy, pursing with high courage for life's success. I am the vision bearer for Dirt Solution, I have the courage of turning this idea into company, that helps empower young generation and create solutions to social problem. I presently run a social charity group since 2018, called Empowerment Network Work Liberia. This group seeks to help promote quality education and hunger reduction. As a boy coming up in high school, my parents could not afford much, they strived to see me out of high school, due to this, I am yet to achieve my first degree. My story builds my courage to keep pursing, and makes me compassionate about helping the less fortunate. I am self supported, studying Information Technology, Network Engineering at the BlueCrest University, Liberia, AA Degree. My greatest hope and that I live for each day, is to see the entire world live happily and have a equal living.
