Teaching in Lions/ Jang HyeonJeong
Explain your idea in details:
This project is for equality education and poverty. Those who pass the teacher certification examination or enter a college of education and department of education go to Africa and teach young children in tents whose shape is lions. After these people do it for 1 to 2 years, they are serviced food and some money during this project. They also receive additional points and service points about the job market. The children have profits that receive clean water, medicines, electricity, clothes, food, etc. The reason which we do it in tents is that we reduce the money used to build schools so as to buy many things to need for Africans.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
I think my idea impacts Poverty and Equality Education. If I continue this project, almost every African can be taught by my project team. Africans who are taught will have a stable jobs. After a few years, Africa's poverty is decreased.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
First, Recruit those who passed the teacher certification examination or enter a college of education and department of education and want to take part in my project. Raise money through fundraising activities so that we buy what we need for them. Second, our project team goes to Africa with things to give them which are clean water, medicines, electricity, clothes, food, etc. We teach children in Africa in tents whose shape is lions. Third, We do it for about 1 year and will ask to help support our government's business or be supported by organizations like UNICEF and World Vision. Lastly, we continue to do this project until All Africans can go to school and be taught well.
I'm 17 and a high school student. The motivation is the video which is about the Solar Cow project. After watching the video, I reminded myself that Africans had taught less than people in developed countries. So I want to help them in the way that we teach them.
