SHED OF LIFE
Explain your idea in details:
My project aims at equipping youth with disabilities with necessary skills that are required to do some of the jobs like art making or simple jobs where they too can earn their living. Due to covid-19 pandemic and outbreak of Russia-Ukraine war, the inflation rose and different aids and donations to be given to people with disabilities decreased due to disorder in the economy subjecting people with disabilities to the poverty line and missing out on different opportunities. as my country Rwanda is also a developing country, it is struggling to develop these days but as a certain group of people with disabilities they arent productive enough to facilitate sustainable development and it can be a good timing to move forward all of us taking part in the development of our country and the world at large. This organization will help lives of people with disabilities will promote self reliance inclusion and sustainable development for the disabled through giving them skills needed for jobs. The problems to be addressed are: *poverty, dependence syndrome which leads to begging; most of the people with disabilities are not productive not because they can't but because they know not how Lack of self esteem : Many disabled people lack self love or self esteem due to they feel incapable. Exclusion: disabled people are often excluded in the development of their societies because they are thought to be unable to contribute. my first objective: ---To help people with disabilities to get equipped with skills and TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (TVET) PROGRAMMES for earning their own income, where will even create a workplace to apply those skills and programs above in our organization. my second objective: ---To acquire people with disabilities with literacy skills and Mobility aids.
