Explain your idea in details:
I wish to use waste materials particularly single use plastic covers, plastic shopping bags, wafers of all household items from salt to surf, plastic bottles, Thermocol clothes, decolam waste, paste tubes, tooth brushes etc., all the waste what we produce in our daily life, as raw materials to make beautiful gifts. I wish to awaken more and more people in this issue, and train them to adopt zero waste management in their daily life so the effect would be more positive on the Environment. In the coming future I wish add some of my other ideas to this venture and make it as a brand ambassador or just like an ISI mark for the protection of Environment by converting waste into wealth. So I wish to grow it as a social Enterprise. I wish to sell the products made by waste materials. In my point of view there is no waste material in this world, unless we throw it as useless. So I wish to use all these waste materials like single used plastic covers, plastic bottles, thermocol, clothes, plastic shopping bags etc., as starting materials to make beautiful gift items. Through this Samrudhi W2W, I wish to employ some people to increase their family income and live with self respect. By awakening more and more people to adopt zero waste management as their life- style the effect would be more positive on Environment. I wish to become a brand ambassador for environmental protection & reduction of pollution throughout the world. This is my vision for the coming five years. Gift your future generations full of love & Joy but not the waste filled Earth and Space. This is the mission of this venture.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
As India would stand in first place in largest waste producing countries by 2030-2050, we are in an unavoidable situation to solve this problem. So by converting this flaw (waste) into a positive direction, we can increase the income of many low/middle class families in a dignified way. So to start this venture, I think this is the right time.In my point of view there is no waste material in this world, unless we throw it as useless. The government organizations, NGOs, corporate sectors who working on waste management, environment protection can use our service or products. I think there is no scarcity of raw materials and human forces in any area so it must be a sustainable business. By making customized gifts we can attract more people. The online gifting industry is one of the contributors to the growth of Indian e- commerce space and is set to take a larger pie in the overall market in the coming future. The global gifting market is estimated to be $475 billion, and India is expected to emerge as one of the most influential contributors by 2024.India is all set to jump from the current online gifting market of $65 million to $84 billion by 2024. by grabbing at least 25-50% of this gifting market we can make wonders towards saving Environment by reducing waste accumulation.
