My company, Chia Tech Solutions & Resources Limited (RC1839) has developed an Entrepreneurship and Vocational training institute to help aspiring and existing entrepreneurs gain cost effective training and quality support for capacity building and acquisition of critical skills that will enhance creativity, self employment and job creation using digital techniques. We compete in the growing education and training market which is estimated at USD7billion value market. We are similar to conventional educational institutions but we combine practical and digital approaches of training which captures the interest of instructors and motivation from trainee entrepreneurs. Currently we have two functional departments for ICT and animal husbandry training. We are looking for funding to install equipment, procure tools, acquire human additional human resources and structures as well as adopt best technologies for training while also producing and marketing valuable products from each of our functional departments.

We have long played an important role in the provision of pathways to further learning or employment, as well as providing second chance learning opportunities for people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Engaging and helping the youths to be self-employed thereby creating zero interest for social vices. Serving as an alternative for youths who could not further their education due to financial and other constraints. Noise pollution during operation of our machinery. Our workshops and power plants need to be properly positioned. The above impacts were measured using the project-specific approach based on verification of additionality.

CHIATECH ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER (CEVTC) is an initiative o that seeks to provide practical Entrepreneurship & vocational Training based on digital techniques aimed at enhancing managerial capacities in Trainee Entrepreneurs. The fundamental methodology is a combination of the demonstration & learner centered approaches. Trainee entrepreneurs are mentored to establish their businesses and become self-employed after graduation. Establishment of diverse departments and vocations to always capture/match students interest. We are expanding to cover ICT, Electrical and Electronics, Telecommunication, Agriculture and Agro-allied processing, Catering and Event Management, Welding and Fabrication, Animal Husbandry, Carpentry, Cosmetics, Entertainment and creative industry, Fashion and Dress making. Again, Quality training delivery ensures that we build a loyal customer base. We are currently working closely with colleges, Polytechnics and Universities within the North central zone to attract undergraduate students to take part-time courses in our center. We want to drive sales via the output of our jobs and via referral from our satisfied students. We are quite aware of how satisfied students drive business growth especially businesses like vocational school & training centers and related services. Also, we are spreading the word about our services through paid ads in print and electronic media channels. The online space is not being left out either. strategically located and we are going to maximize the opportunities that is available which is why we spent more to locate the business where it will be visible and accessible to our target market. Our sales and marketing team will be recruited based on their vast experience in the industry and they will be trained on a regular basis so as to be well equipped to meet their targets. Most importantly, we are seeking adequate funding to finance acquisition of teaching and learning facilities to maximize our efficiency and reliability.

Born on 28th June, 1986 (36 years) in Benue State (Food basket) of Nigeria, CHIA SHIAONDO KENNETH is a graduate of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and holds a Master of Engineering in Digital Electronics and computers engineering with a post graduate Diploma in Vocational and Technical Education. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and has over 10 years experience in ICT and business administration. The CEO-Chia Tech Solutions and Resources Ltd, Chia Agro Products; President, Chiatech Multipurpose Cooperative Society has undergone several entrepreneurship and business management trainings, seminars, workshops and has published several articles in reputable local and international journals. The founder; Chiatech Entrepreneurship and Vocational Training Center was one of the national winners for Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (YouWin) 2017.
