Best Ideas 2016
My group and I have come up with an idea which helps to use a source of water which people rarely use, rainwater. Rainwater comes in large quantities every time there is a down pour. This water is never used due to its un-hygienic properties. The product which we have designed will make use of this water by filtering and storing it for people to drink. Our lamp post is designed with its own power source by using the solar panel which is mounted high up. The solar panel is used to charge the onboard battery power supply, which will then be used to power up lights and two sensors which detect light intensity and presence of water. The moisture sensor enables two barriers to come out, which helps to direct water into a hole connecting to the water filtration system and then onto the containment tank. From the containment tank, a faucet will be placed outside so as to let people fill up their water bottles. The product can be placed at the sides of pathways. It also provides shade for people to escape the hot sunlight. A key feature we have implemented into our design is the interchangeable water filter. This filter is designed to function like cartridges making it easy to be replaced. We intend to make this product a type of solution to the water crisis the third world countries face today. By placing our product along pathways, it can provide lighting for people during the night time and provides clean, filtered and drinkable water to people which do not have easy access to a source of clean water.
nnovative solar-powered water purification system that offers practical,portable,off-grid and easy to use units to provide sustainable and affordable access to safe water.Consuming contaminated water leads to sickness and mortality through waterborne diseases and decreases local employment in the community as women and children spend hours collecting potable water instead of working.Clean technology venture most affordable and environmentally friendly method of water purification on the marketts a social entreprise with a hybrid model initiative that combines social responsibility, sustainability, bussiness strategy and technological perspective. Its aims at empowering organisations and individuals through water and sanitation social Innovation affordable and accessible solutions to water and sanitation challenges in the developing world. Agriculture forms the backbone of the Benue State economy, engaging about 70 per cent of the working population. The State is a major producer of yams, rice, sesame, soybean, sorghum, maize, guinea corn, beans, cassava, groundnuts and fruits in Nigeria. Unfortunately, about 30% of grains, 50% of roots and tubers and a high percentage of fruits and vegetables produced are lost after harvest. These huge losses occur because Benue farmers lack; a. Communication with buyers, b. Coordination of the market, c. Efficient marketing systems, d. Storage techniques and knowledge. My idea, Agroalley, a comprehensive web and mobile-based communication and management platform for agribusinesses will use the internet, cell phone-based SMS services and USSD Codes as an extension/market information provider to link agricultural actors (farmers, agro-processors, consumers) to discover agribusiness opportunities, learn best practices and link farmers to sustainable structured markets even before harvest. Harvested and untreated agricultural produce deteriorates within 24-72 hours. Most value chain actors require freshly harvested produce as raw material. AgroAlley intends to connect these actors within 72 hours through; a. Efficient communication between consumers/producers to reduce search/transaction time b. Linking farmers to value chain actors c. Dissemination of research output/information AgroAlley when implemented will; a. Reduce post-harvest loss of crops b. Enable quick uptake of produce from smallholder farmers c. Guarantee increased return on investment rather than loss of product. In extreme cases where traders do not have money, AgroAlley will provide a barter section for direct exchange of the farmers’ produce for purchaser’s goods/services. Users with smart devices and internet can get information on: prices of produce, services, farm input, produce location and extension services on AgroAlley. Users without Smart devices will be provided with USSD Codes where a dial to a certain USSD Code will provide the same information found by smart devices.
The use of using the air-conditioning to cool down the room uses too much electricity. It is not necessary to cool down the whole room when the person is sleeping. So why not just cool down only your bed ? Smaller volume requires lesser electricity to cool down. Many tropical countries is warm and humid even it is at night. So our this idea will save electricity and at the same time provide comfort while the person is sleeping. The objective of the project is build a \"cool-cocoon\" bed that can be easily installed and folded when not in used. The total consumption of the power used is only about 20% as compare to cooling down whole room. The structure of this \"Cool-cocoon\" is designed in the way it is very suitable for use in the room too.
Our main goal for the SRVR platform is to make information on service opportunities available to anyone with access to a smartphone. This will simultaneously enable willing volunteers to take advantage of more service opportunities as well as service partners to overcome the major obstacle of organizing events and finding enough volunteers. SRVR is unique as it will provide many more opportunities to help communities at large, in comparison with other applications that only cater to a single organization or global issue. SRVR’s immediate outcome will be matching of skills that are available within a certain community, with available social and community service opportunities in that area (e.g. Matching of skills with needs for medical/dental camps in remote areas; teaching financial literacy to poor communities). The program essentially aims to connect passionate individuals with like minded organizations to ensure a positive impact in any community. Most organizations utilize websites over applications as they are better suited for their needs. However, studies show that 85% of consumers prefer mobile applications to websites, as they tend to be more convenient and easier to navigate. SRVR allows for direct communication between volunteers and organizations, with access to a wide range of service projects. Any necessary information about such projects, human resource and other requirements, profile of beneficiaries, and other community specific data can be easily accessed through SRVR rather than navigating large websites or waiting to gain access permissions. The greatest feature of SRVR is that it is a mobile platform that channelizes good-will that is available in all communities/societies, for the benefit of the needy. It will promote sustainable and optimal use of human and financial resources within and across communities or geographic areas in any country. SRVR will be a great public-private partnership for promoting sustainable development.
One of the concerns of motorists is the visibility on the road when it is raining. Some of the road accidents happen because drivers can’t see the road divider line due to the heavy rain. There has to be a way for the drivers to see the road divider when it is raining heavily. We hope to aid the drivers by making a device which is able to sense rain which will then trigger the circuit to turn on the LED. It will be an improvement to the already existing road dividers which only reflects the light coming from the car’s headlight. In addition to that, we want to pursue a more energy-saving method which is solar power, a clean energy source. The road dividers will have a rain sensor (especially design by us) attached to it so that when there is rain the rainwater will connect the circuit and the LEDs will turn on. The circuit (in the road divider) will be connected to the nearby streetlights (via underground wires).
\"Label your food\" is an idea for an application that could be easily be downloaded on any iPhone or Android phone and tablet. Its main objective is to help people understand chemical substances that are commonly found on food labels (e.g. ascorbic acid), what those substances do and whether they could be harmful. With this application an individual does not have to be a chemist to know whether something written in the label of a product has any side effects. The main idea is to use technology in order to better people\'s understanding of the food that they consume and for example the preservatives that it contains. An innovative approach of the app is the fact that the format of the application leaves room for further interaction with the public, with people sending substances that they come across that are not included in the database in order for us to update it. In the future a database with products that are found in the supermarket and their labels might even be available, creating the opportunity for someone to make his shopping list taking into consideration what his products of choice contain.
Internet advancement is on the rising trend today. With 70% of the world population not having proper access to internet, these villagers who are only recently introduced to this new tool are not as proficient in it, which is a huge handicap since technology incites the growth of economy. The mass of villagers have great handicraft skills that can only be appreciated by people if they ever travel to these villages. The amount of sales generated is subjected to human traffic fluctuation. Creating a website is an intuitive process for us. The villagers can then share their concept and creativity to make it their own. Additionally, they would be embedded with the knowledge of maintaining the website and the resources needed to improve in the ever expanding market. Leverage on our expertise of SEO – Search Engine Optimization that helps to bring any website created to be seen on the first page of the website through essential software and experience that we are proficient in. Bridging the gap of the villagers to the global network which open the doors to a broader customer base. By having our social enterprise concept, we are able to bring the villagers’ product globally by providing them with the websites. This will allow the villagers to reach out to more customers.
OBJECTIVE-a) To intensify human potential and bestow it in a appropriate way for the social empowerment. b) To develop humanitarianism for enriching human quality and peace building. KEY ACTIVITIES-The HDC Scheme will be executed by educational institutions and corporate organisations and will work for the advancement of human potential and development of humanity. a) Humanity-HDC will be envisioned with an aim to act as a bridge between educational institutions, corporate and social development organizations. It makes them involve in social welfare activities. It provides a platform for the young minds (students and professionals) to acquire deeper understanding of the inhuman activities and sufferings of weaker sections. This makes them feel their humanism and when they get opportunity to do service continuously from school, and then this humanistic approach becomes a part of their life activity. b)Human Potential-HDC will identify the interest, skill, strength of the students and staffs and creates opportunity for developing it. In this way the real human potential will be developed and it can be used in such a way that the sustainable development goals of the nation can be achieved in different sectors by this skilled manpower. This process sharpens the critical thinking, skills and innovative thought process of the fellows to transform them into professionals, social entrepreneurs. APPROACH-A fellowship program with twin goals of providing catalytic support to improve human potential (skill development programme), as well as developing humanitarian activity will be initiated. Through this program educated young minds from institutions and working professionals from different organizations will be made to involve in social welfare activities and in improving their skill and potentials. A grass root level approach to the ground realities of weaker sections of the communities will be followed, when involving in social activities. While HDC enables the fellows to gain knowledge of their interests.
The main objectives of my idea is to bring an equitable growth in the poultry sector which includes the development of large scale poultry farmers and along with them the development of small scale farmers for steady growth and production and the production can be collected at a single point i.e. at a co-operative market. Further, the co-operative will decide the Minimum Support Price (MSP) which will provide a stable and uniform platform for sale of poultry birds. The co-operative will consist of Board of Members which will decide the rules and regulations for the co-operative and the board will consist progressive farmers along with representatives of small farmers, veterinarians and local feed suppliers. For strengthening the poultry farmers and year round production in the farm, the loan can be made available to them from the banks and also training will be organized for adoption of new and improved techniques and equipment in the farming. Further, the formation of co-operative will boost the economy by setting up of a slaughter house and meat processing plant by the co-operative and that will enhance the year round sale of the poultry meat and increase profit for the farmer by value addition. The formation of such a meat co-operative will be first of its kind in the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir and the model can be replicated in the country will great results. My basic idea is to bring the poultry farmers together for their own benefit.
Corozal, Sambo Creek, San Juan, Tornabe, and El Pino are some semi urban and rural communities, which belong to the Garifuna ethnic group (except El Pino). Today there are twelve micro-businesses initiatives that produce and grant services, which are managed by entrepreneurs of the communities, who have united to create job sources that might enhance their livelihood. They present deficiencies in the production processes and the operations, hampering profitability. The idea is to create a web of businesses that produce and grant services in the region, that offers technical and financial support. The web will focus on working three areas: the first focuses on improving the production and service processes, including the used methods and processes, the application of the safety norms for the elaboration of foods, labor ergonomics, acquisition of equipment and supplies, etc. The second area of focus covers the legal, administrative, and marketing components, to position the product in the market, keeping in sight a national and international growth, regarding both national and international laws. A third area of corporate social responsibility, where a scholarship program will be created to provide opportunities for access of quality education to children and teens. The web seeks to improve the production and financial processes of the micro-businesses, resulting with: quality products and services, improved organizational structure, and secure the profitability of each initiative. Obliquely, we will work on reinforcing the abilities of the partners and employees through personnel training in administrative, legal, marketing, and production processes according to each business’s category. The production processes will be adapted to minimize the greenhouse effect gas emission. The raw material used for the elaboration of the products will be acquired from the communities, supporting the local market.
The main objective of the business will be recycling plastic bottle waste into polyester clothes, it will include buying plastic bottles from individual road side pickers or companies who deal with plastic bottle business. After the collection of the plastic bottles, they will be sorted out according to their colors in order to have different thread colors, removing of bottle caps and other unwanted materials. The plastic bottles will be cut into small pieces then put into a machine which will melt the plastic into larva form, the larva form will pass through a shower like metal to make a thread shape [yarn] ,at that process the yarn will be blown by wind then the yarn will pass into Polyester Embroidery Machine and the sewing process will begin to make clothes. The sewing process needs sewing machines to accomplish the work.
The idea revolves around palm fruit cultivation in a large scale. It\'s targeted at deploying the massive un utilised lands in the Nigerian soil to grow 50million palm fruits of the Tenera specie. Palm fruit cultivation is one area of investment that guarantees 100% profit maximisation as every thing about it is either a source of food or raw material to industries ranging from the palm kernel, palm oil, palm cake as well as the leaves. Nigeria is a country with over 160million people and over 21,197,085 households and every body is an active consumer of palm oil and it\'s raw materials. With this established, the idea is sure to aid poverty alleviation, wipe off unemployment, revamp the energy sector, reduce importation as well as facilitate development in the rural sector and cuff unnecessary rural-urban migration. Notwithstanding, there have never been a branded and well packaged palm oil in Nigeria and this will be the first of its kind which is a welcome innovation to the manufacturing industry in Nigeria.
Design the price is an online-shop which offers a new unconventional purchasing process through the «Pay what you want » concept. The principle is simple: Designers purpose their creations and for those creations purpose the buyer prices. Design the price is a portmanteau word for “Design the product” (Designer) and “Set the price” (buyer): - Designers sell their creations on Design the price with a labels: those labels provide visibility into the development process and are given according to environmental responsibility criteria (e.g. amount of used water throughout the development or amount of traveled kilometer for all the elements of the creation) - Buyers are informed via the labels about the “rate” of the environmental responsibility and can thereby set the price for the creation they want to have. The target of Design the price is to reduce the negative impact of our today consumption by promoting local development and local procurement.
Students nowadays are in a good situation to start developing their own ideas because they will never be as free as at the university. Also, facing a youth unemployment, as a student today, it is important to start creating your own opportunities to get a job or even becoming an entrepreneur yourself. In order to address this issues, we decided to make an initiative, called Organon, a social web platform for young individuals around the world that seeks to offer different opportunities related to education, such as internships, job positions, training courses, competitions, scholarships and conferences. By giving information related to those opportunities around the world, Organon is an \'online meeting point’ formed like a social network. Every interested student can make his/her profile, which represents CV, and communicate mutually with other students in a way of a forum and with individual messaging option. They are cooperating, finding partners for projects/competitions, exchanging experiences. After participation in some activity which was offered on the platform, student gets automatically an extra feature in his/her CV. Moreover, the platform will also feature video presentations of experiences and blog posts about developing important skills. Unlike massive web portals with the similar theme, Organon engages and inspires youth through its unique social platform.

The main objective of the idea is to give African young people the opportunity to innovate, effect positive change in their communities, create employment by starting up businesses, and demonstrate transformational leadership across the African Continent. The major activities under this idea is Empowerment, Training/Development and Mentorship. African youths need a lot of capacity development skills that conventional schools does not provide. Africa youths need that their leadership, entrepreneurial and innovation skills be highly develop to take on leadership roles and be allowed to co-create their future. The Idea is therefore uniquely designed to target young people who are job seekers, school dropouts to empower them with skills that will make them problem solvers (Transformational leaders) not problem \"watchers\". They therefore solve problems, make impact and make money by solving the one of the numerous problems in Africa
Our main objective is to contribute towards an inclusive society. We aim to better include elderly both socially and economically. This is achieved directly, by giving some elderly people an opportunity to meet younger generations and earn additional income, as well as indirectly by creating appreciation for the skills many elderly possess. As we build a reputation and positive public image, we hope to become an advocate for the elderly and coordinate additional services. Specifically, we will arrange cooking sessions, where different groups learn to cook traditional specialties from an older person (like “cooking at grandma’s”). We thus turn a widely acknowledged skill into a marketable tool for elderly self-empowerment. The goal is an enjoyable and cohesive group experience more than new cooking skills. In essence, we put family traditions into a new context, applying a practice that brings families together to other groups. At the same time, the elderly get to experience social bonding and connection more frequently than they would normally have the chance to do. We will work to identify elderly in need but with skills and train them to work with groups. To make sure our employees are taken care of beyond finances, we will provide them with information and access to other opportunities and resources for elderly. By maintaining relationships with local agencies and centers for the elderly, we hope both to find new elderly participants and to arrange services for our employees. Furthermore, we will reach out to tourist agencies and hostels, companies and workshop providers, and youth organizations, who could be interested in our sessions as cultural experiences, corporate activities, or teambuilding experiences. In the future, our sessions could be developed to focus on different aspects, such as the culture behind the food, other crafts and skills, storytelling, and more.
The goal of the project is to produce high quality, chemical and smoke free, well fermented cocoa beans while ensuring a healthy environment and adequate standard of living for the people involved. During phase 1 (0-4yrs), 10ha of forest will be acquired (feasibility study already done). Seeds of Forastero cocoa will be purchased from the Institute of Research for Agricultural Development, nursed and then out planted at 2.5m x 2.5m on prepared land. Cocoa will be inter planted with nitrogen fixing tree species in 5m x 5m alleys. The nitrogen fixing trees will shade the young cocoa plants, provide green manure and make up for cleared forest and carbon sequestration. This agro-forestry system will limit the movement of insect pests from one cocoa plant to the other thus reducing the incidence of diseases and the need for too much pesticide spraying. The will be registered as a Limited Liability Company .Given that cocoa starts bearing after four years, during the first phase of the project crops such as vegetables, maize, egusi, cassava, plantain and grafted non timber forest product and fruit trees will be planted to cover for the cost of some activities. During phase two (year 5+); the farm will be cleared, sprayed (chemical pesticide and plant extracts) and pruned when necessary. Upon maturity, cocoa pods will be harvested, broken open and the beans fermented in cocoa fermenting boxes for 6 days before drying (in a Samoan dryer constructed in the 4th year; the dryer will generate money for its up keep). When dry, cocoa beans will be bagged, weighed and sold to TELCAR COCOA Company Ltd. Only organic fertilizers will be used and phytosanitary pruning will be prioritized over chemical spraying. The cost of these will be compensated for by the ‘payment for premium quality’ package.

The economic and political changes that happened after the WWII engendered the need of establishing an international community ready to combat every global challenge. Soon after the birth of United Nations, young diplomats demanded an international community to raise their voices and originate solutions, the well known Model of United Nations. Raise your Placards, is a simple quick way to bring the international Model of United Nations community together. It is an application, where every conference, team that wants to make a conference happen, delegate or just an individual interested in UN simulations can communicate via their accounts. The aforementioned accounts are free for individuals, whereas conferences have to pay a specific amount per limelight click received. At the same time the publications of all types are open to Votes in Favor/ Votes Against. The app also gives the opportunity to future delegates unable to afford the fees of conferences even to get scholarships for upcoming conferences, by submitting their CVs and a letter of motivation to us. Of course many other features are available, like conference live streaming, easy application forms and getting-to-know the people of a conference one wishes to attend. However, the most important goal is to introduce MUN conferences to public schools by cooperating with the City Halls of each district and thus promote social equality and justice. Moreover, MUN develops delegates’ critical thinking, public speaking abilities, knowledge of international affairs and empowers their moral consciousness as global citizens. What we need today is to motivate the youth and encourage them to fight for a brighter tomorrow.
My idea is about fish keeping where by in our country there is condusive environment for an idea to be undertaken. Tanzania is well endowed with abundant natural resources from aquatic resources base. The total inland water area cover nearly 61500 kmsqure or about 6.5 percent of the total land area on the marine side the country has territorial sea about 64000 kmsqure and a coastal line of 1424 km squre . The exclusive economic zone is up to 200 nautical miles covering an area of 223000 km square providing the country with additional marine area and fisheres resources. I will concentrate with producing tilapia because it has a big market than other type of fishes. The main objective of my idea is that to increase food nutrition and income of households. Other objectives are 1. Reduce poverty to the households by providing employment opportunity in farming area and also in supplying the product to customers 2. Reduce dependance . by increasing household income they will be able to afford basic need for their life and thus dependence will be reduced for some extent. 3. To stimulate self employment. If my idea will be undertaken then other people also will also practise the same activity in other area and thus they will be able to employ themselves. ACTIVITIES The activities that are supposed to undertaken so that the project can be achieved are as follow 1. Finding the condusive area for undertaking the project 2. Constructing the pond for farming 3. Employing workers 4. Buying small homosexual fishes for farming 5. Start farming activities Those are the activities that will be undertaken for a successful fish farming and I will use modern method of fish farming so that I can be assured of the production of many fishes at short period
Responsible consumption, the health of the poor, the integration of refugees into our communities: these goals might not seem connected at first glance. Yet we believe that our project “Good Food” can make a real difference in all three of these areas and more. At our not-for-profit restaurant, we will work with a number of professional chefs, each of them volunteering a few evenings a month. Unlike any other restaurant, we want to use only leftover food salvaged from supermarkets and local famers. Then, the chefs will employ their creative powers to come up with delicious dishes created from food that would otherwise have gone to waste. Our guests pay only as much as they are able and willing to pay. Thus, low-income or even homeless people will be able to get a healthy and nutritious dinner every day for free. We hope that as a consequence fewer people will have to suffer from poor health and a bad diet. Most importantly, “Good Food” works for our workers. We want to give opportunities to the many refugees who have in the past year come to Vienna. Although they desperately want to find their way into Austrian society and make their livelihoods in their new place of residence, legal constraints still prevent many from working for a for-profit company. “Good Food” is an attempt to ease their way into the regular job market. But even more importantly, we recognize that education is key to success. At our restaurant, refugees will learn first-hand from the best chefs in town. The invaluable skills they acquire here allow them to pursue a brilliant career in the field of gastronomy later on. Good food should not be wasted – especially not where it can be used to the benefit of poor and marginalized people.
The main objective of my idea is to encourage people to stop wasting energy and electricity in their homes. According to data from the Energy Savings Trust the average UK family wastes £86 per year just on keeping their TV on standby. Every year tonnes of energy is wasted by people leaving their electronic appliances, such as TVs or lights, on when they go out. This ultimately means that more electricity is wasted and more fossil fuels have to be burnt, unnecessarily. Therefore my idea is that, in each home, there would be a master key, which when turned would turn off, automatically, all electronic devices within the household (with the obvious exceptions, such as your fridge and freezer). It would essentially work through a series of relay circuits connected to the master circuit. In order to encourage people to install these master keys I envision that the government would allow some tax relief upon their purchase and that the government would also advertise the economic benefits - household bills (such as heating and electricity) would decrease in cost rapidly.
The World Health Organization has revealed that Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) kill 38 million people each year and almost three quarters of NCD deaths (28 million) occur in low and middle-income countries(1). The 4 main types of NCDs, are cardiovascular diseases (like hypertension, heart attacks and stroke), cancers, chronic respiratory diseases (such as chronic obstructed pulmonary disease and asthma) and diabetes. They affect both children and adults. Many People are not aware that NCDs come as a result of an unhealthy lifestyle. This unhealthy lifestyle includes unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, exposure to tobacco smoke or the effects of the harmful use of alcohol. A positive change in diet, lifestyle and an increase in physical activity can reverse and prevent cardiovascular diseases like hypertension, heart attack and stroke(1). It has been predicted that by the year 2025, 1.56 billion people will have hypertension (2). There is also a great need for sexual and reproductive health education in our country. Young girls and women are not aware of essential reproductive and sexual health messages because many people including parents are ashamed to talk about it with their children. Most women and girls will get the wrong information from their peers. Diseases of the reproductive system, school dropout in females due to unwanted pregnancies and abortions can be prevented if women have access to sexual and reproductive health messages which will help in reducing morbidity and mortality rates. I am out to use mobile SMS in health education aimed at giving subscribers the best health knowledge and tips to help fight NCDs and to improve on the sexual and reproductive health of women and girls. POULTRY FARMING is an idea which was born out of the desire to solve the problem of food shortage in the country and world at large. If you have ever live a life that when you eat, you can’t help but imagine were the next meal will come from to the extent that you could no longer figure out what the taste of the present meal is like. It is with these enthusiasms that I fall in love with agriculture (Anima Farming to be precise). This farm will possess a feature that will distinguish it from others and competitors as well. The goal will not be for profit making though the need to generate profit will not be disregarded. The goal will be: “AFFORDABLE FOOD FOR ALL” What are the feature. They include; 1. Grain farming: Bird Feed are the most cost challenging aspect of poultry farm, by farming our own grains for our feed production we will be able to sale these birds at a price that will be very economic friendly for the POOR 2. Feed processing: farming our grain alone does not make the feed affordable for us but going to the length of processing our own feed will do just fine, by implication we will not have need to buy feed from vendors 3. Meat processing machines: We will also process our product to finishing so as have a ready for consumption product by these we will be able to make more profits and pay more staffs thereby reducing poverty through employing more hands. 4. Charity: having in mind the essence of life we also intend to perform a societal responsibility by initiating a programme called ONE-CHILD-ONE-EGG-ONE-DAY. This programme is geared towards eliminating diseases caused by malnutrition.
The main idea is the recycled of plastic bottles, the main objectives is the maximum used of the plastic bottles, the problem is that the people currently costumer a lot of mineral water and the soda, in the past the bottles was made with a glass, but this method is not economic and take a long time to made it, the solution was to use the plastic bottles with a low cost and gain time, for our activities start with collecting of the empty bottles, for the first step we start with our town Medea, and we test it, after that we can do it for all of provision Medea, we chose three street popular in the first and collecting from people not directly, but we put like a big boxes and the people put the bottles inside, depend the street and we will see it if it Filled, after that collecting and filtering into three materials, after that bought it to companies which will be recycled and reuse it. All of those steps that for the beginning of project, after that we will try to do all work in the same companies (collecting and filtering and recycling) as you can see those step in the two pictures: 1- procedure and map of Medea.
Physically challanged people are a class of society who need special care and attention and simplify their daily lives do not cause them embarrassment or inconvenience. More importantly, we should involve them in our stratigies for environment sustainability. The aim of the idea is to design an electric wheelchair contain solar cells that will provide handicapped peaple with enough electricity for their daily needs, such as charging their mobile phones, cup cooling, lightning and also for wheelchair movement. And thus will facilitate them with their daily lives, they will not need to return to their homes when their phone\'s battery is empty or when they need a cold drinks/water. So it would be easy for them to use their devices that rely on electricity at any time, any place and only by using clean energy. The design of the wheelchair will be a modern and easy folding In addition to the safety of the user. As for the solar panels will be installed in the back to be flexible in movement and taking into account the solar panals will be lightweight and high quality to absorb sunlight very efficiently. For the convenience of the handicapped, will be a thermal insulator between the chair and solar panels to prevent heating of the wheelchair. In addition, there is a battery for storing electrical energy and outlets for charging phones, place for cooling cups as well as lighting for the night uses and reading.
An opportunity to bring markets and provide dynamism to trade in the developing country is the Internet, through the use and creation of trading platforms that allow businesses and merchants display their products or services; in that sense, the online jewelry store SyC not intended that the great traders of jewelers and goldsmiths operate on our site, but that entrepreneurs of this sector and mainly women entrepreneurs who are disadvantaged economic or social to market their creations and products. The concept of jewelry shop online SyC, allows people from any part of Honduras can observe and buy crafts and professional jewelry so that the purchase can be made on line or by an agent for customer care available in phone or by a reference; and upon purchase, the customer will receive a message waiting 24 hours to get the jewel in SyC facilities and after it could go to a place of physical reference to claim your accessory or jewelry. Producers jewelry can sell their products by registering and creating an account that will serve to give a profile under which published its own catalog of creations marketed at a price defined and shown to the public, so selling will be sent an email notice and a notice that will give faith accreditation of money to your account that can claim to enforce the delivery of the jewel in the premises of the SyC store. With this alternative is to improve the income of the unemployed women, integrating women entrepreneurship and promote compliance with the tax law.
The primary revenue streams for the business will come from the sale of bulk metal, paper, and plastic that will be sold to manufacturers and wholesalers throughout the target market. The Company will acquire these inventories by acting as a private recycling center where individuals, general contractors, and subcontractors can drop off their waste recyclable materials. Within its facility, the Recycling Center will have all of the necessary equipment to process and repackage waste recyclables into saleable inventories.Once the business receives its capital infusion, the Company will actively begin sorting, packaging, and reselling recyclable materials to the open market. There is a large host of manufacturers, wholesalers, and recyclable product dealers that are seeking to acquire large inventories (typically on a per ton basis). Their primary intent is to either reuse the materials in their business processes or sell them to other third parties. Once the private recycling facility is operational, the business will have the ability to generate substantial income from the ongoing sale of packaged recyclable materials that will primarily consist of bulk paper, plastic, and metals. The business will be able to recycle all of these materials from its facilities.
Through this project, our goal is to reduce the critical failure rate that is noticed from the final year tests results in our secondary schools here in Benin Republic. We want to offer an online/offline tutorials for students whose parents are unable to pay sometimes more than one million CFA to offer home tutorials to their kids. Thus, with only 1 thousand CFA subscription monthly, pupils will have access to not only all the contents of the subjects they are taught at schools, but also will they have access to exercises and their corrected versions. They will also be capable to ask question directly to a lecturer in a specific subject they\'re having problem with and get instantly replies. The students will also have opportunity to submit homeworks they can\'t understand abd get the online chat with a lecturer in the subject and ask him any question they need to understand before tackling the exercises. The more exciting part of all this is that students won\'t need to access internet network before operating on the platform. We are working towards achieving a platform that will be working with mobile services network. To be more clear, if a student got a phone that can support an application and that can makes calls, then he will be able to access our services. These are the innovative doses we intend to add to our platform so that it helps reach more students since they won\'t have to pay fees for internet. Our concept is totally new and noone is actually doing the same in Africa. It\'s simply an innovation.
The main purpose of this project is to increase the incomes of a group of haitians that are actually living in precarious conditions teaching them a new skill so they can create beautifull and colorful handmade sandals and start making more money to send to their familys in Haiti. The Project will start with two different workshops: The macrame workshop and the shoemaker training. For the first one, Myrielle Lindor, haitian Young woman and current Macrame Workshop teacher for TECHO Haiti (local foundation), is will to come in order to train the haitian people in their own language: haitian creol. For the other workshop the Project will hire a chilean teacher because we want to ensure that the quality of the product is approved by the chilean population. After one month training, the students will be able to start making the shoes and MYRIELLE CREACIONES,an small enterprise, wil promote the sales. This way the project can guarantee the beneficiaries will not be making sandals and not be able to sell them by their own, are going to be able to increase their incomes for sure. Not only this Project will provide better life quality to the haitian community but will also show the chilean population that the haitian community is able to make beautiful handmade shoes, very colorful as the haitian culture and the most important thins, the haitians will show they can contribute to increase the country’s economic growth.
Students motivation is an important element to build an effective learning environment making them actively engaged. However, the chronic problematic of wining students attention to teach them has become acute. In fact the digital generation is unmoved by traditional methods, contrarily they are very comfortable with video games and technologies and they can involve and engage them. Therefore, we innovate education and revive the teaching tools in order to achieve effective learning goals using the power of well-designed digital games. We give students the opportunity to play education and enjoy learning at classroom through interactive mobile games presenting the curriculum in a playful and immersive form. We are producing and refining games for primary schools adapted to the curriculum, the student knowledge progression and age that make classroom a high motivating learning environment. We provide high quality and 3D designed products, also we use learning principles to make it an ideal learning environment and the rules that make games well designed to boost students motivation and engagement. Learners are highly motivated by games feedback such as scores, experience badges and immediate evaluations. He explores and reinforces his academic knowledge through missions and questions in the game. The educators and the parents can follow the progress of the player and identify his difficulties. We are a young talented, cohesive and multidisciplinary team from two engineers, graphic artiste and designer, incubated at the National Engineering School of Sousse. We work in partnership with primary schools in order to involve our customer in the process of development.
According to a 2013 report by the United Nations Children Emergency Funds – UNICEF, 2000 children die daily and 90% of these deaths are caused by avoidable water related diseases. By this statement, it is implied that over 724,000 children die annually from avoidable water related diseases, and 11% of these deaths occur in Nigeria, amounting to the death of over 80,000 children per annum. According to the UNICEF, over 66million Nigerians lack access to improved drinking water, and Nigeria also leads second to India in half of the worlds under 5 deaths. (http://www.unicef.org/media/media_68359.html) Of this statistics, Emohua Local Government Area in Rivers State Nigeria is not captured, as this set of people are a timid group of an obscured origin, and of the 23 Local Government Areas in the state, they lack most of the basic amenities such as water, among others. Local villagers in this community trek miles to access water from the local stream with exception of a few who have wells drilled in their compounds. Yet these ones fetch the water out of an over 20feet deep well, using unhealthy looking and often contaminated locally sourced ropes and buckets. In 2013 local health survey showed more than 60% of the children in this locality were affected by cholera and diarrheal with over 70% of adults with a record of diarrheal and another 45% currently suffering from a water related disease. Our project is designed to address the problem of poor health and child mortality due to water related diseases arising from lack of improved drinking water and poor hand washing hygiene and general hygiene culture in five (5) underserved wards (Wards 1,5,6,8,10) in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers state.
My idea is to open up a centre where people residing in Gozo are given the option of various goods and services in relation to their diabetes. From personal studies, I found that diabetes in Gozo is still considered as a Taboo and most people are afraid to share their condition. Communicating and sharing experiences with other people going through the same situation can be very beneficial to the individuals and society since it increases awareness and knowledge on living with this chronic illness. In today’s society, new products are constantly being introduced; however, most products such as meters and testing strips cost a lot. Therefore, my idea is to provide products at cheap rates and offer advice on the best option for each and every individual. It will also provide products such as supplements and oils that can help the individual have a healthier, well-controlled life. The centre will also provide specialist services, educational sessions, and also group sessions. Such activities will help individuals increase their knowledge on living a healthy lifestyle and most importantly, not alone. If: we raise awareness of proper approach to diabetes Then: Stigma will decrease and positive behavior changes will be made. Goal: To be more aware of the condition (its lifestyle & opportunities) and increase acceptance of the chronic illness within Gozitan society. Objectives: • Increase discussions and activities • Decrease stigma • Social change • Empower and enhance youths to properly manage the condition • Improve effectiveness, impact and sustainability • Education/ Development • Strengthen dialogue with newly diagnosed people. Vision: To be the primary support and educator for people with diabetes of the Gozitan Community that will lead to a better and informative society. Mission: Facilitating through various means the development of a dynamic & informed society in order to positively impact newly diagnosed individuals and others.
HIV/AIDS continue to be a prominent public health issue in developing countries especially in sub-Sahara. Although enormous efforts targeted towards fighting HIV/AIDS have resulted in tremendous improvements, huge challenges lie ahead. In 2015 there were 2.1 million [1.8 million–2.4 million] new HIV infections worldwide, adding up to a total of 36.7 million [34.0 million–39.8 million] people living with HIV. Sub-Saharan African is said to bear 70% of new HIV/AIDS cases. Antiretroviral therapy has proven effective in substantially improving the health of HIV patients. However, resistance to Antiretroviral therapy is been recorded and arise mainly due to poor adhesion to drug and patient drop out, thus, leading to therapeutic failure and outcome of opportunistic infections and increased mortality. On the other hand tremendous improvements in technology and competition has led to increased network coverage and mobile phone possession; between 70% and 100% of respondents residing in areas with mobile phone coverage in 33 examined countries. Human Rights as defined by the United Nations state that we all have the same right to health care and a happy life. Our idea is to use the link that exists between technology and health; and develop a Web-Mobile Apps to speed up and optimize reduction of HIV/AIDS burden particularly in poor settings. Sensitization of population on screening for HIV/Aids, improvement of adhesion to Antiretroviral Therapy by reminding patients to take their drugs (and the date they have to collect their drugs at the treatment center) via SMS, information of HIV/Management units data bases on HIV patients who dropped out and automatic update HIV/Patient data bases will constitute some of the key functions of the web-Mobile Apps.
In busy modern cities like Nanjing, China, loneliness has become increasingly common among urban dwellers. Also, the complicated social components have led to unequal education within big cities. Share Your Talent Program (SYTP) intends to solve these problems using a dynamic community learning model to give people of all ages and all backgrounds the opportunity to share their talent and continue to learn. I hope the program can foster better relationships between community members and help them cultivate a healthy life attitude by increasing the sense of belonging and participation. SYTP is a platform where community members can teach and learn what they like, with online registration and community-based activities. A volunteer teacher needs to provide a brief teaching plan and launch the class after the plan is approved by SYTP staff. Classes of all kinds are welcome, including but not limited to arts, sports, technology and household skills. Any member can check out the class information online or at the community center and sign up for lessons. A small amount of tuition (no more than 100 RMB per course) will be charged to ensure the operation of the program. No more than 10 people will be included in each class to increase intimacy and interaction. Lessons with positive feedback will be introduced to other communities, including marginalized communities where people have little access to continuing studies. There will be discounts on tuition based on the community’s financial situation. Free summer and winter sessions will be open for school children and teenagers who cannot afford other summer programs. In addition to the regular course forms, the children are encouraged to teach and tutor each other. In this way, these children can get in touch with subjects and activities not covered at school and develop self-confidence and communication skills.
Nigeria, operating a monolithic economy , is heavily dependent on importation and this has seriously impeded the economy of the Nation, thus the need to diversify the economy. The Nigerian roads are filled with cars and yet, there is no substantial battery manufacturing company but car users rather depend on expensive imported batteries. Therefore this industry will help to reduce the dependency of Nigeria on imported goods by producing more efficient and less expensive (since the cost of importation will not be included) batteries. In addition, regular supply of energy remains one of the potential factors of development, and according to the United Nations (UN), 1.2 billion people in the world don\'t have access to electricity while about 1 billion people have access to unreliable power supply. Although, the country is advancing its steps towards renewable energy sources especially solar energy, it will be a great disadvantage to her, if she still relies on imported components. Therefore, this enterprise will manufacture different grades of batteries needed for solar system installation. Also, I observed that in most cases, when batteries have reached their end-of-use, it is most times discarded carelessly which in turn pollute the environment. Therefore, enviromental pollution will be reduced by recyling and refurbishing of used batteries. Recycling used batteries will also reduce the cost of producing new batteries. To increase the efficiency of this industry, a mobile application will be created where customers can order batteries, request for a pick up of used batteries and also request for battery check ups. Customers will be greatly assisted in choosing the right type of battery for their device or engine. Also, researching for better battery technologies will be one of the major duty of the company. Lastly, the health risks involved in producing batteries will be mitigated by adopting best medical practices.
Movingbooks is an idea of a mobile application that allows its users to share and receive books—free of charge. Our goal is to create a platform that may provide much access to numerous books regardless the price tags that the books may possess. With this application, users may give their used books or books that are rarely used by them to be donated or to be exchanged with another book of their choosing. We want to make books to be affordable for anyone. We wish to share the joy of reading and the pleasure of knowledge with Movingbooks. Our tagline is: Don’t let money stop you from reading!
One of the main challenges that Morocco is facing nowadays is access to drinking water in the desertic region espacially in Merzouga region(over 250 000 habitans included the nomads,...), so our objective is: Working every day to reinvent charity while bringing clean drinking water not only in Morocco but to the 663 million people living without, and that\'s why we launched and we started many activities like : awareness companion on harmful damage of polluted water, Research partners, making training,Contact lab,... The concept is very easy it to install a pump with solar energy, wich produces electricity using photovoltaic and thermal energy, used by the electric network. This pump will pump groundwater to be stored in tanks, and filtred through an innovative processing system.
MOBILE DIGITAL LIBRARY is the idea of creating special platform (WEBSITE / OFFLINE SOFTWARE) which will collect various books in PDF format and enables a student to read various books Through his/her mobile phone or PC . I got this idea after seeing many students especially in my country were unable to use technology effectively . Many of them have been using cellphones and Computers for playing Games and carrying on other luxury activities like listening and playing music, Movies etc . I also noticed the problem of shortage of books in many schools , so I got the idea to create this special platform that will enable a student to read various books on a mobile phone or PC

Our business idea is to empower students with entrepreneur skills through manageable income generating activities to enable them raise funds to cater for the financial challenges they face in obtaining quality education which include feeding, clothing, medical, sanitary for girls, scholastic material, among others. Our business products are universally acceptable organic poultry products using the Kuroiler chicken spices. Caged Kuroiler poultry rearing of at least 20 hens and 2 cocks per student plus 20 hens and 2 cocks per teacher of the pilot school will be the business start-up kit. At least three-quarters of the produced fertilized eggs will be sold in order to meet the student’s financial obligations and for saving. While for sustainability and expansion purpose, some of the fertilized eggs will be hatched and the chicks sold and others be given out to other students and teachers within nine months. Chicken cage rearing will provide them with a manageable system of being entirely responsible for the care and management of the bird and its eggs production with less labor. The cage system developed will ensure security for the 22 chickens as the student and or teacher will lock the cage while in class. Kuroilers are dual purpose hybrid of chicken that produce quality meat and eggs. They offer a significant improvement in virtually all areas of breeding compared to the indigenous chickens. They can produce around 150 to 200 eggs per year, or even 300 eggs in warmer conditions and the maturity period is about 10 weeks. The meat yield per bird is also greater, with cocks weighing approximately 3.5kg at maturity and hens weighing about 2.5kg; this makes them viable. In terms of nutrition the beneficiary will have easy daily access to a high protein egg in addition to other recommended daily meals.
The main objective of the Kids coding boot camp is to help and invoke kids to learn coding at an early stage. The activities will involve organizing camping events and kids coding competitions. The events in partnership with NGOs and tech companies will be focused on teaching kids in groups of ten or twenty coding for several days, by volunteers and team tutors. Thereafter given tasks to be solved as teams, there\'ll be competition between teams to build their ability to work in/as a team. Certificate of participation will be given to kids and special recognition awards to kids that perform excellently well based on their team ability, critical thinking and problem solving skills. These kids will also have the opportunity to represent their state/country at the last quarter kids coding competition. It is a developing idea and always open to modification.
Indonesia is classified by the World Bank as a lower-middle-income country which most of Indonesia people are farmer and breeder who have income that is less than $4,125 but more than $1,045. It is very few are able to pay for access to health care. Other lower-middle-income countries include India, Vietnam and Nigeria. Indonesia has 51.546.297,3 tons agriculture waste. By providing agriculture waste Vet Medika is able to improve access to healthcare. 1. How Vet Medika works in practice Breeder pay a monthly collection fee 15.000 IDR. The fees collected from members combined with the profits from selling or repurposing the agriculture products collected is used by Vet Medika to provide members with quality livestock health Medika. Providing Health Medika 20% of its livestock will require curative treatment in any given month. The cost of treating each patient is estimated to be 33.000 IDR. At this ratio, more than 50% of the total fees collected from members can be used to provide programs focused on improving health and preventing illness, meaning that livestock who aren’t sick benefit. For example: a) 1000 members pay monthly premiums of 15.000 IDR each to dispose of their b) This produces monthly income of 15.000.000 IDR for Vet Medika c) If 150 of those members’s livestock require treatment, with each treatment costing 33.000 , this costs 4.950.000 IDR d) The remaining 10.050.000 IDR every month is used for improving public health and developing preventative programes. The range of services provided to Vet Medika members includes: 1. Free medical consultations by phone 2. Livestock health guidance 3. Advice on nutrition 4. Mentoring reproduction development 5. Monitoring of chronic diseases 6. Post- rehabilitation and recovery
Our model entails registration of slum residents mostly women ,who become our members. Each member is required to deliver to us both organic & inorganic garbage worth $20 approximately 45kg of waste on a monthly basis, where we allocate 40% of the these fund towards providing each member with health care cover on a monthly basis once the waste is sold out to our partner recyclers which is processed into money as a \"health fund\" for members where each member is guaranteed 2 monthly clinic visits for family members, maternity weekly checkups for women members, could be either children or check up clinic visits for expectant mother to partner local healthcare centres/clinics paid by the health fund. We partner with local healthcare centers located within slums areas whom we thoroughly vet to ensure they offer high quality healthcare services using best facilities.Additionally,we negotiate best rates for various services & drugs that our members would access ensuring value for money. The organic fertilizer produced will be sold to partner small scale organic farmers, flower farms on regular basis. Collected garbage delivered by our members is converted into a health fund through two ways, first, organic garbage is processed to fertilizer using the Compositing Method while inorganic garbage I.e plastic bottles, is sold to recyclers whom we partner with to supply them with the raw materials they highly require for their recycling processes. We are converting garbage in slums as a financial resource in enabling the un-insured slum residents pay clinical services by using garbage in an insurance scheme making the community mobilize their own unused resources to improve health access and breakdown barrier between health facilities and community.
My project is called Outpeak, and Outpeak addresses a problem of school dropout due to income shocks, parental death and health issues by fundraising for students who incur these situations during their secondary education through our website, Outpeak also helps needy yet smart girls acquire free study scholarship to quality private secondary school here in the country by securing partnership with quality secondary schools, in addition other students will participate by donating excess scholastic material in Outpeak boxes that will be stationed in several schools. We get these needy students from schools and street government through distributed registration forms from Outpeak and our team will validate the submitted information before registering the student in our platform for online campaign so far we have started partnering with schools to get these drop outs . we conducted a research and found out that most Tanzanians do not go online to donate or contribute, usually they search other things so we decided to also raise local fund raising campaigns or have charity works with the benefit of getting funds. We don’t stop at raising money only but we encourage the students to develop projects to sustain themselves for they will not only depend on donations when they meet such challenges again. When the student comes to our workshop we will have some time for reviews because if he/she only focuses on projects what about school so we will partner with online studying programs for such time.
Africa has about 60 percent of the world\'s unused cropland, and also Nigeria as the most populous nation on the continent also has 60% of its land uncultivated, providing it with a golden opportunity to simultaneously develop its agricultural sector and reduce unemployment. Some of the major factors that have hindered this sector are the inefficient supply chain from farm to the end consumers, poor storage and packaging just to mention a few. Tomato.com will be providing an e-commerce B2B and B2C platform for manufacturers of Agricultural and food products to connect to their customers and vice-versa so as to cater for the headache of reaching targeted consumers easily. It has been discovered that before agricultural products (perishable goods such as tomato pepper etc.) gets to end consumers, most would have gotten spoilt or rotten.Tomato.com comes with a solution by providing conditioning centers for these produce to be processed and well packaged before distribution so as to deliver healthy food to the populace and also increase the longevity of these products. With Tomato.com farmers will be encouraged to farm more knowing their produce can last longer, end consumers can locate manufacturers of certain products easily and vice versa. In summary we seek to boost sales of these products as an incentive to cultivate more farmlands, hence ensuring food security, employment and a boost to her economy as Strive Masiyiwa put it “AFRICA HOLDS THE KEY TO HUMANITY\'S FUTURE, AND AGRICULTURE HOLDS THE KEY TO AFRICA\'S FUTURE”.
Almost 70 per cent of Africans live in the rural settings. 70 per cent of the rural population in Africa comprises of smallholder farmers who contribute at least 80 per cent of the total agricultural output. However, most of African smallholder production remains noncompetitive on regional and global market. Usually, the quantity and quality of produce do not satisfy the market demands. The main objective of the idea is to transform smallholder farming in Malawi and across Africa from being a mere social activity, which simply meets household needs, into a commercial or business activity. Several strategic activities are planned to achieve this objective. Firstly, i recognize the need to build capacity in the farmers. The idea, therefore, is to provide on-the-field as well as out-of-the-field trainings regarding best practices on; farming, pre-harvest and post-harvest methods of handling the crops, etc. Secondly, i also recognize farmers\' inability to access appropriate and adequate farm inputs, especially due to poverty. Hence, the idea provides a solution in the form of farm input financing whereby repayment will be made by the farmers upon the sale of their crops. Thirdly, i acknowledge farmers\' inability to maintain the quantity and quality of the produce after harvest due to poor storage facilities and transport system. The idea, firstly, is to establish community warehouses that will also act as pick-up points from which the produce will be ferried to main warehouses constructed in strategic central points. Again, the idea will ensure effective, efficient and reliable transportation system between pick-up points and the central warehouses. The other important activity of the enterprise is of helping give farmers an access to multiple and competing buyers and more markets through an establishment of the commodity exchange market. The approach leverages e-commerce, linking farmers and buyers via a commercial platform.
Born Aiming To Aspiration(B.A.T.A), this is an organization initiated in 2009 and registered as community based organization(CBO) IN 2010. it emerged as the result of an idea of providing health education and promotion as well as environmental sanitation. it is providing health education in the community especially STI\'s and other health related problems affecting the community of Tanzania. BATA HEALTH widened it\'s scope of vision by dealing with sold waste management and emphasize the communities about proper excreta disposal and other technical methods of interrupting the routes of diseases transmission.our project is initial based in rural areas, we visit and share different information and knowledge with villagers and school students on how to prevent different diseases mostly affecting our communities this including the knowledge of using available materials to make affordable cleansing materials and deliverance of cheap ones.
People enjoy working out, and, thanks to the health apps, they are able to keep track of their fitness data like walking or jogging distance. Such data, however, have shown little practicality so long. According to the United Nations Facts and Figures, one in nine people in the world today (795 million) are undernourished. Concerning the above two defects, this idea aims to start a long-term campaign which, by cooperating with charities and corporations, will enable people to “donate” fitness data in exchange for resources for the hungry. 1) The operation team should consist of volunteers who has the knowledge&ability to run a campaign. 2) One crucial requirement throughout the campaign is finding sponsors. 3) The campaign can appear in forms including but not limited to web pages and smart phone apps. 4) The campaign should have two main functions: i) After acquiring one’s fitness data, it allows he/she to donate whatever amount of it, and the operation team will in turn donate certain amount of resource to hunger-solving-related organizations such as the United Nations World Food Program. (Money is not a recommended resource, foods are a better choice.) ii) It sets fitness tasks (daily/weekly/monthly) for participants. If they complete it within a given time, the operation team will also make donations. There will be a fixed proportion of resource to fitness data. E.g. Donating or completing jogging for 1km will contribute to a donation of 100 grains of rice. 5) Added functions can involve world hunger facts, recommending exercising methods&healthy recipes, accepting donations and funds from concerned people, etc. 6) People join the campaign by registering and updating fitness data regularly. The goal of this campaign is to stimulate the passion for working out while utilize its result to help feed the undernourished.
World Health Organization confirms in June, 2015, that 2.4 billion of people do not have access to improved sanitation. And, 748 million people lack access to improved drinking-water and it is estimated that 1.8 billion people use a source of drinking-water that is faecally contaminated, which can promote diseases correlated with hygiene. Those numbers represent the lack of basic satiation around the world that must be changed. Basic sanitation is something that should be accessible for all the XXI century’s families. Furthermore Digital Diffusion Chlorinator is one of the solutions for this old problem once it can be used in rural areas as urban areas. Most part of Brazil is rural and requires basic sanitation for a good life and good production in agricultural business. However, the government does not provide enough for a good sanitation inasmuch as it provides free small chlorine capsules for rural citizens. Also, the citizens normally do not know or are afraid in the most part of the cases to use such a chemical material in their water. So, with those facts we had the opportunity to plan a device that does not require human interaction or high knowledge about the purifying process. Moreover, It is cheaper (around $300 dollars each unit) and more efficient than normal devices once it is totally Digital. In addition, the boarded device ( made of Arduino ) that will be localized in the water’s tank will be responsible for calculate the amount of Chlorine assuring no waste of the material and providing the a best quality of water for consume and production. In developing countries like Vietnam, each month, there are over 80 people died because of not having the ambulances on time (due to troubles like traffic jams). Understand the difficulties; I was inspired to come up with EmergencyGo - a system that will check people’s health condition and help them in case of emergency immediately. This system consists of 3 products: EG Collector (an app), EG Service (an online medical service) and EG Cloud (a cloud storage) 1. EG Collector – a health application that collects data about users’ health conditions (from third-party apps such as Nike, Argus or smart devices such as smart band, headset) - for credibility, this information can be firstly approved by local hospitals. EG Collector will then send them to EG Service and get them analyzed for diagnosis. In an emergency case (shake your phone to call for emergency), staffs (qualified doctors) from EG Service will not only send ambulances to users’ updated location but also show users’ relatives or bystanders how to make first-aid based on users’ health data through EG Collector while waiting for ambulances. 2. EG Service – an online medical service organized by qualified doctors who will work through EG Collector and EG Cloud. Doctors from EG Service will stay in touch with users via EG Collecter to give advice based analyzed users\' health data. 3. EG Cloud (only for further development) – a cloud storage for users’ health data from EG Collector (EG Cloud will make it easier to storage a large amount of users’ data and can be accessed from any platforms).
Here we are introducing PlanED with concept of building a bridge between students to students, students to technology, students to society through accessible com-union. It enhances students capabilities through the events conducted; help them to discover their goals. Using the technology to the fullest we are making the inter - communication and intra-communication most easier or effortless for them. Applications we are creating helps students to their college and other colleges, university, events etc., to interact easier.
Well I myself have lots of friends who are working as teachers in schools and nurseries. We all arrange monthly events to make the children participate in it like fun_days or beach days and then by the end of the event we will encourage these young children to donate their clothes or toys or even their books and stories to homeless children.A better idea is to encourage these children to participate in artistic fairs ,drawings or even handcrafts of their own and all the parents buy their lovely crafts..By the end of the fair the money collected goes to the homeless children . ..
Subsistence farmers often experience low yield of maize crop compared to the standard expected yield of maize crop per acre of land. The inadequate training on crop establishment and management practices leads to under-utilization of agricultural innovations, falling of land productivity, poor crop performance and consequently low standard of living of subsistence farmers. The idea of establish Mobile Farmers Training Unit (MFTU) in Morogoro region of Tanzania is an innovative agricultural extension training approach that intends to use well experienced and competent graduates from higher learning institutions to help in motivating and training subsistence farmers on good agricultural practices (GAP) so that they can utilize the available arable land for productivity performance in Agricultural sector. The main objectives for this project is to promote maize crop production through the use of improved varieties, environmental conservation awareness and effective forum to disseminating primary and secondary research and experience in advancing area of precision farming to 180 small holder farmers in rural areas. The Mobile Farmers Training Unit will provide direct agricultural training to organized group of small holder farmers on marketing information, agricultural inputs and agro input suppliers, agronomic management practices and market value addition within their remote areas. The increase in agricultural productivity is a sign of increased sector performance and ultimately changing life standard of small holder farmers in rural areas. The potential for the Mobile Farmers Training Unit is to make difference in today’s dynamic world through massive radical transformation of the minds of people towards agricultural development. Empowering small holder farmers through agricultural development program will result into 3 agenda of Sustainable Development Goals namely Zero hunger, No poverty and Good health and well-being. Therefore, Mobile Farmers Training Unit will be the best and excellent engine towards rural prosperity and agricultural transformation for sustainable development.
What I\'m going to introduce is about hydro power generator which is installed not at dam, but at flowing water, such as river. To do this. Team Vortex needs an efficient model which is possible to convert slow flow water into high efficiency electric energy. So, we came up with new hydro power generator, Housing and Blades. First, Housing is consist with narrowing inlet, cone body and narrow outlet. Water passes through narrowing inlet, housing increases the velocity of flow by Bernoulli\'s equation. After that, through the cone body, water transfer from linear to rotary motion. Finally, passing through narrow outlet, increased water pressure also increase the power of water circulation in housing. Second core factor is blades. Blades rotate not by frictional force but by rotary power. To make this possible, We need to minimize the weight of blades. This minimization will maximize the spinning power of blades and the performance of the generator will be better Also, this method can make artificially produced centrifugal force possible which can generate energy continuously in flowing water.

We plan on setting up Learning Centres at the Internally Displaced Persons Camps in Jos Plateau State, Exploring the idea of skills tacquisition programmes like sewing, bead making, baking, etc for the women. All things being equal we intend to extend to other parts of Nigeria who harbor such Camps in the nearest future. Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) are victims of Boko Haram insurgency who fled from their homes due to crisis and sought for rehabilitation elsewhere, seventy percent of them are women and children. Nigeria is said to have a population of 23 million persons displaced by conflict. Plateau State has three hundred and twenty five thousand (325,000) IDPs in camps. This is rather an unfortunate situation. The continuous stay of the IDPs at the camps is another problem, because their security have been shattered often violently and have been separated from friends and loved ones. Governments and most humanitarian institutions have provided food, shelter and medical services without considering education which to me is urgent and needful. This project is channeled towards providing education to the children and adolescents in the IDPs CAMPs by structuring a Learning Centre to that effect. Education provides a vehicle for rebuilding internally displaced children’s lives, through social interaction, gaining knowledge and skills for their future lives. As the project continuous’ those that have acquired the skills, we hope to plead with the Federal Government and partner with other donor agencies to assist such women with little funds to start small trade that they can fend for themselves and be part of society. The psychological effect, with the learned knowledge, skills and values by educating them can contribute to peace building and socio economic development.
Women who are seeking a career in technology in my country face many challenges and they are less preferred for employment comparing to man. They complete studies with great results but it is very difficult to get their first opportunity to work. Job market favorites man and there are times that vacancies announcements are specified MALES ONLY. I believe on the potential of women to make a great career and I am happy to follow success stories of talented ladies and their achievements. I would like the new generations to have the opportunity to meet these successful women, therefor I want to found the first non-profit organization in Tirana dedicated to young IT professionals. My idea is to create a space in the city where girls can meet and learn together, share experience and get inspired. Professionals to hold workshops, free of charge courses and become mentor of new students. Empowering and improving each others to change once and forever this prejudgement. The women space would become very quickly a development space. I would like women to be able to make an impact, this is why is asked collaboration. Activities planned of the NGO are material support and scholarships for students. Financial help for certifications. Internship and employment opportunities on partnership with the government and private sector. Events to celebrate other women achievements ect.
Easyagro.com is basically an e-commerce marketplace intended to serve as MAJOR DRIVING FORCE OF COMMERCE of agriculture sector in Nigeria and across Africa, which empowers smallholder farmers in rural areas and all key players of Agricultural sector. This is different from traditional e-commerce marketplace where people ONLY buy and sell, we are basically leveraging on Internet and mobile phone technology services to create an HIGHLY-CONNECTED and HIGHLY-COMPETITIVE Agricultural ECO-SYSTEM, that majorly empowers smallholder farmers in rural areas and all key players of Agricultural sector in Africa to; transact business with efficiency, reduce wastage of farm produce, reduce supply chain cost, increase direct acess to geometrically growing urban markets, daily farm management tips, access to flexible financial services, access to sustainable storage systems, weather reports, affordable farm inputs and machineries among others. Having realized the key roles the smallholder farmers in rural areas play in the overall output of Africa\'s Agricultural sector(currently 550million people, and are responsible for 80% Agricultural output accross Africa) we feel the only way to transform this sector for inclusive growth is by empowering smallholder farmers in rural areas. To achieve these we have 3 key revolutionary sub-projects to create support systems for the e-commerce platform. 1) Building of Agro-warehouse in strategic places in rural areas to reduce wastage of farm produce to 5% across Africa. 1b) Reduction of wastage that occurs during haulage of farm produce by designing a fantastic logistics systems for better efficiency. 2) Building of irrigation systems across rural areas 3) Flexible financial services for farmers and all rural-dwellers
Young people below the age of 30 consist of 68% of the population, those between the age of 16 and 30 consist of the total production(UNICEF 2010). Research by United NAtions specifically the Food and Agriculture Organization shows that investment in agriculture is five times more affective in reducing poverty and hunger than investment in any other sector. To respond to this agricultural need in order to reduce hunger and malnutrition, we focus our interest on Moringa Oleifera that is a recent “discovery” of modern science. Moringa leaf is best known as an excellent source of nutrition and natural energy booster. This energy boost is not based on sugar, and so it is sustained. Moringa is also soothing. It helps lower blood pressure and is a sleep aid. Its detoxifying effect may come from Moringa\'s ability to purify water. Moringa acts as a coagulant attaching itself to harmful material and bacteria. The leaves of Moringa are nature\'s multi-vitamin providing 7 x the vitamin C of oranges, 4 x the calcium of milk, 4 x the vitamin A of carrots, 3 x the potassium of bananas, and 2 x the protein of yogurt. On top of that, science is proving Moringa to be a power house of nutrients; 90 are known to date, with the possibility of more yet to be identified. If that were not enough, Moringa has no known impurities, with no adverse reactions ever recorded. Due to its exceptional environmental, medicinal and dietary benefits, the moringa is a multi-purpose tree whose leaves, flowers, fruits, bark and roots can all be directly consumed. It\'s nutritional qualities are becoming increasingly recognized and represent an effective solution in combating malnutrition. Our activities will be based on production and processing of moringa oleifera into powder. Rich in vitamins, minerals and protein, moringa leaves processed into powder improve the diet of children and nursing mothers, and can be used as treatment for diabetes, digestive and respiratory problems.
The main objective is to boost African tourism by making it very marketable and appealing to the international travelling community and readily accessible. The activities of Tour Afrique is to organize the various tourist attractions into a website so that travelers around the globe can be captivated and love to visit. A brief detail of tourist sites will be provided and why it is definitely a must visit. As part of the activities of Tour Afrique, a complete travelling arrangement which include services like hotelier, flight, tourist site visits and other requirements to ensure a hassle-free and a comfortable visit will be provided by Tour Afrique. Our service will be designed to ensure maximum comfort and a world-class treat to ensure that our tourist always love to visit our African tourists sites again. Again, another aspect of income generation as part of the tourism view, is making known to a great extent the African culture. There are also going to be arrangements where tourists, students from across the globe can be hosted to see some of our wonderful traditional festivals .This would be a great opportunity for people offering African studies around the world a great relief. This would promote culture and understanding of the values and traditions of indigenous Africa for the appreciation of the world. Tour Afrique websites would therefore be very educative, advertising both our unique and beautiful tourist sites and must see African culture and cultural events. Part of the funds generated by the company would be invested in developing these tourist sites and the local communities in projects such as schools, potable water and basic social amenities where these attractions are located to benefit from the impact of tourism. The project is starting with my country Ghana.
We want to be able to lease highly viable agricultural lands that are left untended or any space that can accommodate plants or animals. The duration of the lease will be about 3-5 years, to reshape the tract of land/space into something that will benefit the community. We say “space” because there are spaces in urban areas that can be transformed. Rooftops and abandoned buildings are two examples that come to mind. We can also put up community gardens in urban areas. This way, people will be able to see where the produce comes from, be assured of its freshness and the entire community can partake in the activity. Kids will learn to plant and to recognize planted vegetables. The garden can also be a park, an attraction/community centerpiece where people can visit and gain appreciation for agriculture and the work it entails. Finally, people can harvest the produce themselves, which would ensure them of the high quality of the products. This project also aims to build the capacity of youth and women; teaching them farming methods that are science-based, guided by the principles of sustainable agriculture and good agricultural practices. We will be employing and training them on how to grow these vegetables and herbs and raise animals. The main reason why we chose to work with youth is that the world needs young farmers to learn the skills and keep abreast with the technologies that modern agriculture has to offer. Training them in the scientific way of farming will lead to less guesswork and will help sharpen their minds to be critical thinkers. This project can help educate them, giving them a skill that they can parlay into a rewarding career.
In the remote village of Horina, slash and burn cultivator Rangabi Chakma is writhing in pain caused by period cramps. If she misses work today, her whole family will starve tonight. She can’t but travel 1.5 kilometers and climb hills to work. Every month a number of indigenous women in CHT face the problem of dealing with periods unhygienically and suffering from period cramps at work. Pills have side-effects and take longer time to produce effects. Government and pharmaceuticals have already launched campaigns to promote use of sanitary napkins. Still women miss out on work for days at a stretch. When they don’t, their efficiency decreases. Preferring to stay home over being embarrassed at school, many girls drop out from school eventually. With the objective to ensure participation of women and girls in work and education, I propose a convenient, portable package that doesn\'t harm the natural cycle of menstruation at Tk145 ($1.90): • Warm compress: As a cheaper alternative to a hot water bag, a woolen sock filled with organic ingredients such as rice/oats/beans, some herbs and essential oils (for the fragrance) will be used. It will be 7 inch long and 3inch wide so that it is portable and easy to wear; it can be heated just by keeping it near the stove. By keeping it within a heat proof bag, it will remain warm for 2 hours, more than the duration of cramps. • A comfortable panty with a belt: We intend to make underwear with durable, soft cotton cloth, made entirely from available local materials. The belt will attach and adjust one or more warm rice-stocks to the desired position in the panty to ease back pains and cramps in the lower abdomen. Since this can be made at home, it can turn into a potential industry giving emploment to many.

The era of manual way of learning in our schools is gradually coming to an end, and for schools to be measured up to their counterparts in this global village, they need to go digital. But this new method may not come handy for some students that are just average. This is why I want to provide a technology driven school which is cheaper, affordable, and where value for money is realised. SchoolCentra, I have sought to build a program that will best prepare students that cannot afford to attend expensive schools and at the same time gain access to learning resources, which will prepare them exams both internal and external, that will place them on the same platform with their colleagues in other part of the world. Also, it will help students to interact among themselves because it is a hub, converging the students of various age group together on a single platform.
My idea: the creation of a professional commercial sound-vision-theatre called «The Worlds» on the territory of one of the Ukrainian cities (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa or Zaporizhzhya) with the possibility of organizing tours across Ukraine and abroad. The project constitutes a multilingual international sound-vision-drama theater with the repertoire intended, first of all, for the perception of young viewers of different nationalities. The project contains national elements but at the same time is multicultural. Each production of «The Worlds» constitutes a theater performance consisting of the scenes where actors play according to the system of Brecht and vocal-choreographic scenes specific to the modern musicals. The plays are accompanied by demonstration of video sequences on a big screen behind the stage (video-mapping). The video sequences include subtitles (translation of the language which is unfamiliar to the audience), clips, «vivid background», computer graphics and other video effects. All the performances are created bilingual, the used languages are Russian, Ukrainian, English, French. In the future it will be possible to use more languages (Arabic, Chinese, Spanish), larger screen, more actors on the stage – up to grandiose media-projects. Thus, the theater «The Worlds» is a multilingual cultural and entertainment media-project which constitutes a symbiosis of classic drama theater and modern audiovisual show containing bilingual content and aimed at audience with different kinds of perception.
There are loads of activities that are competing for our attention and the Social media/Television are chief amongst the lot. More and more children who clearly know how to read are failing to narrate, convene or report the information gained from reading the book. They are reading or ‘cramming’ only for tests and exams and even failing at these exams, causing the government to consistently reduce the pass marks to enable students move on and this is leading to our school systems churning out graduates who daily fail to translate the knowledge to their daily lives. The purpose of the Foundation is driven by the need to improve the declining reading culture amongst the youth in Nigeria; promoting a life-long reading habit starting from the early days in children aged 5 to 13 years (Primary 1 to JSS3). This is also aimed at discouraging the youth from engaging in crimes and unproductive activities, encouraging like minds to read together and discuss their views helping them make better and informed choices. The idea is to set up libraries in public schools, organize and facilitate book clubs and reading programmes for the pupils in these schools. We will also set up Weekend book clubs and reading activities for children of the target age from private schools, bringing them together to read, exchange views on books, write reports and learn new words daily. The foundation will put 10 children through basic education yearly.
Because of the fact that 80% of Tanzanians are living in rural areas and this contribute about 64% of poor people who live under 1 dollar per day, unfortunately a country has 95.5 millions hectares of which only 44 millions hectares are classified arable but only 27% of arable land are in cultivation and only 0.3% are under irrigation. So typical main objective of this idea is to establish a modern agriculture project across the country as the only way to end the problems of hunger and malnutrition, on top of that other inclusive objectives will be to solve other problems like employment problem, poor living standards and problem of food insecurity across Tanzania, the production will focus on food production and cash crops production, and because of the fact that Tanzania is among the country which surrounded with fertile land and many water sources like big rivers like Wami River,Rufiji and Ruaha and dams but they still make low in Agriculture and 70% of the land are hand hoes ranted agriculture system dominated by small scale farmers so the plan will complete mark a total suppression and discouraging the practicing of traditional way of production into modern agricultural methodologies like use of fertilizers, tractors and irrigation scheme without depending on rainfall in order to ensure high production in agriculture,Under this plan first farmers will be stakeholders who will be provided with fertilizers, constant market, pest sides and irrigation facilities after making soil tests this will be at the genes stage.

Now-a-days we all are connected to mobile phones. So here I am going to introduce an idea of a mobile application that can reach knowledge to remote areas of world. My idea is very simple. The name of my application is “ClassRoom”. The main objective of this application is basically to connect the home and online education while concentrating on primary and secondary education. Moreover, this is tough for some students to understand the lectures of classes at once. Here, my application will work for those students. If a student is ill or he/she does not understand the lectures or so on what he/she can do is to enter into the app “ClassRoom”. There a student will get a Sign up option. Then the student can sign up with using Facebook or using Gmail account. There he/she has to enter his/her name, e-mail address and password. After getting signed up a student will get his/her profile after uploading the picture. There the student will get three options: 1. Country 2. Video Classes 3. Library Information The student has to select his/her country thus he/she can get his country’s important libraries’ location and information about books. Next the students will get Video Classes option. Here numerous videos will be saved about different topics of different subjects like Math, Science etc. So they can easily watch this, learn and can get their solution. The teachers will make the videos and save them in the application under our guidance. The countries will be divided into many sectors like Bangladesh has districts. The application will contain those countries’ sector number so that students can get their feasible choices. Therefore, they can go to the library and pick books with the help of a library card.

Feed my world farming is a potential trail to increase the ratio of food circulation between the poor in Africa. The minister of information in Nigeria claims by the year 2020 youths would be invested into the exporting of their well packaged good and products outside the country. The objective of this innovation is to provide enough food to totally end famine in Nigeria and the world and mainly create a medium in which youths could get occupied and being self employed. The approach is to acquire land cultivate it for various vegetables and cash. This project is seen to employ a backyard farming to every youth in Nigeria and employ over 3000 youths yearly. The major lack of certain produce would be streamed as different youths would be employed and funded for different indegenious produces around the world. This growth is meant to affect the country\'s economy and aid a raise in the GDP. In different part of Nigeria are divers produces but this project would also bring connectivity to easy accessibility as youths would be employed to take farm products and livestock down to each part of the country for easy accessibility and availability. Youths would also be trained on how to conserve produce, banning and other parts of brooding process and milking to make cheese and other things.
This idea aims at starting up a manufacturing paper carry bags in Dodoma Region, Tanzania. Thereby protecting local environment from massive destruction due to the excessive use of polythene carrying bags. Also the manufacturing industry will offer continuous employment to individuals from socially and economically disadvantaged groups. Paper carry bags are common packaging materials used by textiles and cloth merchants, dry cleaners, bakers, grocers, stationers, and sweet seller. Paper carry bag can hold up to 20 kg of weight without getting torn. The government of Tanzania and Big business today are increasingly becoming environment sensitive and wants to be seen as Eco-friendly. Establishment of shopping complexes and consumer stores in the rural, semi-urban and urban areas, the demand for paper bags has increased due to elimination policy of polythene carry bags, paper carry bags demand is growing very fast. There is huge market for paper bags, shopping bags, paper gift bags, brown craft paper and customized gift to shopping malls, franchises of companies and company showrooms among other.
The goal of my idea is to never let anyone feel forgotten, or be forgotten. This idea will be available to people of all ages and under any circumstances/medical condition. The way I will implement my idea is by customizing and programming artificial intelligence named ,\"FINI\" : Friend In Need Indeed. This works through the use of voice recognizing app that will greet the user and ask them of the things they need to accomplish in the day. By virtue of user voice recognition, it will aid people with the lack of prospective memory, or lack of episodic memory. Prospective memory means the ability to remember future tasks and also to be able to remember if an activity has been completed or not. Episodic memory is the ability to recall specific events that have relatively occurred. Thankfully, my app will help people with those specific problems while not letting the user feel inferior due to their issues. Fini will instead uplift the user\'s soul and brighten their days by reminding the user of their appointments, medications, and previous activities that they may have left unattended. The app will have access to the user\'s reminders, calendar and contacts. It will also store basic medical restraints or allergies in the notes and can say it aloud when user asks. My app will work only once the user has said\"Good morning FINI!\" and will automatically go on sleep mode when the user says, \"Good Night FINI\". This feature will allow the user to bond with FINI yet not be disturbed by her.
1. Problem: - Vietnam is a developing country, so a price of books, particularly academic books, is out of their affordability. As consequently, we found it very difficult as obstacle to prevent Vietnam education from developing to keep pace with the recent innovations in the world. - Universities of Vietnam and their library provide a lack of space to read books and for a group discussion activities. Consequently, Vietnamese student have fewer opportunity to practice group discussion, brainstorming, infinity diagram and other team working tools. 2. Solution: Redesign or build up a smart and modern library concept as following features below: - Apply RFID in library that all books would have been attached a RFID tag in order to control library activities easier. - Provide small meeting rooms with full of kinds equipment, opening rooms to encourage studying activities, especially group discussion. - Sell soft drink, water and other value added services such as magazine & book ordered service (To be charged) - Provide premier rooms for professors, organization and enterprises to hold extra ordinary activities such as soft skills workshop, functional skills workshop, training, seminar and so on.
The Youth Development Bank is expected to contribute richly to the achievement of the socio economic goals. The most important of these are economic wellbeing with full employment, high rate of economic growth, socio economic justice and an equitable distribution of income and wealth amongst the youth, stability in the value of money, mobilization and investment of savings for economic development in such a way that a just profit sharing return is ensured to all parties involved. This banking system is to be established under the youth development agenda aimed at developing a comprehensive vision of an interest free banking. The system will be tasked to mobilize financial resources for enhancing social wellbeing by promoting economic development along transparent regulatory framework. It will be dedicated to the elimination of the payment and receipt of interest in all its forms. This aspect makes the Youth Development Bank different in principle to other financial institutions. Profit and loss sharing will replace the interest rate mechanism in our financial framework which will act as a method of resource allocation although a large number of different contracts feature in this kind of financial system such as trustee finance, equity participation, membership fees, mark up methods, bank’s share capital, and demand deposits also act as a source of funds. Profits and losses on a physical investment are shared between the creditor (YDB) and the borrower according to a formula that reflects their respective levels of participation. The overall objective of the Youth Development Bank is to create an efficient, progressive and comprehensive financial system that will increase access to credit services by the youth and to contribute significantly to the effectiveness of Uganda’s financial sector while meeting the economic needs of the nation.
The Problem and Opportunity • Childcare centers in Australia need to invest in learning resources and promote sustainability as it is reflected in the National Quality Framework. • There is always a need for more learning resources that promote sustainability and giving back to developing communities. • Despite how Early Childhood Education is highly recognized and prioritized by Australian society, educators (the people responsible for delivering such standards of education) need to be more empowered to help them develop their craft and be financially comfortable to pursue unrequited passion in Early Childhood Education. • The Philippines, a developing country, does not have a proper early childhood program for children, and such kind of education where “play is the way” is such a foreign concept in government run daycares. • Early Childhood Education, being the formative years of a person’s life needs to be improved by building programs to retain more teachers, as well as by providing sustainable learning resources. • United Nations: “Every Child Has The Right To Play” . • Philippines is Asia’s hub for eco-friendly handicrafts. • Childcare educators in Australia deepen their passion for education as they find financial empowerment through designing resources. • Outsourcing design production reduces cost, yet empowers another nation. • Digital marketing allows cheap marketing overhead too, and operations cost.
“They are bringing drugs. They are bringing crime. They are rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. “ This is what Donald Trump had to say about Mexican immigrants. During the Holocaust, Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime killed 6 million Jews. The hatred of these people have the same underlying basis. RACISM. Racism is hammered into us from the way we are reared. So our judgment is clouded by artificial filter. Since racism is ingrained in our formative years, it is important to focus on the children if we want to make a dent on racism. Presenting “Glassroom”. An online software that connects students in countries culturally different from each other. Schools incorporating a cross-cultural coursework where students (of junior sections) will use this software to have video chatting sessions with others like them from different parts of the world. The students will talk about their lives, cultures, societies etc. neutralizing any biases or prejudices they previously had. Students simply login to the dedicated video chatting software and connect to their predetermined partners for the course. For every group of students there will be a “mother computer” which the teacher will use to monitor the students to ensure effective communication. The students will need to be verbally fluent in English as all sessions will be conducted in English. Video tutorials and FAQs about the software will be available at all times on the website. The pairing up of schools will be done using a randomizing algorithm so that no bias is present.
Urban Resolve is a way to make fixing issues in communities easier. It is a website platform where users can anonymously post issues they want to resolve in their area. These issues are displayed as a bubble (a circle) on a map where the issue is located. (Below is a picture of what it looks like). People who live within the community of a certain issue can vote towards getting it fixed (this increases the bubble\'s size and darkens its color), or they can post an entirely separate issue. Communities on Urban Resolve are found by grouping a certain number of postcodes together. Because of this, to find your community you simply enter your postcode and it will show you the map of your area and the current issues (displayed as bubbles) that are present. You can only post issues in the postcode grouping where you reside. This prevents people from spamming but also keeps the system direct, simple and effective. When submitting an issue on Urban Resolve, you give it a short title (as it will be displayed in the bubble), then a short summary of what the problem is (around two hundred words maximum) and the steps that need to be taken to fix it. You can (optional) add contact information so others can get in touch to discuss it. When an issue has been solved, the bubble will disappear and the next most popular issue will take its place. Urban Resolve\'s main objective is to give an easy-to-understand visual so members of communities can clearly see what needs to change. After the basis of the website is complete, Urban Resolve hopes to also serve as a platform for solution discussion.
Deforestation, desertification, inadequate access to hygienic water due to leakage of petroleum pipelines in rivers and fumes generated during cooking as a result of solid and fossil fuels being used are some of the problems contributing perilously to our environment and climate change. Increasing militancy in the petroleum-rich nations is as a result of petroleum being concentrated in a particular region which can be reduced when a sustainable fuel can be produced in every region in the country using their available resources. With a population of over 170 million in Nigeria, 75.96 million metric tons of Carbon dioxide emissions from consumption of energy in 2011, and over 70% of the population are below the poverty line. These spurred 78% population to depend on solid fuels for cooking their meals. The latter data shows the largest source of domestic energy in Nigeria is acquired from biomass, which is primarily being severed into pieces and used for cooking. This source of energy is conspicuous on the endemic health complications it levies on mostly women and children due to the direct exposure to the hazardous fumes. From the Controlled Cooking Test (CCTs) and Water Boiling Test (WBT) research we conducted comparing Kerosene, LPG, and ethanol as fuel for cooking shows the ethanol stove saves time and fuel consumed per 1 Kg of water boiled more than Kerosene making it affordable and it was found to be safer than LPG with its stove more portable. Our innovative approach is to design, construct a denatured bioethanol plant in Nigeria starting with 1000 litres using about 75% locally available materials and create an innovative business model for it as a fuel for domestic cooking supplanting Kerosene, charcoal, firewood and competing with LPG in the clean energy market.
Virtual Mobility System is a revolutionary social network that allows people to enter the virtual world using virtual glasses, where each person has its own avatar – a virtual version of oneself that one can control from distance, in this case, from the real world. The virtual world, on the other hand, is a platform that comprises scanned cities, either real or imaginary ones, outdoor and indoor facilities where people from all over the world can virtually meet, exchange ideas, share knowledge or just hang there for fun, with no travel expenses and complete safety. First, you should create your own account and an avatar. The account provides many features such as: friends list – so you can be in virtual touch with them; maps and teleport options; translate options – for talking with strangers who do not speak your language; choosing outfit depending on the occasion; documents – for presenting them on virtual business meetings. After that, you have access to every part of the virtual world and you can teleport wherever you want. However, there are some private places for which you need permissions. This allows privacy for selected people only, for instance, during conferences. Other places, like parks, streets or shops are public. You do not need virtual money to function in the virtual world, since using teleport, meeting people and exploring cities is completely free. If you want more, you can buy things virtually using virtual money, which can be obtained by contributing to the virtual society in many ways. There are quite some things that you can buy – from additional clothing to office buildings. The virtual world also has laws and penalties in order to provide a safe and pleasant virtual experience.
628, 106. A number which represents the people trying to make both ends meet every single day of their lives in Tondo, Manila, the most populated district of the most densely populated city in the world, Manila, Philippines – the birthplace of Sonder Initiatives. With the inescapable cycle of poverty brought about by the lack of education and economic opportunities experienced by the urban poor not only here in Tondo but also in the different mega-cities around the world, our Team came up with a timely and innovative idea that seeks to solve and altogether improve the living conditions of these individuals. The Sonder Iniatives is a social enterprise which aims to generate jobs for those living in crowded urban spaces through the production of polyester products. This is made possible through a machine that could convert polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles into polyester cloth which in turn, makes good quality sportswear and caps. Individuals from our partner communities would be then employed in the process of making such goods, at the same time, be educated about the adverse effects of plastic waste to the ecosystem and to empower them to be a part of a global solution by engaging in an economically and environmentally sustainable livelihood. Partnerships with local companies and even international organizations could also be forged in order to bring Sonder’s products closer to the market and with them, its advocacy of responding to the urgent call presented by the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. It is our mission to create a scalable enterprise for our partners enabling them to acquire life’s basic necessities through its ABC (Automatic. Bank. Cooperative.) Business Model. Sonder envisions a world where its communities are livable, its people empowered and its progress promotes inclusive and environmentally-sustainable growth

Children in rural and remote areas of Vietnam have a dream of growing properly and possessing the same height as their counterparts in the urban regions or in other countries. Peanut Milk is produced to fulfil the mission of turning that dream into the reality. Milk has been proven to be a good source of nutrition for the growth of children. Because of the financial constraint of their parents, those children cannot afford the thing which is thought to be easily obtained by everybody. In 2014, almost 1.9 million children under 5 years old in Vietnam are considered too short for their age (1). By producing affordable peanut milk boxes and distributing them to kindergartens in North Central Coast of Vietnam, which is one of the regions having the highest stunting rate, I aim to decrease that rate by 5% in the 3 year period. Peanuts are abundant in Vietnam (about 4.8 millon tons produced in 2015 (2)), but most local residents are not aware of their great benefit of nourishing children. Peanuts’ effectiveness in reducing the malnutrition of children has been proven by Ready-to-use Therapeutic Food, a peanut butter-based product provided by WHO to malnourished African children (2). Having identified a niche in the market as well as a good source of ingredients, I believe that our peanut milk has the potential to develop as one of the main sources of nutrition for children and contribute substaintially to the fight against stunted growth in Vietnam. Our slogan is ‘With Peanut Milk, Stunting is the past”. Live births data lacks desired vitality when sensitive information like a low birth weight less than 2500 grams is recorded with a pen and paper. In fact, is there a need to keep records of maternal age and home address inputs for newborn birth registration, if hospitals fail in her duties to track underweight child well-being? The good news is that mobile apps track user’s location and will enhance better collection of vital statistics, as I have knowledge of mobile land registration in Uganda. Mobile apps can as well fill communication gap between nursing mothers and health monitoring officials –one innovative approach not possible with surveys and sample size drawbacks. Hence, I have fivefold objective to: 1. Design, develop and implement a cloud based social infrastructure for birth registration in the age range of 0-4 years and reliably recognize mother & child fingerprints. 2. Provide reliable, timely and accurate data on newborn weight at birth in rural/urban communities; and facilitate communication through SMS to stakeholders before the first birthday of the child 3. Use algorithm to complement retrospective registration rates and updates manual birth certificates outside the domain of healthcare facility. 4. Determine optimal population metrics that will inform States government decisions to setup new schools inclusive of pre-primary education in strategic locations. 5. Facilitate equitable birth certificate issued at a fee in healthcare facility, local government centers. Re-engineer the statutory declaration of age in courts; and in turn verify and control falsification of age. Business activities: (a) Content management –including research, database maintenance, analytic services & publishing of intelligence reports on the value of information to support government policies and social programmes. (b) Web services –Verification of genuine e-Birth-certificates by Institutions & individual Nationals. Other innovative approaches are generation of Birth Reg. No. using barcodes & production of e-Birth-certificate.
This idea is primarily borne out of concern for those that are suffering from the problems associated with environmental pollution from the indiscriminate disposal of plastic waste. The people who suffer from these challenges are peasant fishermen living in the creeks and farmers. There is another problem of urban littering and blocking of drainage and canals. The resultant effect is flooding during the rainy season leading to destruction several properties. The focus of this idea is to convert these waste to wealth. How would it be done? All plastic waste will be collected by hiring young people who will gather them at the project site. With the abundant waste around, we\'ll never run out of \'raw materials\'. Our focus now will be to convert these waste to useful demonstration tools and equipment like simple farm tools, toys and models that will help children understand science and visual courses better. There is also an another innovative idea that will involve converting these waste to affordable housing materials that can be used to provide cheap and affordable housing for rural dwellers.
Fruiti-cycle is a low cost distribution solution for fruits and vegetables for small scale farmer in Uganda, designed with two major objectives 1. To increase market accessibility for local farmers in rural areas or less served urban areas 2. To eliminate the current 50% post-harvest losses in fruits and vegetables happening in the distribution chain due to poor handling, poor storage and poor means of transportation. The product is an electric motorized tricycle mounted with a detachable refrigerated storage unit for conveniently and safely distributing fresh fruits and vegetables. Fruiti-Cycle uses manual peddling energy to generate electricity then converts it up to 50km/hr motorized system. This energy allows a farmer to carry 5 times more produce (up to 300kg carrying capacity) every time unlike the current normal bicycles with 60kg carrying capacity. The energy also allows a farmer to reach far markets in a radius of 100km without getting exhausted unlike the normal bicycles that can only travel as far as 30km before a farmer gets very exhausted. Unlike other motor tricycles in the market, Fruiti-Cycle has a refrigerated storage unit which uses evaporative cooling system powered by solar to prolong the shelf-life of the produce during distribution and to reduce mechanical damages due to poor packaging. The storage unit is also detachable to be used within the market by market vendors to preserve their produce up to five days, significantly reducing the total post-harvest losses from 50% to only 10%.
Great quantities of tropical fruits like Banana, Pineapple, and Mango go to waste in Africa and particularly my country Cameroon. Using natural dehydrators, these fruits would be dehydrated to increase shelf life from just a few days to months. Providing organic healthy fruits that can be snacked on the go and stored for long periods of time without worry of them getting bad. Megafruits has its objective to eliminate waste, during the process bringing the target fruits in our offering to the market. Providing employment for the local farmers who have a ready market for their produce. Adding value to the local produce, by upcycling fruits meant for waste to quality organic dried fruits that have no added preservatives and sugar, sourced from the best raw material. The objective is to create a win-win situation Improving and creating a value chain from the local farmers through to the consumers.

Jamdani-Moslin these fabrics are the traditional identity of Bangladesh. In fact, these are the symbols of sophistication. These traditional components can play a big role in international fashion world, which will help us to achieve goal as partnership between two countries and gradually it may become more. In one sentence my idea is to export Jamdani and Moslin fabrics to Paris because Paris is the heart of fashion but these two traditional and sophisticated fabrics have not found there yet. By exporting them we achieve our goals, which are-to introduce Bangladeshi tradition in international fashion world and to give the village weavers a sustainable livelihood by earning foreign currency. However, to introduce these fabrics into international fashion world my idea is to contact with the fashion houses of Paris as well as the local fabric markets. Thus, I can bring my Jamdani and Moslin to Paris fashion market. Here, my idea is not to present Jamdani and Moslin as Saree but to present them in a way of western cultures. Thereby, it fulfills our relation of partnership to achieve our goals.
Simon Mainwaring, a world renowned brand consultant and thought leader, believes that most people nowadays, given every opportunity, would want to be part of something valuable and meaningful. This notion is evidence-based and continues to gain ground in business circles where a growing number of business leaders are realizing how devastating business goals have become and indifferent to the needs of a world gone highly uncertain today. This was espoused in his timely book \"We First: How Brands & Consumers Use Social Media to Build a Better World\" where he noted how more and more companies worldwide are being transformed by a new business mantra which gives serious attention and importance to purpose & sustainability more than profit & immediate economic gains. Consumption of products and services defines 21st Century living and consumers of today have more power to revolutionize how products are created and how services are conceptualized. Social tags will serve as a way for people to realize that their spending can be socially meaningful-- a platform to fulfill responsible cosmopolitan citizenship to change the world for the better. By doing certain social acts, a prospective buyer earns social tags which he/she may use to avail the product or service he/she wants at a competitively lower price. The social acts will be carefully assessed by a panel composed of select entrepreneurship experts, online shopping business representatives, and advocates from different & varying non-governmental organizations to further develop the feasibility & viability of the idea of social tags. Consequently, products advertised in a website that will be created for social tagging are expected to adhere to certain environmental and social sustainability standards to begin with. This is social tagging—a redefinition of consumerism compatible with the world’s growing demand for sustainably sourced products and services.
Realizing that many students do not have the opportunities to study science and engineering, especially the poor students, hence I want to create a learning environment outside the formal classroom so that they can further study the lessons learned from the schools through practical experiments, lecture-tutorials, assignments, and scientific research, etc. I want to set up a community education center, gathered a group of young people who has a solid scientific knowledge and the spirit of dedication to society, to volunteer to teach and support the poor students for studying and researching. My center will include three classes: Class A is for the weak students, students who participate in this class will be taught the concepts, the principles and the theoretical basis of science and engineering; Class B is for strong students, students who participate in this class will be equipped with advanced academic knowledge, theoretical study, problem-solving skills; Class C is also for strong students, students who participate in this class will carry out experiments, scientific research, technical innovation, etc; (The strong students have the right to choose between class B or class C to participate in, depending on their desires; the A-graders can participate in two remaining classes if their academic performances are improved).
By now, looking at the summary of my idea,it is quite clear that we urgently need to take steps to increase our recycling capacity and use it for good rather than just for commerce. My idea is to create a platform where people globally can come together to learn ways to decrease their carbon footprint and get acquainted with the techniques and steps that they can take for the betterment of our E-Waste management and decreasing our Carbon disposal, hosting campaigns in order to help them inscribe this ideology deep inside their paradigm, and help create the world a better place. I look forward to collaborating with Schools,Organisations,Companies, and Universities ,collecting all their recyclable waste on a daily basis and use the same to make products like water bottles, clothes, and other daily necessities ,and donating these products to underprivileged countries, war torn areas like Syria, and help educate children in these countries providing them with study material including recycled books. To successfully initiate this deed,I look forward to collaborating with local governments, and private recycling and manufacturing companies.Private recycling companies claim to recycle as much as 90% of all the waste they receive. These Collective Efforts will help make this world a better place, improve living standards, educate young children making them citizens of the peaceful future, help people stuck in war torn areas where even prevailing a few basic necessities is equal to a blessing, reduce our Carbon Footprint, and improve our E-Waste management techniques. Apart from this,I propose an exchange programme wherein people who benefit from our recycled products will be encouraged to participate in manufacturing goods and products relevant to their culture, help them sell these products on a global scale, and require a commission from the selling price to sustain our organisation and continue the good deed. I propose tech-ledge.com,not just for an awareness campaign, but lessons to teach people how to reduce their Carbon emission, and recycle more!
The objective is to build wrist watches that can help children to be safe and old people in medication. Currently we are trying to make 2 types of watches: 1. LifeWatch for Children : According to CDC, About one in five people who die from drowning are children 14 and younger. These nonfatal drowning injuries can cause severe brain damage that may result in long-term disabilities such as memory problems, learning disabilities, and permanent loss of basic functioning. In a Country like Bangladesh, where there are a large number of ponds, canals and rivers, the chance of drowning in high. Every year many children die because of this. So we are trying to build a waterproof smartwatch for children, using a sim900 gsm module, water level sensor & smoke sensor. Whenever a child gets in touch with water or smoke, the device will send an alarm to his/her parents phone. And through gps parents can easily know whether the situation is risky or not. Moreover, if the situation is risky, the children can be easily tracked, thus it can help us to reduce the post-drowning health risk. 2. Lifewatch for Old people : This watch will help old people in their medication. The belt on this type of watches will carry the most important routine-medicines. The watch will notify the wearer when it’s time to take his or her medication by alarming. Old people who have problem in moving can easily take their pills from inside the belt. We are also trying to add pulse sensor in the watch so that it can report when the pulse rate is abnormal. There will be also an emergency system in the watch.
In Brussels, there exists no place where young citizens can meet local organisations who are working on impactful project. Local organisations have a big need for volunteers to make a big impact on the country. On the other hand, young citizens want to build skills, experience and contribute to feel empowered. Creating an online and offline platform to create a connection between the two will greatly impact people\'s life in Brussels. Both needs will be fulfilled just by creating a place where they can connect. We will initiate and facilitate the beginning phases of becoming a volunteer and follow up with them to see if the organisation they are in really suites them and maybe redirect them to other local organisations.
The main objective is to reduce the illiteracy rate in underdeveloped countries, provide youths with better chances of success, equip youths with the ability to make decisions and be formidable for the future transitions of these countries. this idea is concerned with the provision of subsidised education for children and teenagers in underdeveloped economies (such as Nigeria), its aim is to focus on rural areas. Considering a major quality possessed by underdeveloped nations eg India, Nigeria, which is surplus labour, this project is feasible. A large proportion of skilled and semi-skilled labour can be directed towards educating children with the basic knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking, this is necessary to help them explore their options and better informed decisions in life. This idea also makes provision for handicaps (physically disabled individuals), they would be incorporated into the vocational aspect of this project, where they are equipped with different skills (for example, shoe making, painting & drawing, tailoring, various arts and crafts). Awareness for these programs would be targeted towards the youths (especially the less privileged) in rural areas and handicapped individuals to provide them with sustainable qualities. This project would also be an opportunity for various humanitarians to volunteer their services to the organization, increasing manpower and the welfare of the students. There would be no fixed fee payment (school fees), guardians pay as they earn or as is convenient for them, they pay a fixed percentage of what they earn; a limited number of students would also be under scholarship based on their financial status, payments can also be made in kind. This project that would adopt the use of various teaching instruments (visual, oral and practical), this aims at obtaining optimal result from the students.
The Carpe Diem Foundation is an idea that was birthed out of the need to bring out the best in the youths of today especially in Nigeria. This is due to the rising rate of violence, gangs etc. Some of our aims and objectives include: Giving skill, information and educated their proper locus in the minds of young people. Encouraging young people to push themselves beyond societal and environmental blockades. Helping young people develop a clearer understanding of the social, political and economic factors affecting their lives. Strengthening the awareness of young people on their own potential power to control their lives. Raising the consciousness of young people on the need to cultivate the strength of their youth and make it an asset.
Rwanda Government is fighting the dependency syndrome and encouraging innovation and job creationamong youths. On the other side, there exist few small scale youth training centers in Rwanda and this possess a question to youth where to find a training center. In this case, EHYH here we come, Our main objective is to educate youths on short-term courses and entrepreneurship by building self-confidence and awareness among them so that they can identify their potentials while ensuring quality education, integrity and profitability. EHYH\'s headquarters will be in Musanze district,Rwanda and later expand to other divisions.EHYH will offer computer science,Mechanics, construction, languages and other crucial services such as career, scholarship, loan assistance and recreational activities. EHYH will have its unique services such as offering business advices to youths before and after finishing their courses, promoting innovation spirit among youths, offering rare services such as career, scholarship, loan assistance.

Locality is one of the most serious reasons why enterprises cannot operate efficiently because of customers’ lack. This idea addresses that problem for the civil engineering sector and specifically concerns the provision of qualitative civil engineering without the physical presence of the civil engineer in the field. For the implementation of this idea, internet and high technological IT systems will be used. The services provided will be limited to structural civil engineering and specifically to structural analysis and design of new buildings, structural assessment and redesign of existing buildings, project budgets, CAD services. In order to provide these services, the engineer is based on the studies of other engineers (e.g. architectural sheets) and (the engineer provides the project contractor with construction sheets and instructions. The data that the engineer receives and sends can easily be transferred through the internet. The differentiation of the above will be based on the integration of the innovative approach of the organized provision through the internet. For that reason the above activities must be differentiated: • Webpage The enterprise’s webpage will be its main element. It will be the medium for the customers to learn about the business and communicate with it. • Marketing The brand of the enterprise must inspire trust to attract customers in a business that is traditionally provided differently. The marketing plan will include the webpage, email marketing and advertisements in social media. • Quality of the data received The quality of the data produced by a structural engineer depends directly on the quality of the received data. A procedure must be created, reassuring that the received data are accurate. A special form for the received data of each project including control points of them (photographs, measurements repeat etc.) must be created.
We want to remind people the power of shared values – taking care of their own interests and giving some meaningful values to the world could be achieved simultaneously. Each of us has the potential, which usually is not used properly. We get on great ideas, but we lack experience, finance, support, thus the plans would not be implemented. With the platform IfWepedia everyone will be able to share ideas, get feedback, find other people willing to embody or crowdfund this idea in life. We will supply the feel of satisfaction by getting points for new achievements and having fun using IfWepedia. We want to enable this opportunity to individuals, other organizations, the private sector. IfWepedia is created for young people - mainly students and young professionals. Those who are motivated to become empowered, self-developed, who want to make something above rules and above themselves. IfWepedia will gather people from around the world who collect points which then can be used to get some social profits - workshops, conferences, job offers. How? Combining potential of non-profit organizations with the capabilities of the private sector. We want to be a platform for other non-governmental organizations of exchanging interesting initiatives, trainings, conferences as well as a platform of private companies, who could promote themselves as supporting shared values and social issues. These conferences or sponsorship from private companies could be a reward for the IfWepedia participants for getting the highest amount of IfWepoints or sharing their ideas. To get ifwepoints you can carry out achivements, which will be updated all the time. The achievements will be curious, attractive, challanging, linked in paralel to shared values (more about how to get points is in video included).
The main objective of GREEN MOTOR is to stabilise the environment we live in. The major concern as of now is the protection of various resources. with every techie in the world working to save the future with their mind blowing innovations this GREEN MOTOR is a small step in that. I would call this as back to the basics Idea as GREEN MOTOR is basically a three wheel cycle which can seat two passengers and the battery can be charged using dynamos. It is an urban green mobility vehicle which can be drive both by manual pedalling and electricity if required. Manual pedaling is done by conventional chain sprocket mechanism , both passengers can pedal the vehicle individually and together. While in electric drive it is driven by a motor. GREEN MOTOR provides some health benefits to its people and help in the development of a sustatinable environment.

This all will be connected in one tag \"Marketed by Shreesahuji \" this tilted and innovative idea will do great wonders in worldwide.
Target No. 3.6 of SDG 3 mandates halving of Road traffic accidents (RTAs) by 2020. Pedestrian accidents form almost 50% of RTAs. When a boy in my Ballabgarh block was fatally injured by a car on his way to school, I developed the following proposal for avoiding pedestrian accidents: To design, build and test a wearable, easy to use and affordable device that alerts: (A) SIGHTED PEDESTRIANS, (B) HEADPHONE-WEARING PEDESTRIANS and (C) BLIND PEDESTRIANS of an approaching threat, giving at least 7 seconds of response time, with 0% error. My first two prototypes based on infrared and ultra sound circuits failed (2012). I developed a 3rd prototype for (B): A web camera mounted on a headphone which provided a live video feed processed by MATLAB (defined parameters, Gausisian Method, Blob Analysis) to detect approaching threats (2013). The technology worked but focus groups declared the device \'spooky\' (2014). Finally, I developed VISE-UP (2015) to mitigate RTAs for all three pedestrian types: (A), (B) and (C). WORKING: VISE-UP is a wearable, easy to use, affordable visor cap with 3 mounted web cameras that provide 360 degrees live feed of surroundings (120 degrees per camera). Inside the shade of the visor cap is a small on-board computer, RaspberryPi2, which uses image recognition (Haar Cascade Classifier Method) and algorithms to detect approaching threats. Upon detection, VISE-UP triggers a loud alert for (A) SIGHTED PEDESTRIANS in the pedestrian’s Android cell phone. For (B) HEADPHONE-WEARING PEDESTRIANS, their music is additionally muted (and a danger notification sent on mobile). For (C) BLIND PEDESTRIANS, VISE-UP triggers a wireless signal to his/her belt which vibrates vigorously in the direction of the approaching threat. In all scenarios, a pedestrian gets enough time to move out of harm\'s way.
Gaxi Mixit is a new product which is in its planning stage and can hit the market soon. The product has its main raw material being Cassava which will be processed into cassava dough and further processing takes place to reach the Gari Mixit final raw material of Gari. Gari is a food substance which is being loved by Ghanaian\'s and most African\'s. It has value for both rich and poor. But, the target for GARI MIXIT is to add more effects to the product and make it an innovative product. Thus, giving it a package, adding milk powder, sugar and some nuts and adding all in one package with a mini spoon and can be served. With this, the product can be served anywhere being it in a lorry pack, in public transport, office etc.
Stingless Beekeeping industry is among the industry which is growing in a large extent in Tanzania and in East Africa; this is due to the increase in awareness of the people on the importance of bees and their products. As the industry grow up many people engage on beekeeping mainly for pollination purpose, to get bee products and or to get both. People now are engaging in agriculture by using technology and green houses and they realize the important of bees in increasing their yield and improve their products. Stingless Bees are friendly and have the advantage of being able to pollinate different crop regardless of the size of flowers but also their product like honey is very expensive in the market because it’s three times the price of the honey of stinging bees. Due to the high demand for Stingless Bees Colonies there is need to open STINGLESS BEE BREEDING CENTRE which will ensure the production of many stingless bees colonies by using breeding method/technology. Through this technology we will reduce the destruction of forest which is caused by people who are looking for stingless bees nests in their natural habitats (forests) because this type of bees normally nests in trees carves/holes and in the ground. The big goal for using native stingless bees for sustainable development will be the creation of breeding capacity. The main object of this idea is to insure production of sting less bees colonies by using bee breeding technology which involves using a single colony to produce more than one colonies. The approach is to start a workshop where we will construct the special hives for sting less bees breeding.
Agriculture employs 70% of Cameroonian workforce, and virtually all farmers are involved in random agriculture and cut off from technology, costing millions to farming stakeholders, and sinking more people into poverty and hunger. Our cutting edge solution lies mainly on safe, efficient, sensitive and precise “DNA marker technology”, to clearly pinpoint useful information in seeds or farm location, in order to forecast farming output. We use this technology to provide direct services to farmers: pre-farming seed screening, on-farm pest/disease surveillance, and soil and water analysis. We carry out research on trait improvement of crops using Marker-assisted selection. In order to improve farmers\' income, it is important not only to boost farming efficiency but market access as well. So we propose a market networking service, linking farmers to fitting consumers, aiming at ensuring faster sales and minimizing post-harvest loss. Our solutions are for farmers who are more ambitious, seeking to improve their efficiency and income, and are uninformed at the prospect of a technology-assisted farming. This initiative would enhance productivity growth in the cropping sector through better tailoring breeding products and increasing adoption of informed approaches through direct/tailored genetics-based services for farmers, as well as improving or tailoring market access for farmers. This will be achieved through investment in activities (services and research for development) that: 1. Improve regional knowledge and awareness of molecular-based genetic studies as they relate to crop production and profitability, 2. Provide genetic solutions (non-genetically modified) to enhance desirable traits in crops (and/or suppress undesirable traits) and crop productivity in general. 3. Build research capacity in molecular breeding through national and international promotion of this initiative and through local adaptation of science disciplines (bioinformatics, genetics, genomics, molecular diagnostics, and pathology) with respect to agriculture. 4. Provide a tailored solution linking farmers to fitting markets including families, restaurants, and institutions.
Gari produced from white cassava has become staple food in Ghana and more than one hundred and fifty million people worldwide use it as their daily meals. The cheapest food used by students in Ghana is gari provided they get sugar and shitor in addition. Boarding houses , hotels, restaurants, etc. use it in preparing meals. I have realized that, too much consumption of white gari courses blindness in future. Students are future leaders of our country. If white gari which is the cheapest food actually courses blindness, something serious must be done about it to change this situation for the better. Vitamin A is important for normal vision, the immune system, and reproduction. It also helps the heart, lungs, kidney and other organs work properly. I have therefore realized that, if the vitamin A is fortified with white gari, as iodine is done to salt to become iodated salt, its consumption will no more course blindness. I am therefore creating awareness in people and educating them on these issues. I am also pulling up resources to establish a factory where mass production of Vitamin A gari will take place to feed boarding schools, hotels, restaurants, public markets, through out the country and even enter into the export trade. Hygienic Vitamin A gari which will be produced from my factory, will be put into different sizes of rubber sachets and well sealed after grading them. Name of the product, production date, expiry date, weight, etc. will be shown on each of the sachets. There is also another type of cassava which is naturally yellow. Yellow cassava is naturally rich in Vitamin A so, there is no need to mix gari produced from yellow cassava with anything.
The idea is to provide low-cost, highly efficient automatic drinking water dispensers in densely populated areas of the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This project is new and non-existing in Tanzania, and it is designed to achieve two main goals: Firstly, to eliminate recurring outbreaks of cholera in the city by providing safe, affordable and easily accessible drinking water, and secondly, to reduce the use of plastic bottled-water, that causes environmental pollution due to lack of effective systems of recycling plastic water bottle and in addition also higher price of bottled (in Disposable plastic bottles) drinking water makes one to think about finding a solution of that problem for the betterment of our society and environment. This business will provide self-service public automatic water dispensers that will provide drinking water at cheap price to fill the tumbler or refill reusable bottle in public places like university campuses, bus and railway stations. The vending machines will sell the water in volume- based refill. The machines will accept a Tanzania shillings 200 coin for refiling a glass of 300ml. This is cheaper compared to prices of drinking water in disposable bottles. The vending machines will sell both cold & hot drinking water in volume-based refills. Vision statement for the business is to be the best drinking water dispenser in five years to come with several stations at various major institutions (public spots, universities) and with the ability to increase its capital and employ more workers. The mission of the business will be to Provide and promote high quality services and ensuring sustainable safe water systems and environmental conservation using the quality inputs available. The objective of the project is to generate profit and provide the best and high quality services (safe drinking water) that will satisfy Tanzania citizen.
Econergco (Eco Friendly Energy Company) West Africa Limited seeks to pilot Smart Solar Microgrid Street and Roadway Lighting initiative in Nigerian cities so as to light up the streets and roadways in a green, clean and sustainable manner. Currently, streets and roadways in most Nigerian cities are not light up in the night as a result of erratic power supply from the main grid. These, which encourage crime and often times lead to accident while only a few states powered their streets and roadways with diesel generators. The LED street lights and wireless control system are expected to reduce the present annual electricity consumption by more than 61 percent, and thus reduced energy and maintenance costs while improving the quality of illumination and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. The use of diesel generators to power street lights is not only expensive to run, but prone to corruption and diesel powered engines are one of the largest contributors to environmental pollution problems worldwide as it emits tons of greenhouse gas into the environment. The Smart Solar Microgrid Street and Roadways Lighting Initiative will ensure our streets are powered with green, clean and sustainable energy that encourage growth and help the environment thereby making our cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
This product is targeted to help reduce the wide spread of malaria in rural areas and the country at large. This is a locally made insecticide product which is made from local active chemicals and resources which annihilates insects within few seconds of contact and with less impact on human it will provide symptomatic relief for upper airway congestion for humans due to additional chemical content. With a quite knowledge on cosmetology and chemicals in collaboration with professionals we will see the possibility on how to make the product serve as both insecticides and air freshener. We will improve the effectiveness of this product with Neem oil which is a natural insect repellant. This is natural biodegradable oil that can be used as a natural pesticide by local farmers for their crops. Having known that the chemicals in the market are expensive and not affordable by all we decided to come up with this idea so that it can serve as an alternative source for rural dwellers to use when cultivating vegetables such as tomatoes, spinach etc. The oil cake can also be used as organic nitrogenous fertilizer which can be added to the soil before planting heavy-feeding vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, melons, or cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage. Leafy vegetables like lettuce and spinach also benefit from high levels of nitrogen in the soil. The oil will be extracted either locally or using machinery so as to have the best yield. The product will be well packaged, affordable and of different sizes. Door to door, all round hawking and rural area marketing strategy will be employed so as have effective producer-consumer chain.
This idea was inspired by the Google Loon project. The weather balloon floats at the layer of air and flies at the stratosphere level, providing internet access to the remote area. It also was inspired by people who use the weather balloon to capture verge of space picture and study the science weather. Every time the weather balloon flies, it will be flying continuously without control and eventually it will blow-up once it is over-expand at certain altitude. So, people have to buy another new balloon envelope, need to refill the Helium gas then fly it while waiting for it to blow-up again. It was an exhausting cycle. Knowing that Helium gas is non-renewable resources and the Earth is running out of it, obviously Helium gas is not the sustainable way to fly the weather balloon. It sparks a question how to fly the weather balloon without using Helium gas? Then, the idea of Electric Weather Balloon was surfaced where induction heater is used to generate lift force and control the altitude. It is an innovative weather balloon because it is fully electric. Just like an electric car, it is electric version of Weather Balloon. What\'s the potential behold on this Electric Weather Balloon? It revolutionizes the way to fly at high altitude. You could control its altitude to fly up to stratosphere level and transmit internet coverage to remote area, taking beautiful verge of space picture, measure the intensity of carbon dioxide, study the ozone layer and collect data for the science weather or taking selfie. Besides, it has no rotating propeller so the noise is minimum and you could fly it as many time as you wish without worrying it will blow-up. In conclusion, it is the weather balloon that we all wanted.
CIC\'s main objective is to provide coworking office spaces in the suburbs of a city.(begining with Lagos, Nigeria). This is because most companies have their offices on the island while most of their workers live on the mainland. The workers have to commute an average of 5 hours each day to their offices coupled with bad roads, fuel scarcity and expensive fares to get to work, this ensures that valuable time is wasted and worker reach their offices tired hence a drop in their productive output. CIC is innovative in that co-working spaces, though not especially new in Lagos are real estate-centric rather than community-centric and are mostly on the island, which defeats its purpose to the workers. Also CIC aims at providing power, internet access among other services to workers on a pay as you use basis making it an affordable option for companies and individuals.
The main motives behind my idea is not just for the fact that I have passion for these field or the profit of it. But the fact that the youths are neglecting the important of agriculture and the benefit derived from it. Some of my main objectives are; 1. As a mean of job creation 2. As an economic source to the nation 3. To reduce rate of conflicts between cattle breeders( nomadic farmers) and peasant farmers 4. As an added nutritional value to the society 5.Cow fat/beef production for consumption 6. Finally, to serve as a learning centre Innovation/ Approach The first stage- this involves setting up a farmland with a ranch section, and a section for cross breeding(hybridisation research) of new variety of cattle breeds. The farm will also contain a milk n cow fat production section, which be treated and pasteurised for consumption and will be sold out at affordable prices. The farmland un cultivated will serve as a means of pasture (hay production) which will be sold out to the nomadic farmers in order to check mate their activities and reduce rate of conflicts.
The solar window introduced here is a new approach for sustainable energy generation through a Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) system that addresses some current issues people face when using solar cells in buildings. It is designed optically to be able to absorb more of the incident energy during summertime and let`s pass more sunlight during winters. This system is designed to harvest not only the direct energy incident on its surface but to gather part of the reflected energy on its initial absorbing surface accounting for up to 30% losses for normal solar systems. With such a unique ability it can reach higher efficiencies than of typical organic solar cells that are designed to be used as solar windows. This window looks transparent as a normal glazing unit, the issue that BIPV industry has always been struggling with. It also performs better in partly shaded situations and is less affected by pollution , dust and snow cover that decreases normal solar systems` efficiency and makes them demand more maintenance. The energy saved by using insulated glazing units in buildings is less significant when used in warmer climates than in colder ones. Introducing such a solar window will add more value on using insolated systems in such climates because it generates electricity that can contribute in cooling the building. This project consists of 3 phases: Phase1: To finish building the first commercial prototype aimed to be able to charge a mobile device like a tablet (having an output of 10 watt-hours) in 2 months. Phase2: To equip the first building with such a window able to generate 5000 watt-hours within 6 months, Phase3: selling 1000 square meters of such a window in a year.
My idea is a revolutionary all time solution for stitching problem not only in India but also for the whole world. Mainly based on an innovative app we will provide the facility to people to design their clothes on their own with wide range of designs. This is possible because we will tie up with local cloth manufacturers to deliver best service to our customers and the clothes with a design designed by them, think how they will feel on seeing clothes designed by them. This idea will make everyone a fashion designer . It seems that it require highly professional people of course but we will employ tailors from lower middle classes and would give them regular salaries and benefits making the sector of stitching organised. My main aim, goal and objective is to introduce this innovative new type of enterprise into this world and benefit some thousands of poor people who have an art but no support. On listening to this everyone will think that how this idea will get customers? the answer is our innovative app design will attract customers because of the above mentioned self design able facility, and according to me it will get a huge success.Because my herself is a tailor and a designer i with him are working on the idea especially on the app to reduce the toughness in self designing and making the process of measuring their own body size and entering into app easy.we are also thinking to have a door step service in which our people will go to customers house who are unable to enter measurements or design and help them in doing that which will benefit still more people. If all goes well we will also have a own delivery service also. This is my hopefully innovative idea.
There is no food waste collection services which make a lot food waste every where rotten and stink, the price of LPG bio gas cylinder is still high which make low income people to continue using charcoal and fire wood and make destruction of our natural environment. The aim is to minimize destruction of environment, reduce wastes and improve lives of people. Innovative approaches use are food waste collection services , bio gas cylinders storage and fertilizer bag storage which will make food waste to have new way of recycle into useful products by take dirty water, left over food, spoiled grain, fruits peeling and vegetable mixed with animal dung which will convert waste and turn it into methane in which result Bio gas and fertilizer. The fertilizer undergo other process by mix with liquid fish waste fertilizer which has no odor as it is already diluted with formic acid and is kept in solid form in special fertilizer bags while in dry state.
Development testifies about increasing grain yields, but youth continue to migrate away from grain growing towards cities. Development experts discuss how the “new \'golden age\' of agronomy” and production packages will increase Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) cereal, legume and oilseed (grain) harvest. However, the experts “are yet to see post-harvest as an integral part of the whole system” (Boa, 2016) or how stopping “Postharvest and related input Loss” (PHL) \"increases food availability without further use of land, water and other agricultural inputs\". And production packages that merely increase grain harvest lack meaning because inputs like “SMS based information, micro-finance, mechanization, seed, fertilizer, pest management” are wasted when improper drying and storage allows rats, birds, insects and fungi to cause “significant postharvest loss”. Mobile utility works by scaling where and when effective storage is needed. - Breathable storage mitigates condensation and protects many types of grain including paddy rice, inputs like seed or fertilizer with high utility metal roofs, walls and cone shaped floors that are raised above rats and ground water. Engineered to be robust, raised utility lets gravity to ease access, processing and cleaning. - Combining breath-ability, utility and integral wheels means Grain Distribution Logistics Infrastructure (GDLI) will scale to the amount and location of multiple harvests a year by “parking cost-effectively so trucks can go to haul heavy loads”. - Properly dried and stored in Mobile utility, grain is easy to monitor, handle and fumigate when needed, so grower investment is secure. - Mobile utility awards the “rights to park cost-effectively and leave stationary GDLI behind to enhance grower operations when and where they need to scale production of safe surplus food grain.
It is my excitement to expand more about my idea in details. Why this idea? This idea is coming in the right time to solve some problems we have been facing in previous years if it becomes alive. Uhiririra system will reduce the amount of money and time the farmers were spending on a field while irrigating some horticulture crops such as the combination of vegetables and fruits. Here, someone can ask him/herself how Uhiririra system is going to work and the process the irrigation will be taken through. Drippers or emitters will be connected across the field or farm parallel with the crops to be irrigated. Then, the sensors will be always turned on to detect the wetness and dryness of the soil. In case the sensors will detect that the soil hasn’t enough water, it will send a command to activate the water pumps which irrigate the crops using water from the connected tank. Once the soil has enough water, the sensor will again send a command to stop the irrigation. As this system is automated, it is going to be very helpful where the labors are scarce or expensive to hire. Uhiririra system will be composed of the following components: pump unit that will be connected to the water tank or another source of water such rivers, lakes and provides the right pressure for delivery into the pipes system without the intervention of the man powers. Control head, Main and sub main lines, Laterals, Emitters or drippers will also be the main components that will make the system alive. Then, as Uhiririra system is going to be automated, it will be helpful for the farmers and become permanent because it will be used many seasons that will be coming in.
Main goal of the project is to support inclusion process in Europe through promotion of social entrepreneurship. For achieving this goal, we need to: -Encourage Immigrants to popularize their culture, and kitchen is the best representation of this -Support immigrants employment through social business -Create culturally diverse alternatives of the catering services for organizations We plan to develop online platform, that will unite on one hand immigrants or organizations that are working with migration issues, and on the other customers: casual people, nonprofit or for profit organizations, who are using catering services for their events. The platform will be developed as a Web, iOS and android application. this will make accessibility easier. Parallel to this processes, we will on one hand start collaboration with organizations working with migrants, and on the other hand with organizations who will become our main customers. So when platform is launched, we will already have active events. Platform will also include information about cultures as well as recipes and stories from previous cultural events. The idea is to create diverse offers and include not only integration, but bring benefit to all involved countries by offering culturally colorful kitchen catering. Innovation: we suggest easy and cultural way of economic inclusion of migrants into local European communities. We use IT technologies to make things easy and accessible: we do not need buildings and expensive materials, as well as there is no need for kitchen gadgets. As easy as it is: we only create community, everything else is automatized by online systems: therefore there is no need to worry about any risks of investing money from the migrant\'s side. This idea does not request too much investments, while solves problem on various levels. the main thing we need is network, community involvement and good platform development.
My idea has started when I start observing how long the attendant will take to serve the passenger request such as asking for blanket and water. Also, to buy an item from duty free shopping , the passenger should call the attended. Then ask her to check if the item is available . If the item is available , Attendant will ask the passenger to fill payment form and then passenger will receive his/her requested item. The time that is taken to check for duty free shopping items and then the process to pay and receive the items take a time and sometime the attendant will encounter a difficulties due to weather condition. Also, I have noticed that some of airline crew are not aware of sign language hence they find it difficult to understand deaf passenger requests. Likewise , there are people who are suffering from a social disorder and they feel shy or they feel scared to communicate with airline crew. In addition, an old age passengers find it difficult to walk to toilet and wait for the toilet if it was currently busy. HSS is Android system based hat allows an Interaction between airline passenger and the flight crew. It will be designed to come up with a comfortable and luxurious services during travel in airplane. Moreover, Designing an online In-flight duty free section and shopping. Also, Create an additional services for the passenger such as: Feedback bar and availability of the toilet. Furthermore, increase the quality of inline services. In addition, organize the process of serving passenger requests efficiently and wisely.
SERO Online Campus is now an existing project that is currently running whose aim is to bring higher education which is affordable to rural eastern Uganda by providing an environment for students to be linked and trained in studying online so they can attain a degree, diploma or a certificate. Our innovative idea is simple providing high speed internet and linking offices for students who cant attain higher education to be able to study online in an affordable manner.

The global objective is to fight against poverty in rural areas by reinforcing youths to be creative. We will firstly plant the grasses that our animals will graze, construct stable for the cattle, train people how to take care of animals and protect them, feed them and give them treatment when they are sick. We will show them the importance of breeding that when you are a farmer it provides the fertilizer for their farms to get more crops .
The government of Uganda banned the use of plastic bags known as \"plyethene\" bags in Uganda because of the damages they cause on human health and the environment. 90% of Ugandans have been using these plastic bags to Carry things and cook food which is a threat on environment and human health. Companies shops and pharmaces have been using this bags to wrap in goods to their customers. I came up with an innovative alternative way of substituting plastic bags through designing and making PAPER BAGS from papers, manillas and other soft materials. I will be buying papers from paper industries from were they will be cut shaped very well in different sizes folded in form of a bag.I will use paper glue to tighten them very well they will also be printed in different colours with well printed words on both sides handles will also be put for easy carrying of goods by customers bags will be durable and inexpensive a bit different from other existing paper bags in the market. A team of youth, women and dropout from schools will be trained basing on entrepreneurial and managerial skills, the training will take like two weeks and after the course I shall buy starting materials for example manillas paper gum printing materials and others which will be needed in the process. Part of my team will be let to go in the field to search for the market which I believe is there were by we are targeting supermarkets, shops hospitals and restaurants plus government bodies. Newdays paper project will also give products on credit provide after services to our esteemed clients this will help us attract customers eaily. My main aim is to cover Uganda through opening up different branches and also export to other countries.
There are many opportunities in Northern districts to produce and sell goods made out of locally available natureal resources but young people in the area are not prone to think of such opportunities available for them and also lack of knowledge and practical skills on how to produce such finished goods. There is lack of training opportunities in the area and where such technical training opportunities exist, the youth are often not able to pay the fees of the training. Youth also have limited access to required startup capital due to lack of collateral, fear of risk-taking and high interest rates in existing financial institutions. To address the above mentioned challenges, Tour De North Bambo Village project will offer training in shea oil production, shea crème and shea soap making. The project equips beneficiaries with practical skills in those products using appropriate technology with a cottage industry approach. This prepares the beneficiaries to produce traditional shea oil for food consumption, laundry soap and shea crème for both domestic use and market sales using shea oil and other locally available materials. The training takes one week for each group and the technology requires locally made wooden and metallic equipment and plastic utensils that are cost effective and affordable by all classes of people. Linkage to existing finance institutions; beneficiaries are linked to youth friendly financial products so as to increase their access to capital. Given the limitations faced by potential entrepreneurs in this business field; Training in group dynamics and formation of working groups: beneficiaries are equipped with knowledge on group dynamics so that they are able to startup. Entrepreneurship training: the project equips beneficiaries with entrepreneurial skills so that they are able to apply the practical skills into viable business ventures leading to job creation like ILO’s start your Business
The idea of establishing a recycling plant would cost a lot and that is why the main objective of this idea is to establish fund for the start-up of the recycling plant of plastic waste to fuel. Other objectives include employment opportunities for youths with or without a degree. In Lagos there are many youths on the street who pick scrap daily from the dump sites but don’t they could convert those waste at the dump site to cash. The need to educate them why they should collect these waste plastics and the type of plastic bottles needed for recycling. Homes also would be educated on how they can sort out these plastic bottles and keep them clean in a built wooden waste bin where we collect from them weigh and deliver it to recycling plant. There would also be a sub-station where those who look for plastic bottles on the streets with trucks they push or those who collect it with bags to drop at the substation for easy access. At the substation we weigh, sort and remove harmful plastic waste. It makes it easier for them to drop it and get paid that same day.
Unemployment levels in Uganda have are at 80%. The highest number of unemployed people is also the youth who make up over 75% of the population. The youth in the country, Africa as well know the problems at their doorsteps and also hold the solutions in their hand. The solution to the problems facing African neighborhoods is in the hands of the young people/ the artist at your corner. Through out history, art and design has created innovative solutions to problems in the world ranging from furniture, housing, wells, energy solutions and so on. There is great potential in the art world from which Studio Makula intends to exploit. Studio Makula identifies artistic and innovative talent. The activities we engage in are, scouting for talent, arranging competitions with specific outcomes in mind where winners are selected and supported, design collaboration and discussion, product prototype development and product design, furniture and interior design, architectural visualisations among others. The vision of the project is to, CREATE, INSPIRE AND INNOVATE.
Garbage barter scheme is an initiative to solve waste challenges in Sagamu. It is all about collecting unmanaged waste in the community(Organic waste) freely from people,in exchange with sorted non organic waste. In my community, waste management has been a challenged, 10percent of the waste generated are being managed by government which end up in the landfill. Moreover, the community is left with the remaining waste which is either burned or disposed inappropriate which causes environmental crisis. According to one of the UNICEF reports, household pollution leads to 4.3million deaths annually, and 13 percent of these are deaths of children under five years. Also, limited resource has becomes the cliché for the poor,so If they can organised and mobilise their own resources to improve the service they need,it will go along way to mitigate climate change and live in a clean environment. In addition, there is a bridge in communication between the waste vendors and individual household in term of health related issues. This idea will bridge the gaps by packing the garbage freely without them paying money, but they will sort out the Inorganic waste which will serve as Money for the service render. Moreover, whatsap group would be created as a means of communication in case of any health related issue. Finally, the inorganic waste will be recycle and it will serve as raw materials to the manufacturing industries. It will also create jobs and income to the poor in the society.

The main objectives are: • To educate travellers on the natural sites and sustainable tourism, • To create employment to reduce poverty as surrounding farmers will be able to sell their organic products • To innovate the tourism sector activities • To be a role model for sustainable tourism • To maintain natural sites. The activities of the project will be either to build a 100% customised eco-catamaran and other sustainable leisure equipment for implementation of several eco-packages. A crew will be recruited and packages finalised before the start of eco-cruising and landing on islands. The innovative approach is the ecological aspect in view of promoting sustainable tourism and use of clean energy while educating travellers.
YOUR WASTE CAN SAVE A PERSON. My idea is to make a quality mosquito nets from a recycled plastic.Normally mosquito netting can be made from cotton, polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, or nylon . And as we know some of those materials are expensive for example cotton is US cents 67 per pound. That is why a good quality mosquito net costs USD 32. In 2013 an estimated 198 million cases of malaria occurred worldwide and 500,000 people died, mostly children in the African Region. In 2015 Rates of disease have increased, there were 214 million cases of malaria worldwide. This resulted in an estimated 438,000 deaths, 90% of which occurred in Africa. As we can see most of the victimes are from Africa especially in rural areas .Does it mean there are no mosquito nets in Africa? No,there are mosquito nets in Africa. The question is, Are they affordable? Can a person who earns USD 70 per month afford to buy a quality mosquito net which costs USD 32 for all his family members? But from the plastic waste that cost nothing ,we can save a life of a child, mother, etc. We can make good and quality mosquito nets from recycling plastic waste. That a low income person can afford,According to Wikipedia “Malaria is commonly associated with poverty and has a major negative effect on economic development” that shows people who are mostly affected by Malaria are the low income people mostly from Africa region. Not only that we will be saving a life but we will be saving lives of the millions of people and providing employment at the same time for the same people and preserve our environment.
According to the World Health Organization, every year approximately 16 million girls aged 15 to 19 and another 1 million girls under 15 give birth with majority (95%) of the births occurring in the developing world. In developing countries when a girl gets pregnant, she leaves school either voluntary or forced. She faces shame and stigma from her parents, schools, peers and communities. She also receives little or no support which leaves her vulnerable to homelessness, poverty, abuse and sexual exploitation. Although there are organizations in developing countries that provide support for adolescent mothers, many of these organizations lack the training and resources necessary to effectively meet the needs of adolescent mothers. Organizations also face barriers to obtaining and sustaining support due to the stigma associated with adolescent mothers. Pearls of Potential believes in the importance of building the capacity of organizations, through developing and strengthening skills and resources, to effectively meet the needs of adolescent mothers. We are building upon existing approaches but making them specific to the needs of these organizations. Pearls of Potential will provide a comprehensive service package to our clients for a period of no less than 12 months. This service consists of: - Initial Consultation - Site Visit and Site Visit Report - Needs Assessment - Monthly Calls - Six Month and Annual Progress Reports - Training and Technical Assistance - Staff Liaison for follow up services Pearls of Potential also provides a la carte services such as grant writing assistance and specific trainings based on the needs assessment such as adolescent development and child-parent attachment. At the helm of Pearls of Potential is support, collaboration and partnerships. We believe in meeting the needs of the organizations and adolescent mothers and therefore take a listening and guidance approach when working with them. .
Entrepreneurial idea at Gaza strip with new technology for examining of gold and silver caliber , extracting of silver from chemical wastes, reused it and saving environments from chemical pollution by using safety methods of analysis and recycling process, the main benefit/value of this laboratory is keeping people away from fraud, to make them realized about the importance of knowing the caliber of gold and silver, and to help precious metal\'s traders to know the precise caliber of ingots in order to produce accurate products free of fraud (Compliance with specifications). RenewDrive is a recent idea born out of our passion to create a lasting solution to environmental problems, faced by vulnerable populations in the marginalised communities of Nigeria. We realised that far above advocacy and sensitization around climate change, waste management, as well as access to clean livelihood, it becomes necessary to design and implement tangible solutions that will address various environmental issues affecting majorly the rural/urban poor. This initiative differs from what we have been doing in the past, because it is more of a practical-based approach to adapting to and mitigating various effects of climate change in our communities. Ultimately, we aim to connect women in marginalised communities to the alternative clean energy needed for safer cooking at an affordable cost. The impact goes beyond household cooking. While making cleaner form of cooking fuel (when compared to conventional firewood and charcoal) available in rural communities, it also create a veritable source of economic empowerment for women and youth that might be interested in producing and retailing carbon-neutral briquettes made from renewable biomass waste. Objective: Even though there are other forms of cooking energy to be explored as we progress, carbon-neutral briquettes made from agricultural waste as opposed to conventional ones are more sustainable from a climate change perspective. In Sub-Saharan Africa, wood-based fuels account for over 80% of primary energy supply (IEA, 2006). This is certainly not healthy for our environment. You can as well check us on http://renewdrive.com
Roadside toilets Services is an idea which will involve building modern toilets services along all major highways in the country. This idea has been conceived following two major factors: environmental factor and human sanitation factor. In environmental cases, there has been unhealthy tendencies of long distance passengers of throwing waste and plastic materials out of moving buses. Most of these particles never decompose with the soil, which pose direct land pollution. Meanwhile, long distance buses have barbaric tendencies of dropping off passengers along risky bushes and forests for toilets services. This situation risk human safety and their journeys. The primary objective of the project is having an inspiring project and making it a premier case study in order to ignite other business ventures, investors, or funders, to build the same other projects along the rest major highways in the country. The project will have waste treatment facilities for treating waste materials and processing plastic materials into decorative stuffs. Through free monthly environmental leaflets, the project will raise environmental awareness and knowledge to communities through passengers who will spread such knowledge back to the communities. Our mission is to provide a unique and relaxing services with regards to roadside reserves as particular and environmental conservation at large. We will strive to achieve these through: enhancing liveability in the community by improving safety journey to long distance commuters, accessibility in services in regard with gender, age and disability. We will also be devoted in environmental sustainability and convinience of our public toilet facilities in line with improved safe water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in closets and their compounds. Finally, we will be very mindful to the well being of our customers and staff by selling our solution to them with respect and dignity (problem solving centric project).
Tobago\'s Own Agricultural Resource Center aims to train the next generation of farmers through hands-on educational programs and provide services the agricultural community needs to stay viable. This organization will develop an innovative curriculum with a structured entry level education and training program in sustainable agriculture. It is envisioned that this facility would be a private non-profit organization situated in a location that would be convenient for the general public and large enough to provide a variety of agricultural services. The center which will feature predominantly organic farming will incorporate traditional aspects of a farming homestead such as barns, live stock stalls, pastures, crop operations and demonstration areas. Students and visitors would benefit from learning organic agricultural best practices and the importance and economic benefits of local food production and other agricultural activities. There would be demonstration subjects that would include gardening, forestry and bee keeping etc, and areas to accommodate activities such as clinics, seminars and competition together with a recreation area that would serve as a nature park open to the public.

The news and reality of over 80% (www.naija.com) of schools in Nigeria operating way below the standards attainable, with poor infrastructures and a seeming lack of qualified hands to train available students coupled with the decrying nature of low girl-child education enrollment across the country (Since education is the process through which individuals are made functional members of the society (Ocho, 2005) .It is a process through which the young acquires knowledge and realizes her potentialities and uses them for self-actualization (Offorma, 2009). Education has been described as the most important aspect of human development, a key to a successful living, especially girl-child education (Michael,2011)). Denying the girl-child access to education implies making her a dysfunctional member of the society, hence leaving her unable to handle the psychological, financial, emotional, socioeconomic, mental and physical burdens and stress that come with marital and family life. Statistics show that many girls are not enrolled in school. The global figure for out of school children is estimated at 121 million, 65 million are girls, with over 80 percent of these girls living in sub-Saharan Africa including Nigeria (UNICEF, 2007). ActionAid International (AAIN) cited by KIKI (2010) reported that, not until recently, in a school of 150 students in Northern Nigeria, only 2-3 students are girls. Even at that, girls in this region do not have the right to choose education. In seeking for a lasting solution to these challenges, The Mobile School strategy was born which promises to bring basic academic and entreprenerial training for over 1000 girls at Katcha Local Government and its environs denied any form of formal schooling just for gender, sociocultural patterns and early marital reasons.

One of the major problems faced by most countries in the world, most especially the developing and underdeveloped countries is Malnutrition. Sustainable Development Goals \"No Hunger\" and \"Good Health\" are ettled towards solving this problem. Good health can be achieved by implementing a number of practices of which consuming balanced diet is one. Malnutrition has incapacitated the future leaders of countries battling with this problem, it has and is still claiming live. The common malnutrition problems are Micronutrients Deficiency, Protein-Energy Manutrition. EatWell Africa has taken the bold step of repackaging a natural product which solves one of the greatest problems posed to mankind-Malnutrition;which is the packaging of Locust Beans into cubes. Locust beans is a rich source of sugar, protein, ash,Vitamin A and Vitamin C. With 67.3% carbohydrate and 6.56% protein, locust beans combat the problem of Protein-Energy Malnutrition; enriched with Vitamin A- it solves a heart breaking yearly occurence of Vit A deficiency related blindness which occurs in about 250,000-500,000 children(WHO \'16). With Vit C, Locust Beans serves as an anti-oxidant and promotes wound healing. Since Locust Bean Tree is widely distributed in Nigeria, EatWell Africa enjoys the advantage of harvesting the Locust bean pods in the SouthWestern part of Nigeria. This technology embracing packaging technique breaks the barrier of inavailability of the tree in other countries. Locust Beans packaged into cubes can be used as a seasoning in cooking culturally cherished dishes in Africa and across the world. Locust Beans has been tested and found useful in managing hypertension-a leading cause of preventable deaths across the world(Bioline International). over the years, preservation of Locust Beans has largely been by drying it which fails in preserving it over a long period of time. Packaging of Locust Beans into cubes by EatWell Africa, problem is solved, makes the product durable, without reducing its nutritional value.

My idea to provide medical treatment to old people in their homes. This clinic will be as direct contact between the doctor in his office and the nurse who will be available with patient to give her/his treatment. Sometimes all family members busy with their jobs and daily routines. So, they don’t have time to take their parents to hospital. Maybe the transportation not available. I think this idea can be viable because the community need for these types of clinics. 4 staff required initially. 1- Driver for the mobile clinic to take the nurse to patient home. 2- Two nurses to disclosure of the patient condition. (Philippines nationality) because they always keeping smile and can deal with old people and with their conditions. 3- Doctor to diagnose and to give the treatment to patient.
VILLACANE seeks to add value to sugarcane and its bye-products by converting them into beneficial and economically viable products utilizing environmentally friendly production and processing technologies. Sugarcane has a variety of uses ranging from ethanol for fuel, jaggery as a replacement for sugar/sweetener, raw juice, the bagasse for disposable products (e.g. plates, bowls, buckets, etc.), plastic replacement, construction materials, flour, clothing, molasses as food for cattle, etc. It is good to note that sugarcane products such as the juice and jaggery have become a widely preferred choice of fruit juice and sweetener respectively to the well-known refined sugar due to its nutritional and medicinal/health benefits, taste and low cost. The general objective of our idea is to process and market high-quality, fresh, hygienic and affordable sugarcane juice, at least for the first two years of operation, to refresh persons of all age groups whilst creating ready market for sugarcane farmers and employment opportunities for the youth. After the first two years of operation, all things being equal, we intend to scale up our operation to include the production of jaggery – as a substitute for refined sugar and the production of charcoal by using sugarcane bagasse – to forestall deforestation. We intend to adopt tried and tested innovative mechanisms/approaches used in other parts of the world through the use of the latest machinery, approach, flavouring and preservatives. We also intend to adopt innovative marketing strategies to enable us create public awareness on the health benefits of our products.

The discipline of mathematics and science presents many challenges to dissimilar learners. Mathematics and Science have often been termed the “gatekeepers” of success or failure for high school graduation and career success. Students fall below their expected level of mathematics and science achievement for a variety of reasons. When asked why they were not as successful especially in learning mathematics, many people reply that they “never understood math,” or “never liked it because it was too abstract and did not relate to them.” Children’s education often focuses on learning through play, based on the research and philosophy of Jean Piaget, which states that playing meets the physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social needs of children. Children\'s natural curiosity and imagination naturally evoke learning when unfettered. It is for this reason that Funlab Initiative seeks to developing the study standard of Mathematics and Science among children in schools across the country. With the prime objective in raising children’s interest in the twin subjects, the initiative runs innovative programs in consonance with the West African Examination Council standard, by adopting fun-learning alternatives i.e. Science through play – based activities (fun games and making the study practical) and other diverse approaches to invoke children’s interest in the twin subjects.

Vietnam’s higher education is facing significant challenges when the country’s economy is growing sustainably. The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET, 2015) reported that 72.000 graduates do not have jobs because of lacking experience and critical thinking skills for good performance at work. The shortage of essential skills has limited the chances for graduates to work in international environments. With teaching and working experience, we believe that students need to be well-equipped with not only content knowledge but also practical experiences. Among the best teaching practices case study learning is an effective method that can help impart students with critical thinking skills (Popil, 2014). Hence, we will build an e-portal called casestudy.edu.vn providing the most real world related business cases. Both domestic and international cases can be interpreted for several disciplines which are most topical for the dynamics of the emerging market but deepening integration into global market such as Vietnam. Students will be encouraged to exchange their ideas and participate in both online and offline discussions. Students will apply knowledge and skills to solve the problems. The cases will be designed to improve their critical thinking skills with hands-on activities. Working on the cases requires students to research, evaluate multiple sources of data, and foster information literacy. Students will be constantly mentored to express their opinions and ideas. The e-portal will be a bridge for those who desire for skills and would like to perfect their knowledge through researching and exchanging the case studies or practical experiences of enterprises and successful entrepreneurs.
Tyre Recycling rubber is called RUBBER CRUMB which is suitable for production of another product. By recycling Tyre, we help the environment by contribute to solving pollutions, easing the energy shortage and create huge economic benefits in Nigeria and Africa, instead of piling up in the local landfill and potentially starting a hazardous fire filled with pollutant and as well become member of fast growing industries. Recycled tyre can be broken down for use in other products, and if the used Tyre are still in good condition it can be re-tread, which gives them additional life where they can be resold at cheaper price compare to new. Crumb rubber is high quality rubber products which are shred and broken down into 3/8.inches (.95cm) particle size and its can be re-used by many industries, especially by building materials industries for constructions (Rubber asphalts) which are used in countries like Canada, America and European countries in construction of their roads, because its minimize the road noise while driving and more durable than ordinary asphalt. Finer synthetic and natural rubber (after treatment) can be used to produce tiles and tiles adhesives, mixing with asphalt, sport surface construction (basketball court, football pitch, Long-tennis pitch, running tracks, noise and vibration insulation, Playgrounds for children and schools, rubber mulch, mud flaps, fuel, patio block, rubber Matt.etc ). Rubber products determined the equipment plants involved but basically includes; i. Tyre cutter. ii. Tyre shredder. iii. bead remover. FOR TILES MAKING. Tiles making required tiles production plants which includes: Mixer: To mix crumbs rubber, Pigments colorant (to gives rubber any color needed) and Epoxy glue (to make it solid). Moles: Gives it form and designs, sizes and shapes. Dryers etc. Roads, floors & sport surfaces wet-pour construction needed Mixer, Trowel and Trowel lubricant etc. Condemned used tyre consist 70% of crumb rubber,15% fibre and 15% metal. These gives us extra marketable products.
Objectives and Goals: are to create many full-time and part – time jobs, provision of cassava products with health benefits at affordable price. Freshly harvested high improved variety of cassava yellow root obtained from the company cassava farm will be mechanically or manually peeled with a machine or kitchen knife, washed and sliced into cylindrical chips of 3mm-5mm thickness with a chipping machine. The gram total of wet cassava chips will be spread thinly alongside fresh coconut edible parts on stainless steel trays or on cemented floor and dried in the sun at ambient conditions, with the prevailing atmospheric temperature of 32oC and humidity at 55% in the cabinet drier at 55oC for a period of 8 hours. The dried cassava chips and coconuts will be allowed to cool and stored at ambient conditions in high density polyethylene bags and sealed. The dried chips will be milled into 600-micron particle size coarse flour (7% moisture content) and then rehydrated to 67% moisture to stimulate the moisture level commonly found in raw cassava, to produce cassava mash. Fresh cassava mash will be prepared and added at levels of 0% to 50% to the cassava mash base. Each mixture will be stirred together with fresh coconut milk and water manually and allowed to ferment naturally for a period of 72 hours at room temperature in a 100 litres plastic bucket with lid. These changes in the starch structure of the starch granules will however favour its digestion by amylolytic enzymes and consequently its hydrolysis into maltodextrins, glucose, lactic acid and other starch derivatives. l also discovered that the fermenting chips contained higher concentration of lactic acid at between 48 and 72hrs of fermentation, than in the chips that did not contain fresh cassava mash.

OBJECTIVES: Nigeria is classified by world bank as low middle income, and Nigeria has above 150 million population. 70% of the population remain without health coverage, house hold spend about 2.1% of their total consumption on health, many people cannot get access to health due to financial constraint. With this waste clinical insurance which uses waste product as a financing tool, this can make the community mobilize their own unused resources to improve healthcare access, and break down the barrier between health facilities and community members, and at the same time get waste out of their environment thereby ensuring clean environment and reduces the rate of infections in the environment. It will also help them to save money that they would have paid to government to dispose their waste. ACTIVITIES: With this program, community gives their waste to the clinic regularly, afterward, the collected waste product will be processed in two ways: organic waste to fertilizer by compost method, and the inorganic waste will be sold to collectors. Each month, the money collected will be used to cover the health care need of that community in holistic matter. The work will mostly be done on volunteer basis and at the end, stipends will be paid to the volunteers. The worker will consist of both male and female. Mini pharmacy will also be set up. INNOVATIONS: There are number of groups with waste collection initiative and insurance scheme, however we are the only one to combine both in Nigeria. Our distinctive characteristics are (1) using waste product. (2) applying holistic health system (3) social enterpreneurship and social engineering (4) broad access because all citizen can join the program (5) community independence (6) increase value waste product exponentially (7) manage sanitation improvement (8) provides employment for the residence of that community.
The low industrial use of non-food or extractive products is a major problem in Cameroonian market. To solve this problem and valorize those materials, we designed massage candles made using local components. A massage candle is a special candle: cold, it looks like a normal candle but once the light is on, the wax transforms into massage oil. It’s a modern massage technique made possible by lowering the melting point with the right combination of wax, butters and oils. The wax which will be used is the beeswax. Produced by more than 200 beekeepers families, the 235 tons produced in 2015 were totally exported. All the components will be buy from locals farmer’s organizations, transform by us and deliver to the customers. Our first targets are high class beauty centers which are estimated at 800 in the cities of Douala and Yaounde. With an annual income of minimum 45500 USD, they offer a large range of services including massages which are the first income when there’s no hair care. In comparison to the hand-made oils actually used, our candles offer a large range of advantages: • Quality and traceability of the materials: We will buy from local and biological farms. Fragrances or chemical additives won’t be added. • More benefits for the skin: Our massage candles are made using beeswax, vegetables butters, oils and essential oils. • Longer shelf life than those of hand-made oils actually used • Better price. • Innovation: To establish customer’s loyalty and continuously attract new customers, beauty centers have to stay in the mood. The idea is innovative, not only because candle massages are new in central Africa, but also because it’s a new way to valorize local production and consumption.
Our objective is to ensure that we have a cleaner and safer environment that will ensure lasting sustainable development and avoid drainage and food wastages.
The emphasis is on English as Second Language (ESL) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The objectives are to develop students’ ability to use English Language Skills especially speaking skills and higher order thinking skills of the students in rural areas of the interior region of Sabah. Sabah is considered as the least developed state in Malaysia and the area that I am focusing on is known as interior region of Sabah which encompasses several rural areas. The students have limited access to resources, facilities and experiences of English language and they are less exposed to the world that their level of thinking still remains low. As a result, they need help to develop their language and thinking skills especially in their abilities to develop and express their ideas through the use of English. This will assist them in developing their self-esteem, confidence and attitude to be effective citizens that possess the aspiration and capabilities to overcome global issues. This programme will be first implemented in Keningau Vocational College before it is expanded to other schools and areas of the interior region of Sabah. The core activities are public speaking, poetry writing and recitation, storytelling, group discussion, debate and philosothon. The activities will be introduced and put in practice through classes, workshops, tutorials, and competitions. The innovative approach to this programme is the application of various thinking tools which have been modified to develop students’ competence in ESL and HOTS. Some of the tools are thinking maps, six thinking hats, SCAMPER, Thinker’s Keys, Q-Matrix, the CoRT Techniques. These tools are modified to include ESL learning strategies especially the approach of Communicative Competence in language teaching as well as the use of SOLO taxonomy in order to help students to deepen their thoughts.
Family planning and leadership are crucial components in ensuring the health and development of individuals, families, and communities throughout the world. These services can improve women and children’s overall health, womens access in making policies and development. Yet access to high-quality reproductive health and leadership services remains a challenge. Inequitable social and gender norms limit women’s access to family planning resources and the choice to use any method of family planning can often lie beyond their own authority. These social barriers prevent them from participating in the decision-making process, whether at the family level or within community and government institutions that influence policy. While there are growing numbers of women in policy positions, they often struggle for a significant role among policy elites. This creates an environment in which women—the individuals most directly and profoundly impacted by family planning and leadership policies, insufficient funding, and poor or inaccessible services—are not heard by those in authority. By providing training for women and girls throw family planning and leadership workshops they can create a better environment in order to become more successful in their family and in societies or their communities. This training will develop their undrestanding and their knowledge about how to become more successful entrepreneur in their county.
The objectives of this business idea are to provide access to toilets, as it is noted that out of 35 million Ugandans only 4 million have access to toilets. Second objective is to increase access to electricity from the current 17% of 35 million people by using human waste as a fuel to generate it. Third objective is to increase access to fertilizer from the current 10% 0f 28 million people, hence leading to increased crop yields which guarantees food security. It should be noted that the fertilizer is got from the remaining waste residue after the electricity making process. Lastly another objective is to help combat climate change in the entire East African region, while promoting economic development through the use of human waste as a fuel in the generation of electricity, which is considered a clean energy. The activities of this business include the designing of the bio-gas waste to energy extracting technologies, seeking permission from the relevant authorities on installing them in our selected market segments, then installing them in urban slums, market institutions, trading centers with huge populations but hardly any toilet or waste disposal unit. When they are installed in urban slums, the technologies help in the process of harvesting bio-gas a clean energy, which is used for cooking, lighting and electricity generation. The technologies with the aide of pipes are connected to various homesteads around homes and the locals start to use biogas for their basic energy needs. The innovative approaches include the designing of bio-digesters, where human waste goes then in the absence of oxygen; bio-gas is formulated in a few days and is given off for basic energy purposes. In addition to this this same process helps turn the waste into organic fertilizer. Furthermore as another approach to providing electricity on a larger scale than

\'\'32 million Children of primary school age are still out of school in Sub-Sahara Africa\'\' -(UNESCO SURVEY). \'\'Ending the cycle of poverty for children, their families & their communities begins with education\'\'- Anthony Lak, Executive Director of the UN Children\'s Fund UNICEF. My idea is to provide both education & trades training loans to parents and guardians towards the fees of their wards and allow them to make repayments through the mobile money platforms in bits. Student beneficiaries will also be giving periodic entrepreneurship exposure including business plan competitions to avoid unemployment after graduation. AGE will do all these to join other organizations such as the UN in reducing poverty and its related problems.
When entrepreneurial learning is provided to youth under age 18, students learn to think creatively, to innovate and to use opportunities surrounding them to their advantage. Entrepreneurship becomes a viable career path for students of all backgrounds and education levels. A lack of post-secondary education is no longer a barrier to financial success as these youth have the knowledge required to create their own business and generate income. Entrepreneurs create jobs and lead to economic stability. Entrepreneur\'s Academy offers a year long youth program offering entrepreneurial education, experiential learning, exposure to the local entrepreneurial and business communities and creative activities in a non-formal learning environment that will foster the skills required for youth to find or create work thus reducing unemployment through entrepreneurship. The United Nations, Ernst & Young, Accenture and many other organizations recommend entrepreneurial learning be provided at an earlier stage of development. By providing youth aged 11-18 with entrepreneurial experiences, we are better preparing them for future endeavors thus increasing their opportunities to be fully employed or create their own employment through entrepreneurship. Our beneficiaries will receive the following additional benefits from our program Support to build and launch a business, start-up or social entrepreneurship project Access to the programs for marginalized youth nationwide through subsidized membership programs Access to a national network of peers, mentors, advisors and investors Youth who take part in the programs will develop valuable skills that will enhance their ability to find or create work thus reducing levels of youth unemployment. Many learned skills are transferable skills that will assist in future education, careers or entrepreneurial projects. In addition to main youth programs, an annual national boot camp as well as provincial and national workshops will also be provided throughout the year.
Nigeria is the world’s largest producer of cassava, an edible starchy tuberous root which is a major source of carbohydrate. Whilst women contribute around 70% of the total labour required to produce, process, market and distribute it, they earn just 17% of the total associated income. The agricultural system and cassava value-chain continues to dis-empower these women by constraining their livelihoods and productivity. This is a widespread systems-problem affecting a significant population of women in Nigeria and other cassava-producing sub-Saharan countries. Kadosh Production Company (KPC) aims to enhance cassava processing efficiency for local farmers in Nigeria by: 1. KPC utilizes an integrated mechanized plant that processes and packages cassava into finished products 200% faster for mainstream household & industrial consumption KPC provides a discounted and speedy processing services for the local women cassava farmers In exchange for their cassava peels. 3. The peels from cassava which are often considered as waste are then properly harnessed by KPC and sold to livestock farmers as feeds for their goat, sheeps, or pigs, which would otherwise be disposed and burnt openly releasing CO2 emission to the environment. We can afford to save 5tons of cassava peels daily, hence contributing to environmental sustainability. KPC enables women cassava farmers to produce more profitable cassava products and the reduction in processing time means that they can take their products to market more frequently. By working with KPC, women cassava farmers are able to process cassava in 4hours instead of 4 days. They can exchange cassava peels for a 20% discount on the processing fee. Through farmer / retailer cooperatives set up by KPC they can guarantee access to timely processing and packaging. Cooperative members also receive business mentoring and KPC helps facilitate links to large-scale buyers. KPC has worked directly with over 300 women cassava farmers.

The main objective of the project will be to generate revenue for educational development through sustainable waste management programmes. Specific objectives Specific objectives of the study will be to; • generate financial resources to promote schools and colleges development • reduce environmental degradation and land pollution within and around our schools and colleges • to educate pupils and students on the importance of reducing, re-using and recycling waste. • to inculcate into pupils and tutors that habit of waste segregation and recycling. • help provide raw materials for plastic and paper recycling companies in Ghana Activities under Trash Cash include formation and and training of school health clubs/ sanitation icons, positioning of trash bins at vantage points, separation of waste at school\'s waste collection site and transportation of waste to central collection point for sale to recycling companies. Trash Cash project create a competitive edge for schools to raise enough money from the waste they produce to undertake projects in the interest of the school and students. The better wastes are handled, the better the development of the school.
My idea is production of rice. The objectives are; To make food available and affordable, reduce/eliminate importation of rice in Nigeria/Africa as a whole, job creation. The activities are to produce and farm rice, empower farmers that farm rice and monitor/supervise them. Irrigation system, empower farmers to farm rice and buy it from them.
Credit and Care’s objective is simple: to improve the agricultural sector of the Philippines and to empower farmers, including the well-being and circumstances of their families. To some extent, the idea shall also be striving to promote the development of various, low-cost agricultural technology, among others. On another, the preservation of the environment through the use of environment-friendly agricultural technology. By allowing the extension of credit to farmers through a personalized framework, coupled with the fact that the conditional grant of credit includes the involvement of a “care person” who will be monitoring and guiding the grantee as to the use of the credit, the management of the farm or agricultural business, and the regular payment of the credit in accordance with the terms established, development of impoverished or lacking farms can grow and improve. On a grander and deeper scale, the “care” extended to farmers—including the consequent success resulting from the guidance extended to them, as well—can help the same, including their families, achieve a level of self-fulfillment above and beyond their previous state-of-mind. They will become more confident, happier and they will start to dream big or, for some of them, simply dream again. The innovativeness of the idea relies heavily on the “caring” aspect. In this day and age, most people often mind only the possible profit involved in any economic activity to which they engage (or about to) themselves. In this regard, Credit and Care seeks to show to the farmers—the people who serve as the foundation of any society—that not everyone is dedicated to profit alone; that there are people who care.
Agro-Forest Business is a business idea which will be engaged in saving the world due to climatic change. Currently, the world is facing different problems due to climatic change like disappearance of micro and macro species organisms, increase of ocean level and distractions of ozone layer. Due to this difficulties, we thing that, the world needs emergency care. And this emergency case is a responsibility of everyone to take. We decided to come out with sustainable emergency care of protecting environment through Agro-Forest Business. The main object is to save the world by planting trees to different areas and to provide education to the community about the importance of environmental conservation. We expect to work in and out of schools within the respective community. In the school, we will have clubs, those clubs will be trained to providing education to their fellow students and also we will have different forums about environments and climatic change. Out of schools community, through the groups which will be formulated, we will have different activities like forums, training, and other group activities including planting trees and selling seedling of trees. The main approaches we expect to use are like peer to peer education, partners engagement, advocacy and groups discussion. The project will help the community to save the world through environmental conservation, will help economic empowerment to the community through the business of timber and poles, will save micro and macro organisms and also will help to save the hunger.
In Kenya, youth unemployment is a key national concern. Upon graduation students get caught up in a catch 22 situation. In which, to get a job, employers require work experience whereas to get work experience students require opportunities which are proving hard to get. Some of the labor market failures related to youth raised in a UNDP (Kenya) report include: • Training and education • Mismatch of skills. Youth LITE Kenya steps in to address these market failures through a student consultant program. The program provides real opportunities for students to put their knowledge and skills into practice, whilst organizations benefit from new insights and knowledge from students who are passionate about making a difference. This is done by the team sourcing for projects from local businesses, then working with the client to set project deliverable. Finally the initiative crowdsources University students from different disciplines and institutions to collaborate, co-create and co-develop systems and innovations in response to the real-life projects set by the local businesses [Challenge-setters]. This projects provide the students with the much needed opportunity to engage in corporate tasks. Subsequently, the team that provides the best solution gets absorbed by the business. The objectives of this initiative is to: bridge the gap between learning institutions and employers; provide an opportunity to invest in a better community, economy and society that is inclusive of youth participation in development; provide students with opportunities to broker partnerships with employers; change the face of the job market whereby employers are provided with competent, efficient, and skilled services offered by students; support students to collaborate and co-create innovations in response to development issues; facilitate the participation in the discovery, transmission and preservation of knowledge and to stimulate intellectual life and professional and cultural development within student communities.
The sole aim of this ICT training and cyber cafe is to educate the environs on the use of computer and it applications, we are in a computer age, whereby all activities are been done on internet and with the use of computer,so many resident in my area are lacking this idea, this idea will bring more light to them in this area. Activities that will involve will be in various ways by first teaching them the peripheral of computer and its applications, after graduating from that, will move to the complex part of a computer, thereby concluding on a training of how to browse with a computer. As this training is the first ever in the community, this will also make the environment more civilise when we see an old man coming to check his mail for a message that he was told he received, i will make this training open up to both young and aged people, thereby making it easy to communicate with their sons and daughters outside the country without the help of others especially when they are not around
To improve nutritional intake in regions of Africa that experience calorie and acute malnutrition attention must focused on extrusion technology that use in expensive sources of protein materials to fortify foods. The technology will make traditional products (cereals and legumes) more acceptable, appealing and useful in this fast changing global society ensuring nutritious food year round. The technology processing will offer better storage stability.food added value, lower transportation cost, generation of employment, creation of new market in the food feed industries sectors, the detrimental malnutrition of the women, female teenagers and children who receive less food than male counterparts in the same household will be solved completely, the people will be productive and healthy, children will perform well at school since feed well within 1000 days after birth which are very important during growth.
In order to encourage agricultural practices in Africa and the West African region, we will source our materials from indigenous farmers; distributing the production of every crop required across Africa, that is, no two or three produce will be acquired from the same farm in order to facilitate wealth distribution and wide participation in the development of the project. These products, when acquired, will be processed so as to produce a variety of consumer goods ranging from spices to condiments to cereals, etc. Our main aim is provide really affordable as well as high quality substitutes for goods imported into the continent, which due to high import duties and the prevailing fall in the value of some African countries\' currency(evident in my country, Nigeria), has led to the geometric increase in the prices of such goods. Also, our green house project will be established in order to produce in commercial quantity products that naturally can not grow in Africa for local consumption and/or export and primarily as raw materials for our food processing plant. These products range from fruits such as berries, apples, etc to nuts; Brazilian nuts, hazelnuts, pecans, etc and a host of them.
The language learning app is a robust, colorful, fun, easy to understand and exciting language application that at this moment consists of 5 different languages preinstalled; Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, English and French. Though more languages will be added based on customer demand, the focus as of now is on these 3 indigenous languages coupled with English and French because they are the more dominant of the many languages in Nigeria. The application consist of various characters and voice command incorporated into the Rastvor Labs application in order to make it interactive ensuring that the individual using the app will not be bored. The application was developed to make learning the thus stated languages more accessible. Learning pad can be used by the teachers as an aid during language classes and also it can be used by the students as a learning aid. Parents are encouraged to request for the specific languages that peeks their interest, if they do not want all 5. Using Rastvor Labs application will improve the unity amongst Nigerians and improve our understanding of one another. Through innovative technology, applied psychometrics, and a learning sciences team anchored by Rastvor Labs, we seek to empower a whole new generation of learners. We want to establish a large regular customer base, and will therefore concentrate on elementary and high school all across Nigeria, which will be the dominant target market. This will establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to ensure stability of the business. We have created a language app that is to be used by educational institutions and individuals to teach and learn the languages of other tribes apart from their own. Most cultures appreciate when someone considered an outsider understands and speaks the native tongue, it breaks down the barrier between people allowing the so called outsider be welcomed.
The main objectives of the idea is to produce palm kernel oil and palm kernel cake for the city of its domicile, the entire state, the nation and world in general. The market for palm kernel oil and cake is both national and international. Nigeria with an estimated population of over 150 million people, a national population growth rate of 5.7% per annum and an average economic growth rate of 3.5% per annum in the past five years, has a large market for palm kernel oil and cake. The demand for palm kernel oil and cake is very high in Nigeria. This measure was aimed at stimulating the local production and attaining self sufficiency in edible oil production. The Palm kernel oil expelling business is primarily a raw material processing business. This is because the end product is still a raw material for the refineries that use it to produce edible vegetable oil and cake used for animal feed formular . The basic raw material in this industry is palm kernel nuts (PKN) and the finished products are palm kernel oil (PKO), palm kernel cake (PKC) and palm kernel sludge (PKSL). This is an all-year round business. The end products are in hot demand all-year-round. Because of the high demand, producers do not stock finished products.Buyers always book for the products in advance. The innovation to be taken is that the proposed company will be proactive and react to the needs of its publics including customers, suppliers, personnel and government authorities and take innovative steps to position itself to maximise benefits and minimise losses.
The main objective is to provide the weed management services to farmer by using modern and smart agri-technology which is affordable to farmers, weed are limiting factor that limit yield in farming, through using agricultural herbicide and other chemicals will reduce costs to the farmer and its save time, through this service farmer will have a Prent time to involve with other activities and just wait for harvesting. Weed management have two main categories one is pre- emergency weeding this are done before planting, this allow the farmer to conserve fuel for tillage, save time etc. Second is post weed management this is done after seed germination, in this case there is special herbicide in each crop. The innovation approaches is through use of agric-machinery in weed management service and also in the future we will employ ICT as one of our marketing channel where by all our core customers will be registered in our portal where they will receive important information regard to agricultural related information through our strategy of \'\'send me to the farm\'\' this strategy provide exactly what our idea is all about. In the future also am considering other users for example in road side where there is a lot of grasses , and in other project like in mining area we can control weed to reduce hazards. Consider the ranging area where is other harmful grasses, and in big plantations where the are fire hazard , weed management service are market driven, but we have to remember that our business will expand as also technology grow ,since we depend much on research.
Eco-Clinical Insurance (ECI) is a bold attempt to improve access to healthcare for poor population. This will be achieved by using waste materials (inorganic and organic) as a monetary resource.Eco-Clinical Insurance (ECI) attempts to solve the problem of poor health access due to lowsocioeconomic status. A recent estimate by the World Bank sets the poverty headcount (based on US$1.4 per day threshold) in Nigeria with an estimated population of 173.6 million at 33.1%. Households who are usually classified as having incurred catastrophic expenditure have spent 10% or more of their total expenditure on health care. In 2012, 24% of Nigerian households incurred catastrophic health expenditure. About 17% of the households spent more than 15% of total annual expenditure on health. This interplay of poverty, reduced health access and poor health outcome inspired this radical initiative to cut the sequence by a simplified yet effective health management and financing program. Each day, Nigerians and Africans at large generate different types of wastes, ranging from municipal solid wastes to organic wastes. money is usually paid to government agencies for waste disposal, but these wastes, generated on a regular basis can be used as ‘money’ to access healthcare. The wastes received are monetized and used to provide holistic care (preventive, curative, rehabilitative and laboratory) for the client. The wastes are sorted into organic and inorganic wastes. The organic wastes are made into fertilizers through composting and the inorganic wastes recycled and/or sold to collectors.Quality healthcare is a human right and should be made available regardless of socioeconomic status.
