Explain your idea in details:
Objectives of the business 1. To establish a fully functional sachet and bottled water company 2. Constant 30% increase in sales for the next three years. 3. To generate customer satisfaction so that at least 60% of our customer base is repeat business. 4. To provide quality sachet and bottle water at reasonable prices with exemplary services. Our activities is basically to manufacture pure water and market around local communities who are our targeted market. Our innovative approaches is the ability to design quality and hygienic water without leakage, because most sachet water company usually encounter leakages in their product which make the quality of their product questionable. Another innovative approaches of our business will be our effective delivery system which will be available anytime of the day, to deliver the product to our customers doorstep.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
One of our main impact on sustainable development is to be a solution to the problem of thirst by providing quality and hygienic water. The company tends to enlightened residents of neighboring communities on the need for quality water consumption to live a healthy life.The company will be involves in sponsoring and organizing events such as sporting,exhibition,conferences and cultural events within neighboring communities.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The company business model is to selling sachet water to our targeted market estimated at over 300 bags of sachet water at the initial start of the business thereby generating incomes for the company. The marketing of our product will be done majorly through our effective distribution system which will be a mobile truck. This will enable the products gets directly to our targeted market on a daily basis. A bag of sachet water is currently sold at a cost of one hundred Naira in Nigeria. But to build good customer base and encourage repeated customers system the company will sell a bag of water for eighty naira, while the cost of production in Nigeria is about fifty four Naira. The start up cost for the business will be 4,000,000 and the start up requirement are: 1. A well drilled borehole of minimum depths of (100-150) Ft. 2. Ultra violet filtration (ultra violet bulb) 3. Automatic sealing machine 4. Supply truck 5. Generator plant (25-30KVA) 6. A well fenced factory building.
30 percent of the start up capital will be provided by me, 10 percent by family and friends while 60 percent by loans or grants.
My name is Asuelimen David Osamudiamhen, and am the CEO of ASUED WATER, i was born on the 18th march 1992 in the oil rich city of Warri, Delta state, Nigeria where i had my primary education at Follow Jesus Warri, before proceeding to Goverment College Ughelli where i had my secondary education.Initially I got my start as a child in filling water on white nylon and sell to consumers just to eradicate the problem of thirst and made little money from it. And later proceed to the University of Benin where I got my B.Eng. from the faculty of engineering, department of production engineering where I was train on how to be a good industrialist and production manager. My experience will bring operational marketing and distribution skill to the business while my professional certificate brings managerial expertise. While in the university i served in various capacity leading to award and recognition by various quaters in the institution like award of service by the department of production engineering and others.
