Explain your idea in details:
Afghanistan is a developing country with a fast growing economy and one of polluted countries. This is the first time that an idea will contribute to recycle all plastic products and after collection and compression, it will produce compressed plastic bulk packages for further downcycling process of plastic companies. Plastic products will be collected from across the city by local commission-based workers and then collected plastic products will be received by collection-points in different assigned points across the city. These collected plastic masses will be carried out to main warehouse for final process of pressing and packaging in bulks. It aims to prevent wasting potentially useful materials, reduce consumption of fresh raw materials, energy usage and air and water pollution. Targeted area is Mazar-i-Sharif city, the third-largest city of Afghanistan with population of 693,000. This Idea will create 10 collection-points with a main warehouse across the city for its business.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
This idea will create 15 permanent jobs and hundreds of commission-based jobs. Spaces for local collection-points and main warehouse are rented, which will contribute to local income of the owners. Pressing and packaging machines capacity depends to collected plastic capacity, and each package weights about 80 85 Kg. In the meanwhile it aims to prevent wasting potentially useful materials, reduce consumption of fresh raw materials, energy usage and air and water pollution.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Mentioned idea is projected 20,000USD with initial investment of 10,000 USD. Capital is invested by local investors and an additional 5,000 USD will be contributed by me, the owner of idea. For its long term goals of expansion of business, loans will be borrowed from financial institutions. Plans to grow steadily over the next years, it will allow accepting any national and international orders for its products and services. And regarding relationship with partners and donors, it follows partnership and sub-contractor policy with small and large businesses keen to invest in this business.
