Smart Electric Weather Balloon that does not use Helium Gas to Fly

Explain your idea in details:
This idea was inspired by the Google Loon project. The weather balloon floats at the layer of air and flies at the stratosphere level, providing internet access to the remote area. It also was inspired by people who use the weather balloon to capture verge of space picture and study the science weather. Every time the weather balloon flies, it will be flying continuously without control and eventually it will blow-up once it is over-expand at certain altitude. So, people have to buy another new balloon envelope, need to refill the Helium gas then fly it while waiting for it to blow-up again. It was an exhausting cycle. Knowing that Helium gas is non-renewable resources and the Earth is running out of it, obviously Helium gas is not the sustainable way to fly the weather balloon. It sparks a question how to fly the weather balloon without using Helium gas? Then, the idea of Electric Weather Balloon was surfaced where induction heater is used to generate lift force and control the altitude. It is an innovative weather balloon because it is fully electric. Just like an electric car, it is electric version of Weather Balloon. What's the potential behold on this Electric Weather Balloon? It revolutionizes the way to fly at high altitude. You could control its altitude to fly up to stratosphere level and transmit internet coverage to remote area, taking beautiful verge of space picture, measure the intensity of carbon dioxide, study the ozone layer and collect data for the science weather or taking selfie. Besides, it has no rotating propeller so the noise is minimum and you could fly it as many time as you wish without worrying it will blow-up. In conclusion, it is the weather balloon that we all wanted.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Electric weather balloon gives a tremendous impact on sustainable development. We aim for big and small scale impact. For big scale impact, Electric Weather Balloon does not use Helium gas thus the Helium gas resources could be reserved or used for other beneficial purposes. In next 30 years, we could see internet coverage is provided by Electric Weather Balloon from Sahara desert to Green land. The Internet will be available at any places around the world empowering the education system, farming activity and making us stay connected with other people. Meanwhile, for the small-scale impact, the electric weather balloon creates a new science hobby for the student, scientist and hobbyist. They are going to be excited when they will be flying the electric weather balloon up to 10000 m of altitude and do their stuff and then land it safely. They just need to recharge the battery before taking it to fly again. It is something could not ever be done using the weather balloon that using Hydrogen gas to fly. On top of that, the measure of the success of this idea is the profit generated from selling the electric weather balloon. People wanted to experience the joy of flying Weather Balloon but could not afford it because it is an expensive hobby. However, Electric Weather Balloon offers affordable price and low cost of operation, yet with a better experience. We strongly believe the electric weather balloon would be a niche market for air space business. The Electric Weather Balloon is ready for entertainment or scientific exploration, recording scientific data and much more. Last but not least, Electric Weather Balloon is a high-value product that is using sustainable technology while empowering every people and organisation on this planet to achieve more and do wonders.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Our business model is customer do not need to buy helium gas when they want to fly the weather balloon. The potential customer is people who use the weather balloon to study science while the potential investor is from crowdfunding.To build it, we use induction heater to create the lift force. It heats up the air inside the balloon and flies, just like the Chinese sky lantern.
For implementation, currently the prototyping stage is still in progress and at the end 2017, the Electric Weather Balloon prototype will be taking off the ground for prove of concept. Minimum viable product will be ready at market and could be purchased online and shipped world wide. We are expecting there will be 20000 units of Electric Weather Balloon flying in the sky around the world. Last but not least, we will be implementing global marketing strategies to make our business to be successful and sustainable.
