Have you ever had a bad service experience or even a worthy recommendation about a brand or a product that you wanted to share with other people but you had no place to do this? Here we are - FiDBarks is designed to solve this challenge! We are trying to create an online platform in Africa where people can share their views about brands, products and services and also governmental agencies! We are doing this to give more power to people and eliminate the low-quality and abusive products, services in African countries. This is a huge project that aims to improve the markets and offer better services to citizens. Through this, we are trying to give power to the saying The client is the King and give clients the opportunity to say their word! while directly protecting the brands through the voice of their customers (VOC) Objectives: 1. For Consumers We aim to create the largest online community of consumers in Africa- a one stop shop for complaints and commendations for products, services and businesses. Through this platform, costumers will have the ability to rate, review, and recommend anyone, brands or products. FiDBarks will also serve as a platform where people can search for ratings, reviews and recommendations in order to help them in buying items, services, ect. The platform will also provide an excellent opportunity for people: to make money while giving feedbacks for brands, companies. 2. For Brands FiDBarks will serve as a one stop shop for Consumer analytics in Africa. It also aims to become a robust platform for advertising and targeting consumers. The platform will provide a great marketing opportunity for brands: The ability to emerge within the top searches by consumers based on ratings and subscriptions/Ads spent. 3. For Countries and Government agencies FiDBarks becomes your trusted platform for citizens voices
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
1. VOC (Voice of the citizens and consumers) 2. Get Companies to be more responsive 3. Empower the consumer and ensure he/she gets value for money. 4. A robust database for Governments for economic planning sakes. 5. Sustainable increases in business metrics such as CSAT and ultimately Revenues of Companies 6. % of profits goes to Charities nominated by users after we declare a profit-Giving feedbacks pays! 7. Employment creation and generation. 8. Contribute to the development and proliferation of more data scientist and Big Data in Africa

A graduate of geology from the Univeristy of Ilorin, with a passion for commerce and technology, I have over 8 years experience within the Telecoms sector spanning different cross functional departments such as L&D, Customer service/experience, Sales and Telecoms Marketing. I am currently undergoing an MBA at the University of Roehampton UK and have certifications such as Certified IAES telecoms marketing, CENTUM Learning trainer etc. I am and have always been entrepreneurial having been born into a family where my father was an astute business man with hands in construction, Paper, Oil and Gas and a politician in his days. However apart from my childhood and family influence, I believe that Africa will only attain its potential via social enterprises created by the youths.
