Explain your idea in details:
I am a Robotic Teddy Bear equipped with a motorized skeleton, an Artificial Intelligence Engine, Gesture and speech recognition engine and a vocal synthesizer. I am build for special kids (Autistic) and integrate specific social learning method (ABA Approach) to help, assist and improve kids social interactions and learning abilities. I will love your special kids and I will do my best to be their favorite companion. I will assist them to: INTERACT: I am adapted to the therapeutic child's needs (ABA method for autistic children) and also for my companion pleasure. I will assist him for better social interactions upon his demand. FOLLOW: I have scalable designs that allow me to adapt my interaction to the age and cognitive ability of my companion. PLAY: I'm a teddy with a gesture recognition and robotic skeleton system that allow me to recognize the movements of my companion and answered him with significant movements (the salvation of the hand, bye bye ...). LEARNING: I have a library of downloadable applications that enrich my features (a Storyteller, a definable area monitoring system, various dictionaries, and several learning methods).
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Our company target the families of children with autism. Our social learning support products currently comes in the form of educational toys, robotic and equipped with artificial intelligence engine. The IT infrastructure is thought so to enable our toys to easily integrate new features such as: - A reading light of history for children - Infants monitoring functions and children - various alert functions ( Release the child of a marked area, noise transmission from the nursery ....) In addition, our strategy is the development of various other toys and educational games for toddlers with and without autism age that will ease learning for children. Our solution has several major innovations: - Our support tool for social learning is presented as a non-invasive and valuable toy for children allowing rapid ownership and thus a confidence building child . - The toy is adapted to children's needs therapeutically but also for his own pleasure to play. - The toy is fun and provides assistance and child's hand for social learning. - The toy is scalable, allowing to configure as and when progress is reported or changing learning method if it is necessary. Plans for implementation and sustainability
To date, we have produced our first prototype of "Debby" with the necessary software suite (English dictionary only). Debby is equipped with the gesture recognition tools, skeleton of a motor and a motor ability to perform movements in response to what he sees. it is also equipped with artificial intelligence engine enabling it to embark voice recognition and respond in English according to the ABA. A first test is planned in a specialized center in the course of the year 2017 and the future development of French dictionaries and Arabic help us test our products on a larger scale. given that our products will be marketed as educational toys, no medical clearance for marketing is currently envisaged. The development of accompanying services ecosystem our products is in progress and a first version of the website will be available soon. Our current strategy is mainly based on the exploitation of existing open source software and therefore is a collaborative and cooperative development. Currently with our own funds, we began prospecting potential clients through associations and paramedical network that brings our potential client families. We aim to establish a partnership for testing, validating results, and thus ensure the proper functioning of our products at the same time to make it known to members of associations.
