This is a short interview we conducted with ARIRI JAMES KARINATEI, the creator of Animal Husbandry, Banana Plantain Plantation, and Fish Farming. If you like this project and would like to vote for it, click here


  1. Please, tell us a bit about yourself: where are you from and what is your background?

I am ARIRI JAMES KARINATEI hail from Ogbudugbudu Town, Egbema clan Warri-North, Delta state, Nigeria, has a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Urban and Regional Planning (2010)
He has a National Diploma (ND) in Urban and Regional Planning (2007)
SPECIAL TRAINING
Has attended a two weeks training program in Animal husbandry, that was organized by NYSC in collaboration with MDGs.
Has certification in Safety and Health in Construction.
Has attended a three days orientation and employability skill training program in an organization that was organized by Federal Ministry of Finance (Graduate Internship Scheme) Delta State.

2. Can you describe your idea or project in two sentences?

The project analyzed in the business plan is for the establishment of Animal husbandry, plantain/ banana plantation and Fish Farming which shall be known as Karinconsult Nigeria Limited farm.
Farm. The farm will take not less than one(1) to two(2) years to be fully established as dreamed. The farm is to be located Sapele, Delta State

3. How did you get your idea or concept?

Systematic work and planning

4. What is unique about your idea/project and how does it benefit mankind?

To be a leading industry concerned with the production of affordable cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, plantain/ banana plantation and Fishery for meeting the nutritional needs of every home in Nigeria and Abroad, and also to tackle the issue of unemployment among the Nigeria youths.

5. Describe yourself as an entrepreneur in one sentence

To be a leading industry concerned with the production of affordable cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, plantain/ banana plantation and Fishery for meeting the nutritional needs of every home in Nigeria and Abroad, and also to tackle the issue of unemployment among the Nigeria youths.

6. How do you deal with people that doubt your abilities/initiatives?

Simplicity

7. Where does your passion lie?

My passion is mainly the supply and breeding of domestic animals such as cattle, sheep, goats and pigs which will be sold both to, wholesalers, retailers and even individuals within and around the town and neighboring states to the farm location.

8. What are you afraid of or what keeps you up at night?

To meet the need-gap.

9. According to you, money is a synonym for.....

Entrepreneurship

10. What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?

The online training and friendship with others professional

11. What do you like more about the Entrepreneurship Campus?

Bringing co-entrepreneur together

12. Which idea/project do you like most?

Animal husbandry, banana/plantain plantation and fish farming.

Impressive. I really appreciate the fact you got your idea from Systematic work and planning . Being a young person I am quite interested in creating the world, I desire to see and live. I believe that if all young persons have this mind, we will surely recreate the world because we are the future generation. If we recreate our world now, tomorrow will live in the world we desire and our children will see the world in a different perspective from what we are presently seeing and living.
