your PHS project is good and your software is marketable. however, is your product a standalone applications? or do you have plan to make it a web centric application?
from my little experience of the software industry, it appears a standalone program are less distributable to many clients, because of likelihood differences in users processes, manual procedures and administrative policy and requirements.
this mean that software developers should review their business model in a bid to attract more customers and towards finding return on investment.
I don't know if this suggestion can help you grow your business in the long run.

your idea is brilliant and and of relevance to Nigeria adolescent girls. However, can you research more on business model? so that your can find investors for your product. From my experience in business, I learnt how to differentiate marketing strategy and supply chains model. it appears that business model helps startups to find a paying customer and revenue that will sustain production, while competitors are placed on close watch to understand competitors strategy. I don't know if this suggestions can help you begin follow research. your idea is indeed sustainable.

Hi Adeloye, you got a sustainable project with much impact on pregnant women and child wellbeing.

you mobile services is much desirable at least in Nigeria where action is less taken until a case of child mortality become worrisome to the international community.
there are still untaped opportunities in the health sector which I think entrepreneurs like u and I should try and provide a robust solution.
how can innovation help to determine the estimate number of infants whose mother missed vaccines within a time interval?; and what type of vaccines administered did not meet desired target, monthly, quarterly,/ annually?
these are some development research questions that need to be addressed by entrepreneurs in Nigeria

Hi Joseph, am already feeling hungry based on your recipe for launch. however, you talked about daily purchase of input/ food ingredients; does it amount to cost reduction which your business need?

compare an input purchase scenarios where you buy ingredients in bulk and observe the difference in cost or money saved.
from study on study it appearance malnutrition cases among children is worse over that of adult, could expand your target customers to be inclusive of meeting the balanced diet needs for child in your community?
my idea focused on tracking low birth weight of neonatal and adequate nutrition seems to be the best solution and not by administration of drug/syrup
you can makes recipe for infant I guess

hi Akpan, I share similar research experience and my business story is not different from yours.
However, it appears the data analysis service market in Nigeria is gradually becoming fragmented as many undergraduate, master students and even some Phd student now follow the back door to complete their thesis/ projects without having a need for real data collection, data analysis and interpretation of results.

Meaning, the customers base for data analysis offering to individuals is no long sustainable, if this trend persist. hence, data analyst therefore must review their business model through establishing profitable long term contracts with corporate firms who have challenge in managing big data in their day to day operations.
I don't know the structure of data analysis market in Port Harcourt, what am suggesting is that the value of information or deep learning drawn from organization data can produce more impact to Nigeria society and yield significant payoff to data solution provider.
I hope we can both learn and share knowledge to reshape the market trend

Hi, I like your action on adolescent sexual and reproductive health campaign, especially as you think toward real product, beyond advocacy talk.

I want to suggest, if possible for you to recruit some of the older (15-19 year) adolescents girls and boy to volunteer in the production of the reusable sanitary product. at least after closing hour from school they can help out and earn a living.
this strategy can reduce your program cost and reshape your hybrid business model.

this project will flourish beyond expectations if you can find sustainable partners that will contribute and share their knowledge with you, beyond the financial support that partnership create.

Hi Tochukwu, your project appears to be sustainable as the profit element obtained from product sales can be plough back to expand operation in the long run.
However, is it possible for you to match up with your competitors pricing model, without compromising the quality of your low-cost product sold in the market?

can you create or enter new market or existing market with another unique brand to target average income customers, while you still keep the low income customers you are targeting?
these are few market segmentation and product penetration approaches/ strategy that can help your grow your customer base and turnover annually. And it will help adjust your pricing model to get higher profit margin.
i hope this suggestion will be of value to your business mission

Hi Godwin, it is indeed true that many micro and small business owners cannot identify the difference between turnover/ annual revenue, compared to profit obtained from sales proceeds.
however, I will like to suggest that many owner/ managers of SMEs in Africa will continually battle with this common book keeping technicality. so why not research on a mobile app technology to bring simple accounting solutions to SMEs in Ghana. this strategy is one sustainable development method which your business can adapt.
