I am Angolan, currently a Medical Student at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG – Brazil), founder and President of the Administrative Council of a non-profit international organization TRANSFORM MINDS, based in Brazil, I am always influenced and interested in quality development of human life, particularly women and children, with the main objective of creating actions to combat and minimize the impact of the social determinants of health. Currently, humanity faces several challenges and difficulties for families, from access to finances, lack of support services to basic primary health care services, inadequate regulation, social prejudices, unemployment, heavy family responsibilities and low educational attainment. They are among the main obstacles that many families experience. To minimize and combat these and other difficulties, we created the ORGANIZATION TRANSFORM MINDS, a non-profit organization, to: Provide humanitarian assistance without discrimination based on religion, race, philosophy or political opinion. Promotion of health care in preventive, curative and palliative aspects; ensure education for vulnerable children; and raise awareness of socio-humanitarian issues in favor of changing living conditions; ensure respect for human rights and equality between men and women; ensure food and nutritional security for the population in precarious situations; ensure environmental sanitation.
