Media and journalism comes from being the Social Editor for Yemen Observer English newspaper since 20014.I have won the third position in the best journalist article competition about Women Empowerment and Equality organized by UNFPA in 2006. My passion and interest are always in Gender. I worked as Planning and Gender Officer for Yemen Family Care Association for 4 months. I co- fund Arkan organization with group of local youth and have been nominated to be the Gender and planning manager. I attended training program on TOT on (GenCap) and that qualified us to enlighten other NGOs in Yemen on “Gender on Development Projects” and “GBV”. In 2016 I participated in reviewing gender remark of projects submitted to OCHA allocation. I participated in UNDP My World Program for better World that lunch campaign about Millennium Priorities in Yemen. After war that campaign turn to be about peoples-effected by war. In 2013, I published my book, in English” titled " Women Moan in Silence” that contain 11 short stories of everyday life of Yemeni women and that discussed many issues that society consider guaranteed http://nationalyemen.com/2013/12/08/womens-pain-on-papers/. About my education back ground, I have M.A in Business Administration from Open University Malaysia, University of Science and Technology Sana’a, open learning program. I’m specialized on Human resource and my M.A thesis would be on Gender Pay Equity.
I have been graduated from faculty of language, Sana’a University, with B.A in English in 2003. I. I also studied French language in center culturel Français de Sana’a, I finished level VI there. I visit France in 2012, for photojournalism workshop there.
