I am Haleema Zia and I have worked as a volunteer for more than 07 years. I participated in several training and awareness campaigns and also conducted several national level events. Currently, I am working with Pakistan Girl Guides Association as Deputy Director Training.
As a volunteer, I was also part of Emergency Response Team at Pakistan Red Crescent. I was the only female who responded in Bhoja Airplane crash in Islamabad in 2012.
I was awarded Best Volunteer of the year Award by the President of Pakistan in 2014.
I got distinction in First Aid ToT conducted at national level.
I organized national youth camp for the volunteers in 2012.
I was selected by Korean Red Cross as Vice Chairperson of a workshop for 3rd Model IFRC General Assembly held in Korea in August 2014.
One of my research paper titled ‘Impact of Training, Employee Empowerment and Organizational Climate on Job Performance’ was published in International journal.

I initiated a project STEP (Slums’ Transformation & Empowering Population) for the poor slums communities and participated in All Pakistan Project Competition and won second prize.
After winning the prize I started working for implementation of my project by visiting the nearby slums communities and sensitizing them. I formed a team of 25 volunteers at that time who used to report to me for the activities and work they perform. We sensitized the slums and gave educational and awareness sessions over there.
Due to lack of resources I could not continue the project at that time.
Again in 2019 I have working for the implementation of my STEP project for the slums.
I have always worked for the youth and motivated them to bring some change. I am Youth as Agents of Behavioral Change trainer in Pakistan.
