Jelila BLALOGOE in Beninese and currently master’s student in plant breeding at the University of Kwazulu-Natal (South Africa) in partership with the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin). She is also a research assistant at the Laboratory of Genetics, Horticulture and Seed Science (GBioS) where she worked on neglected and underutilized crop mainly African Leafy Vegetable (ALVs).

She is also a co’founder of a young startup created in 2017 called BioLife. She is very interest by substainable agriculture and thing that the intensification of agriculture has negatively change our food habit. That why she choose to work on production of biological input to make sure that at the same time we are producing high yield crops we are respecting the environment and taking care of farmers and consumers Health.
