Hi Salma, Imelia, and Akhmad,

I am really impressed by all the science behind your idea! Never-ever would I have imagined that citrus waste could be turned into renewable energy. Your team really inspires me to keep studying the natural sciences so that I will be able to make a greater impact in this world. Wishing you all the successes as you turn this idea into sustainable business.

Cheers,

Hi Kumaril,

It seems as though you and I are at the same stage of idea development. As I am reading over everyone elses ideas, I realise that visual aids would be helpful for our projects, especially because we have so many different targets. I am thinking about using a website called Piktochart to create some infographic on my issues, strategies, and goals. I suggest that you take a look at the site! With that said, wish you all the best as you continue to work on your idea!

Sincerely,

Kate Bradley

Hi Lalit,

I'm just stopping to say that I applaud you for your mobile app. Im afraid that I dont have much knowledge in software engineering or anything high tech. I'm working on an age-old, low-tech device that is supposed to purify contaminated drinking water. It's so cool that we are taking different approaches but that we are trying to some real worldwide problems. Wishing you all the successes as you turn this idea into sustainable business.

Cheers,

Hi Gautam,

I'm just stopping to say that I applaud you for trying to find a solution to the endless cycle of flood and drought. I'm working on an idea that is supposed to solve the problems of unsafe drinking water and limited educational/vocational opportunities. It's so cool that we are taking on different approaches but that we are still dealing with the same issue of water. Wishing you all the successes as you turn this idea into sustainable business.

Cheers,

Hi Ronald,

I enjoyed reading about our project that harvests rainwater. It's cool to see that we are tackling the problem of water scarcity. The location of LifeFilters2Go Workshop is Ban Wiang Wai School in Fang, Thailand. The school used to solely rely on a reservoir that collects monsoon runoffs. However, the main pipe running between the reservoir and the school got blocked two years ago, so the school didnt have any running water! It took another year for the local government to build a groundwater pump and me to install water filtration systems with some grant money. The students have access to safe drinking water at school, but they dont have any at home because their wells are contaminated with pesticides and E-coli. So I am now working on an idea to produce and sell hand-held ceramic water filters so that the students and their families can purify contaminated water at home. Given your expertise in environmental science, I would really appreciate your thoughts on my water purification device. Wishing you all the successes as you turn this idea into sustainable business.

Cheers,

Hi Aloyce,

I like your idea of Commercial Beekeeping, especially having read a few articles on Bees Colony Collapse Disorder. I'm working on an idea that is supposed to solve the problems of unsafe drinking water and limited educational/vocational opportunities. It's so cool that we are tackling different issues but that we are trying to make this world a better place. Wishing you all the successes as you turn this idea into sustainable business.
