Mohammad Naufal is a 23-years-old Indonesian who has four years of experience in the non-profit sector and earned BASc in EEPIS in Indonesia. Naufal interested in environmental issues particularly in climate change and waste issues. He is now combining his engineering background with his interest, so he initiated Wastebender while doing voluntary work as an environmental speaker and community activist in rural and urban communities by joining KOPHI and YFCC Indonesia.
Naufal is a highly motivated and thoughtful leader and innovator who has incredible achievement from competition, awards, voluntary and conference in the field of sustainable development, technology, SMEs empowerment, environment innovation, and journalism. Naufal has selected as one of 84 delegates out of 500++ applications around the world in Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit 2018. He also awarded first place in the National SMEs Innovation Program by Ministry of Industrial and SMEs of Indonesia in 2018. He also achieved the best project title for his social invention in international engineering voluntary program, BEE Internship (Indonesia-South Korea joint-programme) 2015. Naufal also selected as the youngest speaker in Blue Carbon Summit 2018 held by AIPI, CGIAR, Global Landscape Forum to talk about his program to develop Mangrove Forest as blue conservation in Labuhan, Mandura.
