Young African men and women will be the pioneers of the
African knowledge society and will make a significant contribution to
innovation and entrepreneurship. The creativity, energy and innovation of
African youth will be the driving force behind political transformation,
social, cultural and economic development of the continent.
Youth unemployment will have ended, and young Africans will have an opportunity to
full access to education and training, skills and competences guaranteed
and technology, health services, employment, opportunities
economic, recreational and cultural activities, as well as means
financial and all necessary resources to enable them to
realize their full potential.
All forms of inequality, exploitation, marginalization and exploitation
systematic discrimination will be eliminated and questions concerning
young people will be included in all development programmes.
Africa will become a continent where the talent of children and young people will be
fully promoted, rewarded and protected for the benefit of society.

African children will achieve self-sufficiency through implementation
of the African Charter on the Rights of the Child.
African children will have achieved social, economic and political autonomy
through the full implementation of the African Youth Charter.
Africa in 2063 will have full parity between men
and women, the latter occupying at least 50% of the mandates
elective public at all levels and half of the management positions in
the public and private sectors. The economic and political barrier that limits
the evolution of women will have been eliminated.
All harmful social practices (including
Female genital mutilation (FGM) and early marriage) will have ended
and barriers to health and quality education for women
and the girls will have been eliminated.
All forms of gender-based violence and discrimination
(social, economic, political) towards women and girls
will be eliminated and they will be able to take full advantage of all their
human rights.
We aspire that by 2063, Africa:
- be people-centred and take care of them;
- puts children at the centre of attention;
- gives women their autonomy and allows them to play the role that
in all spheres of life;
- has achieved full equality between men and women in
all spheres of life;
- has a committed and empowered youth.
All African citizens will actively participate in decision-making
in all aspects of development, including development
social, economic, political and environmental.
