Strengths and weaknesses of the program will be identified and recommendations will be made to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and relevance of the project. This evaluation will be mid-term and will involve beneficiaries, local leaders, including school authorities, to see the relevance of the steps taken to measure the results achieved and to actually project the impact and change that the project will bring to the
community.
THE EVALUATION
The evaluation method to be used is animated self-evaluation (AEA) to encourage the expression of all the actors involved in the project. An internal mid-term evaluation will be carried out as well as an external and independent evaluation at the end of the project.
Then, the project management made up of experts in the programme of conflict prevention, management, transformation and civic education will
a quarterly field visit to assess the progress of activities.
Monitoring will take place at two levels, first by the project facilitators who
together with peer educators, monitor activities weekly in partner school brigades and in the community. The project manager will verify the compliance of the lessons learned with the
population by peer educators to the tools put in place to solve potential problems and report to the hierarchy on a monthly basis.
